They were very helpful. Subsequently, a technician by the name of Harley replaced the well pump, motor controls, and interior pressure tank and control box. He was super competent, courteous, and dedicated, staying well into the evening to get the project done. The system is high-tech and very quiet, and our water pressure has increased significantly. Called half a dozen and Lyon's was the only business who picked up their phone. They initially weren't positive if they'd be able to come out the same day, but called me back to confirm that they'd be able to, and showed up exactly when they estimated. The technician they sent was extremely knowledgeable and entertained my idiot homeowner questioning. He confirmed that the well pump was actually running and installed a pressure gauge, which showed extremely low pressure. Then he asked me if my garage had water running to it; it turns out it had several gallons of water pouring out a burst pipe. We shut the water off to the garage and he confirmed that the house was building water pressure again. After all the work to inspect the pump, install the new pressure gauge and confirm functionality Lyon's charged me less than the plumber who initially came out. Would definitely recommend.

Ray is da man. We're staying at a friend's place on the lake. It's on a well. The water…read moremysteriously stopped one day, after checking everything we knew to check, we called the cavalry. Ray arrived and wasted no time troubleshooting and discovering a clogged screen about 110 ft in the ground. Unfortunately, the technique that works best also has the well down for a couple days. While he was treating the area, we took a small overnight trip. Upon our return the next afternoon, we were surprised to see Ray was reassembling the well. One successful test later, we were back in action. It's nice to know whether we need a new dug or repairs to an existing system Ray is there to make it happen. 10/25

My last well was drilled by Ken Lee about 6-7 years ago. My well pump was starting to run a lot…read morewithin the last few days, clicking on and off repeatedly. I called Ken Lee and they came over within a couple of hours. They replaced my pressure tank with a Flex Lite Mod. FL12. Put in a new 18 inch section of copper pipe and a new shut off valve. Cost $750. I thought that was a lot for one hour of work but paid it and was glad to continue to have water. I wondered what the material costs were so I checked on line: the pressure pump was in the range of $250, plus or minus depending on the supplier. The copper pipe and valve was maybe $20. That was about $500 labor charge for two guys for an hour !!! Ouch, that hurt. Lesson learned. But, I don't do well pumps and pressure tanks. My options are not good. But again, ouch--that was unbelievable. I feel ripped off.
