Let me start by saying our water is a well, surrounded by farm land. We DO NOT drink our water. You could but it fizzles and is cloudy and stinks and tatses horrible. Plus we we use the showers the entire house smelled faintly of rotten eggs and no matter what product I used to clean, the tubs showers and toilets never came clean. Absolutely loved finding a business that sent someone to my home and didn't push for us to purchase their product. Brandon came to our house and we had no real expectations of being wowed, or purchasing a product since we've had water testing done before and we're offered outrageously priced RO systems. We really just wanted an idea of what kind of water we really had since previous water testing just showed we had sulfur in our water, my husband and I though knew there was more going on than that. Once done with his presentation Brandon (who dealt with our nosey kids with ease) let us stew on what we had learned and literally all we had to do was share a look and my husband said "whats the price tag for what we need". We purchased the Clean start, the UltrefinerII and the QRS and Conditioner systems. Essentially we gave our family brand new water. The results were noticed darn near instantly. I couldn't be happier, and though I had sticker shock at first I quickly realized that we were spending upwards to 100$+ a month on drinking water and our laundry never really came quite clean and if I wanted my bathrooms redone I need to be able to stop the corrosion of the surfaces caused by our water. A monthly payment thst is much less than I was expecting clinched the deal. Jason, our installer, was phenomenal again dealing with a nosey child who had a million questions and making the install as easy as possible. Upgrading my home to include a washer & dryer also necessitated upgrading the quality of my water to reduce the iron level. I contacted RainSoft of Northern Michigan and am very happy with their immediate and professional response. Kasey pleasantly and efficiently arranged an appointment with Brandon. Brandon arrived on time and cheerily explained the process of water testing and what would be needed for my specific well water. The paperwork was quickly dispatched and, with a call to the office, he learned that an installation appointment was available with Jason the next day. Jason was also timely. He worked with an ease that comes with 17 years of experience. He was very good at explaining each step, and never once complained about the required trips into my crawl space to connect to my well. He cleaned up all packaging materials, reminded me that any questions I might have would be quickly handled with a phone call and pleasantly went on his way. While trying to change my arsenic filter I had a difficult time and even though I removed the hose from the old filter, in doing so, kind of messed up the hose. I couldn't get the hose back into the new filter. My boyfriend and I were definitely not filter experts and we wrestled with the filter for at least a couple hours before giving up. I called Rain soft first thing the following Monday and Kramer came out that day and repaired the hose and changed all of the filters for me. He was very kind and understanding and it took him no time at all. He gave me very specific instructions on how to change the arsenic filter and hopefully I will be able to do it myself next year, but well, we shall see. read more

We have been concerned about the quality of drinking water in general so when the free water testing offer came in the mail it was a no brainer. Dale showed up on time and was respectful of our home. The tests were a real eye opener. With no pressure whatsoever, we opted for the reverse osmosis system based on the results of the water test alone. We had the pleasure of having Brandon introduce us to the RainSoft system after showing us what we've been living with for the last 20 years. He clearly showed us what was causing the issues we've had and then told us what we needed to do to take care of it. The visit I had with Dale was very informative and exactly what I needed! he has a positive nature about him and is helpful with all questions, even subjects not about the water! he was able to show me exactly how much iron is in my water and another test showed large amounts of dissolved solids in my water! I'll follow up with a FREE test from the County Health Dept. to see which solids, metallic or mineral, are in my water. I would suggest that anyone with water quality concerns have a visit from Dale! I have had problem water for many years. I used Culligan and Kenmore products previously, neither of them could take care of the tannin's in my water. On a whim I sent a test in from home depot and was contacted by rainsoft. The whole process was easy and they were flexible with my schedule. Once I purchased my system they installed it and removed my old equipment without a problem. The equipment comes with a lifetime warranty as long as I own the equipment. We had RainSoft treat our water and drinking water at our cottage up north. The regular shower and sink water worked well right from the start and was a good improvement. The drinking water took a few adjustments. Jay came recently to work on it and now all seems good. Jay was very helpful, figured out the issue and did some effective customer education. We had the RainSoft Water Treatment System with the Alkaline reverse osmosis installed today and we are very pleased from the sales representative Brandon who was very knowledgeable to Dan who did the install perfectly. Dan took the time to show us what filters will need to replaced and when and as a bonus they will call us when it is time to replace the filters.
