Raley's E-Cart service always saves me when I'm short on time to do my own shopping. I always get quality produce, and my order is usually ready before my scheduled pickup time. The staff are kind and helpful, and they always ask if I'd like a substitute when an item is out of stock. Special shoutout to shopper Matthew - he's always so nice and consistently picks out the best produce and meat. I get that inflation exists, but I'm very frustrated with Raley's for how much faster their prices go up compared to Winco. Raley's app sucks, and by diverting shopping-traffic through the app ONLY they have broken their coupon and advert architecture. 12.15.23: Shout-out to Raley's bakery! One of the best in town that's located in a grocery store. My favorite dessert from here that I get on a regular is the fruit tart. Today I came in to collect my birthday cupcake freebie and picked up a yummy looking raspberry mascarpone and snapped a couple of pics of the bakery case. Also, they have a new cookie menu that I took a pic of. The raspberry mascarpone was delicately light and very delicious. It was subtly sweet as mascarpone is known to be and the raspberry blended in was perfect. The chocolate cupcake was festively decorated and tasted of light fluffy devil's food cake. The vanilla whipped cream frosting was airy and tasty and the sprinkles weren't hard and had a lighter crunch. Service was good and the bakery attendant was really friendly. The store is immaculately clean. Prices are high but they stay open as people would rather go here than drive another mile and go to Safeway or Walmart. It is obvious that Raley's survives for that reason. Their meat is better than others but then again their prices are much higher too. The bakery here is the go to place for quality. Ok I'm not one to go out of my way to review a grocery store but after years of delivery service I had to give it a shout out! Since Covid , I am a big fan of shopping deliveries! I use raleys regularly. Probly 2-4 times a month on average for the last 3 years. I didnt love learning to navigate their online system? It doesn't operate nearly as smoothly as others? Sometimes it boots you out for no reason? but the staff there really make the effort and for me that makes up the lack of their online system. They choose good produce for me and meats as if it were for themselves. They text me immediately when they're out of certain items and even when something is close to expiration. They call to give me a choice and really try to accommodate as best they can. My experience with all their drivers has been nothing but positive! I shop here twice a day. I didn't realize the Deli was open at 6am and I could get a sandwich. Kim made me a truly gourmet Hot Pastrami, and was a perfect example of what Customer Service should be. I love this grocery store! It's always kept clean and stocked. Beautiful produce and the more organic options. Special deals for your rewards members on items you always buy! It's worth it! Do yourself a favor and sign up and or download their app, so you can easily clip your coupons. I've recently ordered online and picked up groceries on my way home. I've had a hiccup on my first delivery to my house. It was horrible because they were almost an hour late from their delivery window. I was super bummed and why I like to drive there. I wish we had more of this when my oldest was a baby! It would have made my life easier as a young mom. It definitely makes my life a little bit easier with my toddler these days. I'm grateful for all the extra time I have to do other things like meal prep and plan healthier meals for my kiddos. Went to the bakery to get some of the new dog treats and pup cakes. The lady who got the pup cakes oddly pointed out how much preservatives in them and gave me warnings. It was very awkward and I dismissed it as just odd. We gave pup cakes to our dogs and they looked very dry and not appetizing. The next day our 3 dogs all became very sick. One had to be taken to the ER vet. The outcome was not good. I tried to email them and got no answer. Please, if you value your pet...NEVER GIVE THEM a pup cake from Raley's. read more

I am a new shopper at Raleys and new to Nevada. I am searching for new places to feel like home. I shopped carefully for grocery deals because of our current inflation prices. When I got to the check out the checker would not grant me a new shopper scan card as a courtesy to get the grocery deals I carefully took time to shop for so I had to pay full price. I live nearby and find myself here a couple of times a week. Overall, this is a really great store. Very clean with a good selection. Their employees are very friendly and helpful, especially at the deli and the meat counter. I love having the pharmacy right in store making it so easy to take care of a few errands with just one stop. Raley's wine selection is quite good and you save a bit if you buy 6 bottles so that is helpful. This is not the cheapest place in town. You will do better price wise at Walmart or Winco but it is nowhere near as nice of an experience. Better quality food with superior customer service makes Raleys the obvious choice. read more

I'm basing this solely as a teacher who went to their bakery on a field trip. My colleague and I decided we would like to bring both our preschool classes on a walking field trip to the bakery. Shawn the store manager was easy to work with and set up the visit in a timely manner. Day of our field trip. We had 2 teachers, 4 aides, 3 parent volunteers, 16 preschoolers with Autism, and 8 typical peers. A tough group for sure! When we arrived Amanda was in charge of our tour. They let the kiddos walk through the bakery area, see the ovens, coolers, and watched one of the baker's Frost a cake. Afterwards they gave our students baker's hats, a cupcake, and juice. Our students had a blast! They were so engaged and Amanda handled our students beautifully! We will definitely make this a yearly field trip during our community helpers week! Usually its a great experience however recently with the new "coupons" and having to go on the app to get 'deals". I normally will go on y app before I shop but I did not this time as I was on my lunch and just needed to run in for some things. Upon walking up to the register was not greeted or even looked at, several registers were open and it was a Thursday before lunch so not busy. Cashier rang up items rattled off the price and I asked if she could scan the coupons...she did in a annoyed fashion. The discount was not taken off and I was told AFTER my card was charged it was digital coupon. Not great tone or customer service. Which again is pretty great at this store... With a kids and trying to shop in a nice environment I will choose this store over others even with the cost increase...However treating someone like this is just lame. We easy spend well over 600 a month or more and I felt unimportant and a bit ripped off after this interaction. Please do better, I can't even fathom how a elderly person feels when they need help with the app or getting a coupon applied with this human that helped me. Sad service read more

Somehow I forgot how inefficient and downright maddening the self check area of Raleys is. First it weighs your bags and the system locks up because it doesn't like that you weighed three canvas bags, so you wait to have it cleared. Then in the midst of things it tells you that you removed something put it back, only you haven't and that has to be cleared. Next you filled one bag so you move another bag into its place and, you guessed it, it tells you again that it needs to weigh your bags and the system has to be cleared. I could've stood in the long lines 3 times in the time it took me to check out with half a dozen items in the self check. The system of self check at Raley's needs upgrades, or maybe they should look into the system purchased by Walmart because I never have trouble at self check there. Kudos to check heLindsey for noticing I was within a dollar of getting the next gas reward level so I bought a couple bags of little cookies that my nephew loves and got the $.25 off a gallon instead of just $.10 off a gallon. Now that's what I call customer service. Construction complete. There are no longer safety hazards in the store. And it looks beautiful; they did a wonderful job. Tried out the self check today only to discover that you must leave all your purchased items on the counter before placing anything in the basket, even as the counter overflows to the floor! Otherwise you get the nasty message that something's been removed and to replace it. So you start replacing bags and you're locked in a loop of it's not the right one, it's not the right weight. Of course there's no one around to come help you figure it out and by the time I finally checked out, someone came up to me and thought it was funny that I was having difficulty. As she was laughing, she advised me I had to leave it all on the tray, pay, and then load my cart. I prefer the self check outs that allow you to remove things to your basket as the bags are filled. It's more convenient and easier to exit the store when you only have one or two bags to place in your basket as opposed to 8 to 10 at a time. Raleys really needs to rethink their self check process. read more

Helpful and friendly staff and a great fresh produce section is what keeps me coming back to this location. The hot food section is really tasty with a selection of asian food, sandwiches and the go to american staples like chicken, mashed potatoes, etc. The sushi is made fresh a couple times a day and is a great choice for anyone wanting sushi to go. Occasionally there will be a display set up to sample various items like foods and drinks. Last time I was there it was Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire that was being sampled with hot apple cider. Soo tasty! They vendor also handed out coupons for the Jack Daniels. read more

This has become our new "Regular Raley's" Why you ask? Well our other Raley's is a smaller store and doesn't always carry the items that my head chief prefers and he is picky about getting certain cuts of meat, specific brands, or consistent availability of regular items. This store is much larger than the one closer to where we live so it really fills all the requirements as listed above. I like it because there is just more room. The whole store is open and bright and the aisles are wider so the shopping experience is more upscale shopping and less bargain basement mosh pit. The level of service is what I have come to expect at all Raley's: friendly knowledgable staff who at least appear to enjoy what they do and seem genuinely happy to help you. You can't find what you need? You can ask ANY employee and they know where it is located. Need some advice on cooking a cut of meat? The meat counter staff all know their stuff. The food is fresh and much is made in-store. And you gotta love a store that has a Growler Station featuring local craft beers. Yep, I'm a fan. It is worth driving the extra 4+ miles to get there. read more

Wow. What a terrible day. I went to Raley's today hoping to set up an account and shop at the Reno Mae Anne store. A nice young man up front helped me set up an on-line account on my phone. My password didn't work so I went through an email rigmarole of resetting it. Then I tried to check out. This did not work, and the cashier, rather than help me, suggested that I pay full price, and then call from home to receive the sale prices. I left the store without any groceries and will never try to shop there again. I have never run into anything like this in my life. read more

The ecart pickup was always very convenient prior to COVID and since March, I have made it our regular weekly way of shopping. The ecart team is so helpful and courteous! When they are able to, they reach out and provide alternatives to anything out of stock, and have even suggested things for me that I did not think of. I love this grocery store! Yes they are a tad more expensive BUT with their rewards card I think it pretty much evens out. You get points and money off gas and at the end of the quarter they send you a gift certificate for a % of what you spent. The thing that makes them stand out is their service. They always remember my name and are sincerely happy you are there. They put your groceries on the counter for you and bag everything. They always offer to help you out to your car. I also love that you can find higher-end items here that you cannot find anywhere else. Whenever I go anywhere else it always makes me miss Raley's! read more

Gayle and I had some extra time before needing to be at RNO to pick up my son on his flight from PDX. We also knew that Gayle's mom was busy with Candy Dance, so we ended up at this Raley's to buy some more acute essentials (beer, wine, milk, cereal, and snacks). Since large homes in tract developments aren't my thing, this conveniently located Raley's that caters to this type of neighbourhood would probably never be "corner" store. At the same time, it's a big and beautifully store with lots of selections and services all under one roof.
