I would never recommend this "business" to anyone. Beware hiring this man. Sure wish I read reviews here and Google beforehand. Lesson learned. Sadly, my statement below is not exaggerated. Kevin scammed us and didn't even complete the $7k job. Make sure you have cameras. Our 4-day project turned into a month long disaster project. Kevin was responsive in the beginning, prior to us paying of course, and after payment was made he became less available/responsive. He would NEVER show up when he said he would. He went out of town in the middle of our project. We now have to redo the flooring project because his work was so poorly done that no other company will take the liability to repair what he did. Parts of the flooring didn't meet up with the wall, he used silicone to fill huge gaps where the baseboards didn't meet up with the wall (corners specifically), the baseboards didn't match up to each other and had gaps, he never added transitions. We have 10 hours of video footage where Kevin lounged in our rooms watching videos on his phone, left our door open and unsupervised for hours at a time, and treated our office like a getaway instead of a job. So unprofessional! He refuses to refund us but gave up on the job and admitted several times via text and email that he was embarrassed by his own work and that there was no excuse for it. The last email ended with, and I quote, "I have to admit there is absolutely no argument for these claims. There were a lot of distractions and lack of motivation last night." He eventually offered a partial refund and then ghosted us. Sadly, the photos on my Google review are only some of his "completed" work. read more

Appleton Residential Services is my go to contractor for all household repairs. He replaced my rusted out swamp cooler, painted all the trim on my windows, replaced the floor in my kitchen, installed a new toilet and even took the time to fix the grout in my bathroom that didn't match the rest of the floor. Beware of this guy. He responded to my request for someone to install two ceiling fans. He booked me a week out -- that should have been my first red flag. He was supposed to come this afternoon and never showed up. At 4:30, I called him and he gave me some story about being in Lowe's to get supplies for a plumbing job that would only take an hour. It was so obvious that he had completely forgotten about me and the job that a week ago he was so anxious to get. He told me he would call when he finished the "plumbing job." I am an avid review reader and I believe it's important to share the not so good experiences as well. I went through home advisor to try and find a reputable contractor and first impression was great and timely. I was given the run around with regard to getting cabinets done and lots of text went back and forth. Because the first scheduled commitment fell through I gave another opportunity to reschedule because of the holiday's. I was then 'promised' to be a priority and yet again commitment fell through. Was told multiple times I would get my fence up as well as my wall for my backyard fixed. Tried multiple times to call and text but no response.
