Well GROVE CITY Rally's, you finally screwed up the only thing that kept me coming back every 6 months... your fries. Tonight, my fries were barely warm, and defiantly soft and limp. With that said, I guess I won't complain that the "large" fries had nearly the same amount as the "small" fry that my girlfriend ordered. I never finished them anyhow. I'll try to keep this review centered on tonight's visit and not talk about all of the other abominations you've served me over the past few years. I'm just lucky that I never contracted anything over the years. Just a thought, but maybe you should have hand sanitizer at the front door. Rubber gloves and masks would be a bit over the top I'd think. The double fish and cheese with lettuce and tarter sauce was nearly tasteless. It looked as if it had been run over in the parking lot. My double Rallyburger with cheese was in the same condition... flat as a... well guys, you know where this is going! Do you do this to conserve space and use fewer bags? Why not just mash everything together and send it out in a zip-lock baggie? I don't think most of YOUR customers would notice. By the way, did you pay that one guy for his 5 star rating, (the only one on Yelp) or just promise him a feed bag full of fries every month? I also noticed on Yelp that a butt load of corporate product photos had been uploaded to the site "from the business owner". They should all be labeled "CONCEPT PHOTO", as they look nothing like crap you serve. Seriously, look at some of the customer pics uploaded and tell me that they look like something YOU would like to eat. Probably a wise move on your behalf as some of the customer food pics could puke a cat off of a gut wagon. Just saying, not very appetizing at all. (it's getting late and my girlfriend just called me to bed. I told her, "hell no, I'm just getting warmed up with this skull fucking I'm about to hand to Rally's!") Now where was I... oh ya, I was picking your ratty ass business apart like a vulture on a dead groundhog. By the way, vultures will eat dead groundhogs, but they're smart enough not to eat at YOUR Rally's. It's not that I like eating shit, I've just got a bad memory! I keep forgetting how bad it was the time before, but I do remember how good the fries WERE. FACT: Tonight, you charged my girlfriend 25 cents for tarter sauce that you never put on HER fish sandwich AND you charged me an additional 25 cents for the "extra" tarter sauce on the side I had requested for MY sandwich. Where the hell do you come off charging for something that comes with the sandwich? You cheesy, cheap-ass shysters. I'm surprised you didn't charge her a nickel a napkin and a parking fee. Like I said, I visit your dive about every 6 months when I see Rally's has something new on their menu and sure as hell, your location doesn't carry it. This time it was the "Loaded Milkshakes", and the time before it was the "Triple Rallyburger with cheese." You see, my girlfriend is the one that goes to pick-up the order, and when she's told you don't carry that "new" item, she just orders me something else she thinks I might like. God love her, she does her damn best to keep me pleased, so sweetheart please, leave and go anywhere elae. A packet of ketchup and a happy meal would be more satisfying. So while I'm eating my pancake style sandwiches this evening, I looked over at my girlfriend with the side eye and asked comely, "So babe, how was the service?", knowing that I would soon be sitting down at the computer to "release the hounds", it's long overdue. By the way, the last time I drove by, I noticed some yellow tape around the building. Was that for some remodeling construction, or was that crime scene tape? Anyhow, she told me that the kid that dropped the order off on the counter, turned and walked away without bringing her the "substitute" milkshake. Remember, no Loaded Shakes at this location. With no other employees in sight, she had to stand there and wait for someone to come back up front to voice her concern. I'm guessing that the first little bastard was either too busy masturbating, smoking or talking to his girlfriend on the phone. I'm just glad that somebody else made my milkshake! Mind you, this is not the first time I've received subpar food from your location, but I can tell you one thing, it WILL be the last. Now, I'm as smart as a vulture. You've heard the old adage, "you get what you pay for", and with the Grove City Rally's location, it couldn't be more true. Bon appetite.
PS: So why did you receive this smack down; that's easy. Your joke rating of 1.5 stars on Yelp and your crappy customer service and costomer reviews go all the way back to 2012, and from my point of view, you haven't done a damn thing to improve them. I've been coming to your location for years, and have finally had enough. Reap what you sew. read more
