i've gone to canes a few times. the first time the food was soggy and i couldn't understand the hype. gave it another chance and it was better. fairly decent food. the times i've gone the staff is either serious about their jobs or immature, treating the job like some social convention which tbh is not something i liked. dinned inside a few times and its pretty okay ambience. the last time i went there, which was a few days ago, i ordered a caniac combo. i ate almost the entire thing (minus the coleslaw, let's be honest, who eats it?) and i was on my last tender when i noticed that my chicken was raw. not just some slight pinkness, but straight up pink and slimy. i've never been the type to say something or complain about things like this but as someone who has had salmonella ( it was NOT fun!! ) i was worried. who knows if the other chicken tenders were raw too. i might go back again in a few months if i don't get sick. read more

This one worker who had freckles and was wearing a ski mask was extremely rude. I have a stutter and had a hard time saying my order and the worker asked me if I was tripping. He was on something I didn't know canes hired people who were high or on crack, his eyes were red and barely staying open. Not impressed at all. Coating is very bland. Absolutely no seasoning. Expensive and not very tasty. Will not get again. Drive thru is a zoo. Different process with "runners" bringing food to the car. All the staff was very friendly but the food not worth the trip. read more

Today was my first ever experience with RC. There was a long line for the drive thru but it moved very quickly. Quick service with friendly staff. I was a little disappointed by the lack of variety on the menu. They basically have chicken fingers only. Even the sandwich is just chicken fingers surrounded by a bun. I usually prefer grilled chicken but that wasn't an option. The best part of the meal was the dipping sauce which is very tasty. I'd return if I happened to be in the area but I wouldn't make the drive specifically for RC. read more

I really hope the owners have really good liability insurance. Their drive thru set up is horrible the cones are always run over and people don't merge or let you merge correctly and almost every time I try to goto here someone almost always hits me because they don't have employees directing traffic. Service is great, drive thru lines are weird for no reason. The look of the place is good. The one thing I thought wasn't going to be bad was the food and well it ain't great. Honestly the chicken isn't terrible the sauce honestly is trash very very overhyped. The fries and toast leave a lot to be desired. The one thing that is just dumb is how they put the coleslaw in the same plate as the hot food, makes no sense at all by the time you eat it the coleslaw is all warm not appetizing at all, would be easy enough to separate them. Food came out amazing and the staff was friendly. So why not a 5 star review? Because this restaurant is a cheap *#@ not to give us more than one sauce for your chicken meal. Seriously they want to charge you for any extra sauce. Trust me, this isn't about $0.40 per sauce. But let me explain. I order my son a 3 piece chicken meal and I order a 4 piece chick meal. Both of us get the same size container of sauce for your chicken. And after eating 2 of the chicken pieces, the sauce was gone. So how in the world is one sauce container adequate. It's not; especially when there are different options for portion sizes. I asked to speak to the manager but that was a waste of my time. So... you lost my business because you feel offering your undersized sauce container and feeling the value to make another transaction to collect $0.40 is that impactful to your business model, you can sit on it because my family and I will happily give our business to Chick fil a, Popeyes, or KFC. Flavorless Chicken & cold fries. Gave them 3 chances and it's still a No for me. Service was a 10 until this last time the person in drive thru decided to give me attitude because he asked what kind of soda but at the same time I asked for the toast to be extra toasted he then replied "Ok...But...What...Kind...Of...Soda" and he ended up charging me for an extra piece of toast when I asked for the toast to be extra toasted.
