I had 3 contractors come out and evaluate my air conditioner on one of the hottest weeks we had here recently, I will not mention the other contractors but I do have to tell you I was very disappointed in the up front charge to diagnose the problem with our unit, not only diagnostic charge but travel charge, now I get gas prices are high but this contractor is only 6 minutes up the road and they still added $50 to the charge, they left without fixing the problem and were pushing us to buy a new unit. The young man that came to our house from Allyson at no charge, diagnosed the problem and fixed it that same day for a lot less than the others wanted, very professional and easy to talk to, I just have to mention that I also bought a new thermostat from him that he installed that day and came away costing me less than what the others were trying to charge me just to replace the motor on the unit.
