Ralph's Coffee on the Magnificent Mile is undeniably cute. I really enjoyed the classic Ralph Lauren look, and the setting was the most memorable part of my visit. I stopped around 9:45 a.m. on a Friday and was able to find seating. The service was excellent, friendly, and welcoming. I ordered a vanilla latte, but the coffee itself was very standard, especially for the price. It tasted like regular coffee with cream and flavoring rather than a carefully made specialty latte. The attractive setting and excellent service helped, but the coffee did not justify the premium pricing for me. If I were in a hurry and needed something convenient to grab and go, Otherwise, I would look for a more notable local coffee shop.
We waited in line for 30-45 minutes before we were able to step inside the cafe to order. While in the moment it was a little annoying, it makes the experience inside much more manageable and less overwhelming. I opted for a cortado and shared a chocolate croissant. The cortado was bold, had the perfect amount of ice, and was delicious. The croissant didn't seem like it was made in house but it was a solid croissant. Since they were managing the line into the cafe, there was enough seating for everyone inside, which was nice. Ralph's coffee offers a bright and preppy cafe aesthetic. It's a nice change of pace. They also sell merch but a lot of it was out of my personal budget.
Coffee break after exploring Chicago , Michigan street. Nice weather and not too crowded street. This cafe is small but very chic to relax. Self serve and seated. Sat on very nice corner cozy with aesthetically decor . Ordered chocolate croissant with crispy buttery texture. Combined with freshly americano coffee. Honey coffee cold brew and mocha coffee with cream. It was pricey but aura was warm. Overall great place to hang out. You can go their beautiful Ralph Lauren store.
Planned on going to Ralph's while in Chicago for coffee. We went on a Saturday morning around 9:30am. There was a line that we waited in for about 15 minutes. There were a few seats inside that the rear of my family sat down at while I waited in line to order. The little cafe was so aesthetically pleasing and had so many different things to look at while waiting. As a speciality latte, they had featured a salted honey cold foam latte. I decided to try that iced and it was amazing. My husband got the vanilla latte and didn't like it as much, it was pretty watery and didn't have much flavor neither coffee nor vanilla. The rest of the store did open at 10, so we "shopped" around a little while sipping our coffees. When we went to leave the line was wrapped around the outside of the building. Would definitely recommend getting there early if you go on the weekend.
Got the matcha. I wanted to check this cafe out for the vibes. It was a pretty long wait to order but was quick to get the drink. Honestly felt like it was alright. Not sure if it was worth the wait but it was good for what it was. Really cute inside though
Had to stop by here on our trip after walking past it a few times. The inside is so nice! The security guard was very friendly and told us about the 4 floors and that we had to check them out while we were there. He was very kind and knowledgeable. They had a special honey latte that I tried. Most expensive coffee I've ever had at around $13 but it was honestly so good. I would definitely get it again but it couldn't be an everyday purchase because of the price. I definitely want to come back.
SO CUTE! I had this on my list for a quick weekend trip and when we walked right past it, it was meant to be! The line was out the door and we knew it was a good sign. Their menu is pretty big and the staff were super sweet. There is limited seating inside the Ralph Lauren store but we were able to find a table as people were leaving. I tried their special honey caramel oat milk latte and my friend got the oat milk latte and both yum! Not super sweet but kind of a lot of milk. We also shared an affogato which was also delicious and aesthetic. All the merch, decor, and treats leading up to the counter are all beautiful and tempting. The store is decorated beautifully, also was tempted to buy a sweater while I was there but just stuck to coffee.
Popped in strolling down Michigan Ave while doing some shopping and for how busy they were the service was pretty quick. The matcha itself was fine alone if I did that with some syrup added -- but I didn't and did the strawberry cold foam instead. Wasn't a fan of the cold foam where could have done without and just ordered a regular matcha latte adjusted to my preferred sweetness probably would have made my rating higher. The spot itself is cute and connected to the Ralph Lauren store for some sips & shopping.
Ralph's Coffee is nestled into the first floor of Ralph Lauren in Chicago. This is a busy spot on the weekends so expect a but of a wait. While the line was a little long, staff moves through orders quickly. Their menu is very straightforward with coffee and tea drinks, pastries, and a couple of other non-caffeinated drink options. I wanted to order a latte which they only offer vanilla or chocolate flavors for outside of the seasonal special. When I visited, they had a Salted Honey Cold Foam Latte. They were able to make this flavor hot for me and just removed the cold foam. I really enjoyed the flavor and all drinks came with milk art. My husband got the Chai Latte which was made from a concentrate and tasted okay. They have a ton of branded merch on display that you can browse or purchase. The inside truly felt like a cute cafe. Highly recommend making a stop in when in the area.
Tourist Trap, but coffee was good. We waited in line for 40min on Saturday morning. The weather was nice and I didn't mind waiting. It was fun experience and we had tried their raspberry latte, americano, and pain au chocolat. I wasn't expecting the coffee to be so aromatic and tasty. Pastry was okay just your average pain au chocolat, it was nice and crispy tho. The cup and saucer that I wanted was retailed for $45. The cafe is very small and because it was crowded it made it seem smaller. The atmosphere is pretty and felt intimate. Staff seemed little unenthusiastic but friendly enough.
It's so cute and quant inside. It is my first time trying Ralph's Coffee. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing the coffee was really good. I got a vanilla latte and it didn't disappoint. Everyone inside was very nice. They don't have an extensive menu but it's not needed. I would definitely stop by again. I recommend to anyone visiting Chicago.
The hype is worth it! I got the salted honey iced latte & it was SO good. Recommend stopping by and the line goes quickly!
I love this place! A darling cafe inside Ralph Lauren. A menu full of delicious coffees, teas, and pastries. I was taking a morning walk from my hotel, and just happened upon this place. I asked what was the best on the menu given it was my birthday, and was recommended by Trinity to try the Oat Milk Draft Latte and add maple. WOW! Simply divine! Outstanding! My coffee was creamy, and slightly sweet. Perfection in a cup. In addition to the delicious coffee, the pastries are also very well made. My plain toasted croissant with a side of honey was flakey and buttery. Also a divine representation. While chatting with the employees, I learned that there are several Ralph's around the nation. Good to know, since I fell in love with my order. I will be seeking those out... I ended up coming here four days in a row. I did not encounter a line with the exception of my last day. That was a wait of about 20 minutes. There are several tables inside, but when there's a line/crowded you would have to take your order to go. There is a 45 minute time limit on the tables, however. Thank you Trinity for your recommendation! When I'm back in Chicago, I'll definitely stop by.
Stopped by for some chai lattes with my mom and sister today! My mom and I got almond milk, my sister got oat. They were ready quick and really good, well spiced. My sister and I also shared a chocolate chip cookie. It was soft and had milk chocolate chips! There is not much seating at all here so it's more of a place to stop by if you're planning to walk around, but we were lucky enough to snag a table. Really glad we came by! read more

Very cute place! Little pricey but that's just Chicago, it has similar pricing for drinks like a Starbucks. Portions are seemed smaller for drinks though. The matcha was decent and so was the chai. The croissant was large and very shiny, 9/10. read more

Despite the glamorous, up-scale interior of Ralph's Coffee, the product was extremely lacking. For a Ralph Lauren-themed (and priced) cafe, I expected much, much more. I visited Ralph's Cafe around 6 p.m. on a Friday with two other people. We were helped immediately at the counter and there was plenty of seating inside, despite the cafe's small size. We ordered a Cortado, Iced Chai Latte and Iced Matcha Latte. Originally, we had ordered a Double Cortado, which is simply four total espresso shots with equals part milk (aka two Cortados put together). However, neither of the baristas seemed to understand what we were asking for (even though we described it as previously mentioned) and we ended up with just a singular Cortado. The barista at the register apologized for the misunderstanding and mentioned how they don't tend to stray from their set "rules." The Cortado was extremely bitter - a sign of burnt shots. As for the Chai Latte and Matcha Latte, both were fine, but neither were memorable. The cafe itself is attached to the Ralph Lauren store on the Magnificent Mile. The cafe also has coffee mugs, t-shirts and other themed merchandise for sale (at a high cost). We were really excited to try this cafe out, but it ended up being a big disappointment. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

The shop itself is so well decorated feeling cute and luxury at the same time. Love the white flower and the giant bear in-front the shop. The staff is super friendly feel very welcome here. I ordered vanilla latte it was okay 7/10 the coffee didn't hit much could have been better but overall they can sell the decoration and feeling of sitting in Ralph Lauren that's the point. If looking for a cute place to sit and chill this is the place. read more
Such a cute spot on Michigan Ave for a coffee pick me up and pastry. Line moved fast when I was there. Lots of cute bear themed merchandise for purchase too! Connects directly to the Ralph Lauren store. I tried the Chai latte and it was good - not overly sweet or spicey. read more
This is the new coffee spot inside of Ralph Lauren on Michigan Ave . Window displays are super cute and interior is cute and RL themed . Cafe is super small and is actually the entrance to the retail store so it gets a little backed up when their is a line for coffee . Service is great and they also offer some pastries and other branded items . Good coffee yet a bit pricey . read more

Coffee was delicious, and it's in such a quaint area. I tried the draft oat latte and my husband had the iced latte with chocolate. Both tasted amazing. Price wasn't too bad either. Definitely a place to try. read more

This is such a cute coffee shop! It is connected to the Ralph Lauren store but there is an area where cafe patrons can sit and eat and drink. Such an on brand type of coffee shop for Ralph Lauren and Michigan Ave, especially at Christmas time. The line was long but moved quickly. Prices were reasonable and the hot latte I got was very delicious and made pretty fast. The service was great as well. Definitely will be coming here when I'm shopping downtown! read more
Ooooh I love it too! Please understand though that this is a shop inside a retail space. Therefore, the primary purpose of the space is retail not coffee shop. Understandably seating is limited but as you can see it is available. The coffee is not sourced from RL it is sourced from La Colombe which is based in Philadelphia. Wherever it comes from though it is of RL quality and caliber and I loved the experience! Now if you go to the RL restaurant within the same building the beef is sourced from the RL Ranch in Colorado. Unfortunately the size of the cups pictured is the only size available. I was able to make it work by asking for an extra cup and with milk, I was able to get two cups out of one serving. read more

I did not enjoy my time at Ralph's Coffee. For the price, I expected more. You had to pay $1 for sweeter and milk substitutions. Most places offer free substitutions to accommodate for different diets, so I was surprised by how pricy the add-ons were. There is limited seating in the cafe so there is a 45 time limit on tables. They also ask that you don't use your laptop. I feel that these are reasonable asks, but I felt like I couldn't enjoy the ambiance and I was in a rush to finish my drink. I ordered a matcha latte and it was alright. The barista warned me that their matcha was bitter so to add ($) sweetener... isn't it your job to make the drink taste good? It's obviously not the barista's fault, but it felt a bit ridiculous since she was basically telling me to pay more to make my drink taste good. I only tried the matcha latte so I cannot speak on the other menu items. It's a good place to check out, albeit, for only 45 mins if you're lucky enough to grab a table. It had a cozy and elegant atmosphere so it was interesting just to check out. read more

I love Ralph's Coffee! I love the ambience inside, the friendly staff and their delicious coffee. I typically get the Iced Lattes (not pictured) but decided to get the Matcha Latte (pictured) today instead. I tell you, it did not disappoint. Their matcha is earthy and has good consistency which hasn't been my experience in most other places. read more

Excellent espresso drinks and quality ice tea. Just stopped by to grab some drinks out of curiosity ... definitely not a Ralph Lauren fan, but it looked interesting. I was turned off by the over-priced merchandise ($25 mug and $45 cup and saucer), but the service was top-notch (much better than the McDonald's like atmosphere of the local Starbuck's in the area, the Roastery excepted) and the drinks were excellent, so I would say it is a solid choice for a quick drink. There some tables, not many, but it is a bit busy to really relax there. Overall, I found the drinks and the better service enough to make it a place I would return to. read more

I ordered a mocha with oatmilk, and was super impressed! The taste was amazing. My mom ordered a chia, and mentioned it wasn't anything special. The cashier was super friendly and helpful with our ordering. The cafe area is pretty small. We weren't able to find a place to sit, but it's not like we were planning to eat a whole meal there anyway, so we didn't mind taking the drinks to go. I would definitely come back for that mocha. read more

The matcha is not yummy at all. The seasonal Gingerbread Latte is very yummy!! I also really liked the coffee donut. Service is great as the staff is all kind. The store is cute and connected to the Ralph's Lauren. read more
Friendly and fast service when we visited around 2pm on a Saturday. This place is small with just a few tables. This coffee shop is super cute though connected to the Ralph Lauren store. It's a plus that they offer milk alternatives. Prices are average I'd say for this location. Happy with my coffee order! Would stop by again for coffee if I'm near this area. read more

Finally got a chance to stop by the new Ralph Lauren coffee shop on Michigan Ave. I was really excited to see what the hype was about. I ordered a iced latte, iced matcha and lemonade. The space itself was aesthetically really nice and picturesque. The latte and other drinks were just pretty basic. I would stop by again if I was walking by but wouldn't go out of my way for another stop. read more
For the past few months, I have been walking by the Ralph Lauren storefront on Michigan Avenue which has featured an "Opening Fall 2022" sign for the Ralph's Coffee shop -- Ralph Lauren's very own casual coffee/cafe concept, separate from the adjacent RL restaurant. So what a pleasant surprise that on Friday morning, I happened to walk by and saw that the sign was finally removed and the shop was now open! The decor and theme of the cafe is beautiful -- the dark green and white color pairing, with wood trim, pervades the entire shop, and you immediately feel this classic and vintage atmosphere, characteristic of the Ralph Lauren brand. (The Ralph Lauren logo bears are also featured prominently throughout and I love seeing the bear pop up on the holiday cup sleeves wearing classic style clothing!). There is a variety of drinks and pastries on the menu, and I opted for the mocha ($6). The chocolate they use for the mocha is made in house, and I love how the drink is not overly sweet -- the chocolate notes are dark and the subtle sweetness pairs well with the espresso and frothed milk. Along with the made-to-order drinks, there are lots of other products for sale (cups, coffee beans, chocolate, etc), which serve as good souvenirs/gifts. Since the store just opened and the holiday season is coming up, I expect there will be a lot of customers these next couple of weeks, so head there early if you don't want a long wait! read more

I was asked to leave after minute or two of pulling out my laptop to quickly finish an assignment. Apparently there's a rule you can't use laptops. Along with the '45-minute table-use rule'. Beware, laptop-users. You aren't welcome here! read more
