They installed a back patio pergola running off the house to cover the entire depth of the yard. They removed a hideous existing "frame" and its' concrete support pilings. They filled the resulting holes. With all the work done, I have a beautiful back yard that is now useable and comfortably shaded. I did a lot of homework and chose 3 suppliers to bid this project. Awnair Awnings is more than reasonable and worked with my schedule rather than trying to make me conform to their expectations. I highly recommend Awnair Awnings.

It finally got here and they proceeded w the work. He said it was done to his satisfaction and expected payment. I paid him in Cash for the full amount. We discussed there was a trim piece missing (see pic) and he, Bud Snyder the owner, assured me it would get that done asap when they got the piece. I should NOT have paid him until the 5 foot trim piece was put on but I thought I could trust him for it. It's been over a year now. I've tried calling him and left a message. I tried talking to him in person and he was very RUDE and disrespectful in front of my adult daughter. Would I hire him again? No.

I recently used Champion for window replacement. The sales agent came to my house and gave me a…read morequote on my windows, I said great, shook his hand and gave him my word that I would use him. He left his card on my counter withoit telling me and left 2 sheets of paper with quotes on them (he handed me them and I put them on my fridge so I would not lose them). He failed to inform me that his only contact was the business card, nor of the fact that he had even left one in the first place. Our plan was to get the ball rolling immediately as I had told him, and had he followed up, that is precisely what would have happened. Two weeks later, I looked for his number and even called the company to have him call me and got nothing. Fast forward six months when I finally accidentally check through some random paperwork that got moved, I find a business card and call him. He tells me that the price has gone up (3,000.00) when he gets to my house to require me which he did not say was the case and gives me a sob story of having to drive up by Santa Fe without any reimbursement and that he got me the best possible deal he could and that the boss was out of the office and would call me back. If I didn't pay half that evening, that price wouldn't be guaranteed either. I paid half as asked and awaited my phone call which finally came after the work was completed and the damages they caused to my house were repaired. I was told by their collection team not to pay until it was resolved and that they would likely fix the problem and ammendment the bill (nope). I was told by the owner that they could have worked with me to possibly honor the quoted price but since I listened to his shady salesman and signed the high pressure contract that I was out of luck unless I wanted to give them more money to do future work. He asked what I thought of the windows and I informed him that they were pretty, but did not perform as promised and hardware store windows would likely do something similar for significantly less money. At the end of the day, I had to pay more than 10 grand to get windows that didn't do what they said they would, work done on my house that caused damage (which was partially repaired at no added expense to me by a polite gentleman named Ed) and I had to wait 9 months to get it done. Dishonesty and business should not coincide and the bait and switch that they pulled on me I feel was just a way to extort money from my family in the midst of tragedy. On the plus side, I am a firefighter and got called to a big fire while they were working and had to leave. They finished up and were patient with me to some extent to square up with them although they hounded me every day while I was fighting fires. The people respected my family and did not hit on my adopted daughter as many would have done although they did not leave adequate instructions on what to do and what they said had us keeping the windows closed until they fixed my house 3.5 weeks later. The repair man was also quick and efficient with the drywall repairs although the window sun shades were unable to be repaired and I had to come out of pocket to replace them. Honestly, I wish I had my old windows back and a chance to go to the hardware store and get them for 10 percent of the total cost and simply install them myself. They would have looked pretty and been much cheaper and at the end of the day I wouldn't have been cheated by a dishonest company.
