The floors in the kitchen had to be torn up and matched to the floors in the living room and dining room, as they were all in the "line of sight". The existing floors are 20 years old and quite worn. The new floor boards were laid in the kitchen, and ALL the floors had to be sanded and stained to match. I defy anyone to come into my house and tell me where the new floors end and where the old floors start. They literally did a perfect job. No one can tell the difference. We love the color. We have natural American cherry, and it is hard to work with because it changes color so much as it ages. Yes, the old and the new look exactly the same. And they are gorgeous! Everyone at the company is very professional and easy to deal with. Kevin, the owner is an amazing guy and stands behind his product and his employees. He called during the process to make sure we were happy. In the end, there was one mistake made, as some grout in a transition spot from the kitchen floor to the tile in the laundry room got missed.
