Spring...time to have my sprinkler system prepared for summer use. My regular maintenance man retired last year and I had to find a replacement. I looked through internet listings and finally selected AWDIS. They were booked up for about two weeks but that was no problem at this time of year. It had rained almost constantly in the morning of the scheduled day which left everything outdoors soaking wet. But that did not seem to bother T and M, they went right to work. In a short amount of time they had all six zones almost ready for the summer. As they checked each sprinkler head they found a few of the 22 year old rotors needed replacement. Again, it didn't take long digging in the mud to remove and replace these rotors. Both men were very knowledgeable about the system requirements, good workers (I couldn't say that they were "clean" after all that digging around in the mud ) and friendly...just the kind you want to do work for you. It's on my list to give them a call next fall to winterize my system, I just hope it isn't as wet then. read more

Our experience with AWDIS Irrigation was a good one. We left a message after work asking someone to return our call to schedule a quote. We expected to get a call back the next day since it was after hours, but they called a short time later. Since Kareem was finishing another job nearby, he asked if he could stop by when he was finished. He was very professional, walked the property and gave us an estimate. The next day the plumbing company he uses contacted us to come over and give us a quote for installing a second water meter for the sprinkler system. Both quotes were very reasonable so we scheduled installation, which was able to happen 2.5 weeks later. On the day of install, the plumber showed up on time as did Kareem. They got started immediately. We let them know that we didn't think Miss Dig properly marked all the utility lines in our yard. We tried to help them locate our cable line, but couldn't find it. Unfortunately, the line did get cut. However, Kareem was able to put a temporary patch on it and we called Xfinity to schedule them to permanently fix the line another day. Miss Dig also incorrectly marked the gas line, causing that to get a small cut as well. Kareem called the gas company and they sent guys out to repair the line very quickly. Even when these things happened, Kareem and his helper kept working in other areas of the yard to keep the job going. Neither of these things were their fault. We will be submitting a complaint to Miss Dig because this was their fault for not properly marking all the utility lines. On the second day of the install, Kareem and his helper came an hour earlier than they usually do to accommodate us going out of town in the afternoon. They even continued to work through a mostly rainy morning and finished very closely to the estimated time they gave us. Kareem showed my husband how to operate the system and made sure our questions were answered. He even instructed us to call early in the fall to have the system shut down since it's a new install and they can make sure everything is working properly before the weather gets too unpredictable. We will continue to use this company for start up and shut down of the system. We were very impressed with Kareem and would highly recommend AWDIS to anyone who is thinking of installing a sprinkler system! read more
