Kudos to Isaac! Walked in on a Saturday morning with floor tiles and a paint swatch looking for coordinating tiles for a fireplace. As we walked down the isles, Isaac showed us about 6 that he thought would work well. We picked out a couple and went with his suggestion on the final selection. The folks at the Tile Shop were amazing when we worked with them! Anita and the store manager provided us with great customer service and helpful insights, insights that no other tile shop that we visited in Albuquerque informed us about. In particular they introduced us to the concept of tile "faces" and that the porcelain tiles were were looking at could vary quite a bit, an issue that we had been struggling with prior to visiting them. They were also incredibly flexible with us in placing our tile order. They were also sympathetic to the issues we experienced prior to coming to them and did everything possible to earn our business. They have an excellent lovely choice of tiles, unfortunately, they did not have what my heart was set on. She gave me great advise on tile sealer for "pencils" so I bought theirs. Thank you. Outstanding customer service. Employees take the time to help you make the selection that is best for you. If one service rep is not there or busy they tag team for each other. Store is well laid out with many show models of their available products around the building. This is a one stop shop, because they have everything you need even equipment. The manger even gives a mini class on laying tile. I decided to attend the class & learned a few new tips. We used this place first as a consumer & I liked them so much now using as a contractor. We shopped many places around town, but found no store that provided the service & large amount of quality product. This is the only place we will buy tile here in town read more

I'm giving this store 2-stars because they have a nice selection of tile. I've bought tile here, I am a customer and my information should be sufficiently captured. But they can never seem to bring up my information, even though they can "see" my name and phone number. Something about not being able to link records. Ordering anything at all is extremely laborious and difficult. One order came in and 1/3 of the tiles were broken. read more

I have been working with the Tile Shop (Isacc and Erin) since last March and they were very patient with me in making selections for my remodel of two bathrooms and the tile throughout the house. Erin helped me to design a very intricate pattern for my kitchen backsplash integrating glass into the design which came out stunning. James was also quite helpful when I had numerous questions about how to lay out a pattern in our entryway and how to tell our tile workers to specifically place the tiles in the kitchen backsplash. The store has a wide range of products to choose from and they were great about informing me when the order had come in and assisting my construction company with the pick up. We just finished our project which actually started in November and am quite satisfied with how this turned out. I can't say enough about how well the entire staff and managers worked with me over these months to make this project a success. I made countless trips to the Tile Shop to try various tiles out in my home and they were quite gracious about exchanging them and guiding me through the process. Avoid this store at all costs I was very excited to stop in and pick up some Moroccan style tile for my extensive remodel on my Spanish Bungalow here in Albuquerque. My wife and I walked into the store and were greeted by a portly young man who asked "what brought us in? ". I told him I was looking for the Moroccan style tiles and showed him a picture from their own website to which the "Manager" (of the moment) told me "We don't sell that Mexican stuff here - you should look at Talavera Tile for that kind of tile". He then turned his back on us and walked away. I then happened to look two isles over and saw several shelf displays filled with the exact tiles I had indicated along with dozens more options in the same tile! I asked him to come over and explain to me why he had tried to deny us service to which he said "I'm here all alone and I have 4 other people ahead of you so if this is what you wanted you should have said so" I reminded him I had given him the product name and even showed him the photo on my cellphone. I asked to speak to his manager or the owner and he said He was the manager and walked away - I followed him to the front desk and asked to leave a message for the General Manager - he handed me a card and when I dialed the phone on the card it rang back to him and he answered and smuggly said he would leave a message for the general manager to call me. I never heard from him of course. Stay away from this place and tell them to get rid of the tell-a tubby that doesn't know the first thing about customer service or high end tile! read more

We built a new home and had a lot of tiling needs. The first shop we did business with was recommended by one of the builders. What a nightmare, they way under measured or over estimated. We were delayed months due to incompetence, because when they did order another shipment it took weeks and they ordered the wrong tile. When we went to the tile shop we ordered and were told they had weekly shipments, and they did not lie. We were able to get all our tile in a very timely manner. read more

Brought in a tile to complete a project. "We don't carry those anymore" "They are discontinued" "outdated" They are also next door at Floor and Decor. To top it off, no one seemed really interested in helping us or showing us something else. We had to ask someone for each and every thing. We've shopped around town for tile and were so glad when we ended up at The Tile Shop. They really know their stuff and are incredibly helpful without being pushy. Saturday mornings, the manager teaches a class on the basics of tiling, and he builds the class around what you're working on. They also have a great return policy. read more
