Take Out Review! 1st time - I placed an order for delivery. It took about 45-55min to arrive. The food was warm and well packaged. I had the pad thai and spring rolls. the pad thai was a bit sweet for my liking. The spring rolls were your average spring roll. my boyfriend had the peanut chicken. the chicken was grilled separately from the peanut sauce (it comes in a separate container). it worked out because he didn't like the peanut sauce - it very heavy and thick so if you are not a peanut butter lover, don't order it. 2nd time - I placed an order for pick up since it was only pad thai ($20 minimum for delivery). They told me it would be ready in 10 minute which was perfect. I drove up, walked to the bar and quickly grabbed my food [I gave the restaurant a quick scan while I was there and it was very nice. a comfy, romantic atmosphere with dim lighting and dark hues of colors]. I requested the pad thai to be semi-spicy - it balanced the sweetness that I experienced the previous time. I enjoyed it much more. I also asked for a side of their spicy homemade sauce - delicious! Hopefully, next time I go I dine in. until then, I found a great local restaurant for Thai food. Overall, tasty (kinda average) Thai food, street parking, $20 minimum for delivery. Almost a year after first trying this place I have to say that it has not improved. The only thing we like about this place is the decor. When I ask for thai-hot I got bland- but at least I got a plate in front of me because a person at my table got nothing- and then the server acted like it was a kitchen mistake which is fine except I doubt the kitchen also mistakenly forgot to bring our drinks. The manager/owner lady was pretty rude about it when we were walking out. read more

The menu, decor and concept of Ra Kang belongs to the owner of Cha-Ba but unfortunately the investor is a greedy rat who pushed the whole staff out once they worked hard for over a year to put it together. I urge everyone to BOYCOTT these jerks! read more

I didn't expect them to have alcohol, but they do have beer and wine, not a huge list or anything, and I wasn't drinking anyway, but nice to know. My dad got his favorite: massaman beef curry and I got the Tao Hu Hor. It came out quickly, which was good as I was on a time crunch and needed to get back to work. I knew as soon as I laid eyes on my food, it would be good and I was correct. Gorgeous little bundles of veggies smothered in black bean sauce, one of my favorite flavors and in addition to the bean curd skin that wraps around piles of spinach and mushrooms, there's also slices of bean curd, so this is a plant protein powerhouse dish. And absolutely delicious. My father almost lost his mind over how good the sauce is and I think he may consider ordering it in the future (he's a devout meat eater so this is unusual, heh). I'm so glad to have a new LI discovery. We'll be putting this on regular rotation when I'm in town.
