He asked my husband to show him the furnace, my husband walked away for about 10 minutes, when the technician came back upstairs he stated to me that the Motherboard needed to be replaced, My furnance is only 5 years old and there's no way the Motherboard should be malfunctioning. When I begin to question why the Motherboard went out in a year, the technician did not have an answer he stated I did not have to pay, My neighbor Ms. Tolbert had the same problem and she also used the Lyons who told her the Motherboard was out on her furnance also. This company technicians come out to look at your furnance and it always needs a major repair. In June 2023, I bought a 2002 square-foot Tudor style home that was built in 1929. I really wanted…read morecentral air-conditioning, but knew it would be problematic because of the plaster ceiling and walls. Not only that, but I have a boiler and radiator heating system system and I wasn't willing to replace it in lieu of a furnace for central air and heat. I did get one bid and that was for mini splits only and then only in 2 bedrooms upstairs and one unit in the dining room. The price was astronomical and I thought I would be resigned to using portable air-conditioning units during the hot months. That was, until I found Jeff. We scheduled an appointment for a free estimate, and he determined that he could install central air conditioning in all four bedrooms and the bathroom upstairs by placing the air-conditioning unit in my attic. The other company I had give me an estimate never even thought of that concept. The possibility of having central air downstairs wasn't an option because of a number of different obstacles. I have two mini splits downstairs, situated in rooms that will allow for maximum cooling of every room on the lower level. Tyler, Ethan, Hunter, and Jeff, himself, were meticulous and took pride in their workmanship. They went to great lengths to ensure that my flooring was covered and everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. I've had a lot of work done at my house since last June, and this crew was the most polite, thorough, and hardworking as I've seen! I would give Optimal Heating and Cooling 100 stars if I could!
