It was sweet, but slightly bitter with a hint of the vanilla bean. It was tasty, not my favorite iced espresso I have ever gotten, but it did its thing in the moment! I hung around at first, sitting at the window watching Chicago happen for a few moments, then took my drink and hit Michigan Avenue myself. There is seating, both indoors and outdoors, but it is limited, so you may have to share space with your fellow coffee lovers. While I did not partake, they do offer a small variety of pastries, baked goods, and other breakfast sandwiches/meals. Service was decent. I initially was asking questions about the Kyoto style of coffee, but the barista just took my questions as an order and kept things moving. I decided to try that iced and it was amazing. My husband got the vanilla latte and didn't like it as much, it was pretty watery and didn't have much flavor neither coffee nor vanilla.
