Looked at the iron filter & told us it was no longer working & was too old to be repaired. Because they installed our old system, we had them install our new system, even though the quote seemed pricey. They installed it either the same or next day (I can't recall). The rust is gone & the water no longer smells bad so I am happy about that. I do feel like we probably paid too much, but didn't have any other quotes to compare their price with. Had we not done business with them in the past & felt so desperate about our current water situation, receiving additional estimates would have been the prudent thing to do. Did we pay too much? ‍ Maybe. The system is in. It was done in short order, and, at this time I'm very happy with my water quality.

Dear Wolverine Team,…read more Complete disappointment and a bit ripped off. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service provided for our water filtration system and to request a refund for the tannins system. In 2024, we paid over $9,000 for Wolverine to install a complete water filtration system. During the one-year maintenance check in the summer of 2025, I specifically asked the technician why no salt was being used in the tannins system. The technician assured me that all machines were working correctly. However, we recently discovered in Fall 2026 that the tannins system was never plugged into an electrical outlet. For two years, including after a professional maintenance inspection, your team failed to notice that this machine was completely unplugged. As a result, the tannins system was never operational. Given that this equipment was never functioning due to improper installation and oversight, I request a full refund for the tannins system. Sincerely, Carol Wreggelsworth

Called half a dozen and Lyon's was the only business who picked up their phone. They initially weren't positive if they'd be able to come out the same day, but called me back to confirm that they'd be able to, and showed up exactly when they estimated. The technician they sent was extremely knowledgeable and entertained my idiot homeowner questioning. He confirmed that the well pump was actually running and installed a pressure gauge, which showed extremely low pressure. Then he asked me if my garage had water running to it; it turns out it had several gallons of water pouring out a burst pipe. We shut the water off to the garage and he confirmed that the house was building water pressure again. After all the work to inspect the pump, install the new pressure gauge and confirm functionality Lyon's charged me less than the plumber who initially came out. Would definitely recommend.

They called me and set up an appointment to review our systems. To be honest, I thought we wouldn't be able to afford fixing out stinky sulfur water. Surprisingly, they got it done at a price we could make work. They gave us quotes for a new water softener, a well pressure tank, and a electrical anode rod. Turns out, our current pressure tank didn't have a safety valve, so we chose to replace that and the anode rod. I really like the modern system they use for sending quotes online where you can select the services you want. Finally, we had a technician come out to do the repair. He was on time, professional, and did excellent work. Best thing ever, we no longer have stinky water!!!! We have been trying to figure this out for 2 years, had called multiple places that had no solutions, and Advance finally made it happen. Thank you!!!

I chose this company because they were recommended by Mitchell Building Company and because they…read moreservice many homes in our subdivision. Based on that reputation, I expected quality installation and customer service. We purchased both a water softener and a Dr. Rust system because we were told our well water had a very high iron content. The entire purpose of the Dr. Rust system was to prevent iron staining on our brand-new white siding, stone, driveway, sidewalks, and other exterior surfaces from our irrigation system. A few months after the installation, we discovered rust staining on the exterior of our home. When a technician came out to inspect the system, he found that two wires had never been connected during installation, meaning the Dr. Rust system had not been operating since the day it was installed. I then spoke with the manager, expecting the company to take responsibility for the installation error and discuss restoring our home's exterior. Instead, I was told that we should have contacted them sooner, even though the system had never been functioning because of the installation issue. The only solution offered was to send me a bottle of rust remover. I understand that problems can happen with any installation. What disappointed me most was not that a mistake occurred, but how it was handled afterward. I expected the company to stand behind its work and help restore our property to the condition it would have been in had the system been installed correctly. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Brion patiently fielded all questions and calls and made me feel exceptionally good about the solution we applied for our hard municipal water.
