Unethical business. Sold a system in 2021 under their entire guidance and testing of our water. We…read morehad failures under warranty, and in 2025 October I had another technician out - he sated bluntly "you should never have been sold this unit, it was always going to fail in a few years". I have attempted to get some level of support to make this right, at best a few hundred dollars off what is nearly a $1,500 investment now to fix a system that under their own staff, I should not have been sold. Their service manage was incredibly rude and condescending to me - blaming us for choosing this system despite it being one of 2 suggested to us - and the billing person being worse, now threatening to send a $97.50 charge for the service call (which I had never been levied before, nor informed of in advance to have consented to) to collections and being very combative on a call where I simply tried to find a positive resolution. Do not do business with them.

The short version of the story is... the lady showed up and didn't even bring any salt AT ALL came in and took the cover off the salt bin, and took the cover off the timer and pulled a piece if paper out and told me "it's going to be $2600.00 to replace the system." She couldn't give me a single reason why the system needed to be replaced). Because there was absolutely nothing wrong with my system. It literally just needed salt). I asked her multiple times why I needed an entire new system, and IF something was wrong how did she know bc she hadn't looked at anything at ALL.. she had no answer. The fact they showed up with zero salt says it all when that's literally what I asked for

I kept getting alerts my water level was high then it would kick in and drain. Then I got high voltage alerts, then another that said undefined. Douglas was willing to honor my warranty but then in reading the paperwork I discovered it was not recommended using a generator with it. Another thing not disclosed to me. They didn't even realize it. Which why would they not know these things?? It is overly sensitive sending alerts over every thing. They did agree to remove it so I could get something else and return my money .... However when they came to pick up their sump pump they had no money to give me. After feeling lied to I did not give them their pump. I now have to return the pump to the office and then I get a check. I would have recommended their water conditioning but at this point I definitely don't trust them. This sump pump is apparently new to them and they have no knowledge of restrictions it has. I'm deeply disappointed this happened as the installers Connor and Wes were great and did their best to help. I definitely do NOT recommend this company at all especially their sump pump that they know nothing about. Call the manufacturer like I did. Every little thing voids the warranty.

This company gives you everything you would want from a service company. I made a quote request…read moreonline for help with our water quality on a well system. They called me and set up an appointment to review our systems. To be honest, I thought we wouldn't be able to afford fixing out stinky sulfur water. Surprisingly, they got it done at a price we could make work. They gave us quotes for a new water softener, a well pressure tank, and a electrical anode rod. Turns out, our current pressure tank didn't have a safety valve, so we chose to replace that and the anode rod. I really like the modern system they use for sending quotes online where you can select the services you want. Finally, we had a technician come out to do the repair. He was on time, professional, and did excellent work. Best thing ever, we no longer have stinky water!!!! We have been trying to figure this out for 2 years, had called multiple places that had no solutions, and Advance finally made it happen. Thank you!!!

I chose this company because they were recommended by Mitchell Building Company and because they…read moreservice many homes in our subdivision. Based on that reputation, I expected quality installation and customer service. We purchased both a water softener and a Dr. Rust system because we were told our well water had a very high iron content. The entire purpose of the Dr. Rust system was to prevent iron staining on our brand-new white siding, stone, driveway, sidewalks, and other exterior surfaces from our irrigation system. A few months after the installation, we discovered rust staining on the exterior of our home. When a technician came out to inspect the system, he found that two wires had never been connected during installation, meaning the Dr. Rust system had not been operating since the day it was installed. I then spoke with the manager, expecting the company to take responsibility for the installation error and discuss restoring our home's exterior. Instead, I was told that we should have contacted them sooner, even though the system had never been functioning because of the installation issue. The only solution offered was to send me a bottle of rust remover. I understand that problems can happen with any installation. What disappointed me most was not that a mistake occurred, but how it was handled afterward. I expected the company to stand behind its work and help restore our property to the condition it would have been in had the system been installed correctly. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
