My husband wanted me to stop by today.. Went to the drive thru.. first I noticed there was no menu board, (I did look up online before I stopped) I picked the Philly Steak with fries.. and an expresso milkshake. The food was hot, and to me tasted okay, ( just not what I expected) The portions was large, although for what I bought I thought a spendy for takeout and how it is bagged. The lady that waited on me was very nice as well as the young man who brought the food to me. The outside around restaurant was clean. I would recommend they should either have a menu board on outside or at least a to go menu for those that don't have a way to look it up on line. Otherwise, I might try this place again in the future. read more

I usually go through Rainer 3 days a week, and initially I was beyond pleased with the food and service. Ginny, the cook, came out to get my order while sitting in line. Being in the restaurant business the majority of my life, she definitely put a smile on my face. Unfortunately it's gone down hill. Ive ordered a specific breakfast sandwich 4 times, and always on a biscuit. Ive gotten exactly what I ordered once, ONCE!!! Rainier wake up and smell the Indian cuisine. The owner of this business, J, has remained the owner under the disguise of changing family investors. He treats his employees horribly, verbally abusive to women. The food has declined due to his leadership, cutting corners, not paying vendors, not paying employees owed overtime, health department should drop in. Cooking food in his store and walking to coffee stand. He has been remodeling and making changes, dishonest to employees that he is changing this as a strictly Indian menu. Rainier you have three other hard working businesses in town, take your coffee business to them. In and out across the street knows how to cook and has original recipes from Rainier Pizza. read more

We stopped in for pizza on the way back to portland. This place was recommended by a local. We ordered a combination and waited a long time in the car for it. The pizza wasn't too bad. It was a bit doughy but flavorful. The toppings were a bit scant but the combination of flavors made up for it. It was a decent 7 of 10. read more

They used to be great. Ever since the Indian man (idk his name) took over and changed the menu, any American style food is absolute trash, like the shell in the parking lot can make better shit, the Indian food is the absolute bottom shelf out of all the Indian food I've tried across this and other continents, and there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO customer service now. Service is absolute garbage. They forget items in your bag and they don't answer the phone when you wanna call and place an order.. the voicemail so they're calling number tells you please call back as soon as possible if they don't answer you can call back 14 times and they still won't answer same with their espresso call number won't answer. They screwed themselves out of a $300 group order because they don't know how to give customer service so I guess rainier city will continue to get my unwaivered business, across the street from them. Sucks bc it'd be nice to have indian food available but with how slow that place is I refuse to put in large group orders at the window. The food is bottom shelf food services of America. I want to support this small business. If they choose better quality ingredients I think they could be a great place to eat. An example is their chicken burger. It is a compressed patty that often has gristle. The breakfast croissant is oversized with a smallish amount of egg that is usually overcooked. One thing that is fantastic is their breakfast burrito. read more

First off when I eat pizza its like cheating on my wife. I have to sneak and hide just to get a taste of my favorite food!!! After having a super pizza crave I kept searching around for a nice piece of pie. I tried so many places around me and kept finding greasy heavy setting in the belly stuff that just didn't settle the crave, but would send me to the toilet for a good time to read out bible chapters of god's wrath. One day I saw this little thing on the side of the road and just thought I would give it a whirl, what could be the harm. Well low and behold, I picked up the best pizza pie I have had!!!! They have cured my symptoms of pizza deprivation. Soft crust that has a distinct taste with seasoning that has no rival! I absolutely love this place. I have had almost everything on the menu. Burgers, pizza, burritos, sandwiches, sides and the fish and chips. Plus the guy that works there watches all the same shows as me as well. These guys do a great job. Update: For the first time my son was telling me his food was Yucky. He has always eaten the food from here and loved when we got food here. I inspected his kids quesadilla and there was no oil or crispness to the flour tortilla. It was microwaved. My food was great as always and so was my wife's but I don't expect to pay for something a 15 yr old stoner would make. Luckily I had some tortillas in the fridge but the whole point was to not cook or have dirty dishes. I took off 2 stars since I was a little shocked by a microwaved cheese quesadilla. I don't know the whole story but it appears Jenny is no longer the owner and whoever is running the kitchen, HAS NO BUSINESS IN A KITCHEN!!!! My wife and I stopped there yesterday for lunch and a coffee. Coffee was great but I was served the worst Italian club I've e very had! One big flat piece of wilted lettuce ,sauce, a few tiny pieces of pepperoni and mostly bread. My wife ordered a Turkey crescent club and got a thin, white bread sandwich with mayo and one thin slice of turkey. I ate mine and was too pissed off to complain. It would have ended badly! The lady at the window was really nice and had them make my wife a new sandwich. She didn't eat it til the next day but when she did, again, a tiny , thin slice of turkey and FRICKEN RAW BACON!!!! WTF!!!. There's a new "indian" menu and clearly they have no clue whatsoever how to cook!!! I feel bad if Jenny is still the owner but if she is, she needs to know how bad the food is here! Hopefully it doesn't ruin her reputation in the food service business. Service and coffee are still great but for the food......ZERO STARS!!!! read more

Been here a couple times but my first time trying the pizza. Over all it wasn't horrible. Wasn't cooked in the middle and I live to far into the woods to drive it back so cooked it the rest of the way at home. Skimpy on the toppings. I'll try again eventually. read more

Wow. Amazing little eatery! I'm from San Diego and WOW, this place is AMAZING. What a hidden gem.

First, I would like to say that I really miss how this place was run. Because if they messed up, they would fix it. Not make an excuse. The best thing about this place is that it is in Rainier, and it's next to the schools. So, if you live in Rainier, you've got a place to get some quick snacks. The next thing id like to say is that they can not make coffee. At all. If you ask for extra hot, you get it like it's been sitting there for about 10 minutes. You NEVER get what you ask for. There are a couple of people that will make what you want, but if they are not working, you're screwed. As for food.. I will say that their main source of income is probably from the kids at school, because since the owners changed out, I don't enjoy coming here anymore. It's too bad. Pizza and food are fantastic. Customer service is on point! The two star review is for the coffee. Not for the quality but for the fact that any coffee over 16oz literally only has 2 shots in it. Being ripped off and paying extra for a bigger drink only to be paying for extra milk. Pretty ridiculous price at .50 cent per extra shot and an extra dollar for a shot of white coffee!?!??! Holly crap! Yeah, it's like that. Unassuming old gas station converted into a haven for uber good pizza in rural Wa. Just moved to Rainier and have now eaten this pizza twice in one week. Sue makes the best drinks in the area, well unless you love burned tasting coffee then you can stay with Starbucks or if your a rot your teeth out with sugar then Cafe Elite is right up your alley. If your looking for a drink that you actually sip to enjoy because your sad when it's gone but looking forward to keep coming back then look no further. The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the owners put little to no money back into the store. Recently moved into this little town of rainier. I was hoping for a good food place and sure enough I found it! Love their americaunos and all their food as been wonderful. Ive had their mushroom swiss burger, my mom had their cheese burger and my dad had their monstrous burger made the mushroom n swiss way, it was huge!! I've also had, multiple times, their veggie delight sandwich and I put pesto on there instead of marinara sauce and its the best!! Came here based on reviews within the area while visiting and friend in Rainier, and I am glad I did! The menu offers a huge variety of items from burritos, sandwiches, and creative burgers to pizza and the drinks menu is phenomenal! The Barista does an excellent job creating very unique coffee, soda and fruit flavored beverages of all kinds, in more flavors than you can imagine. The Giant Burrito is no joke, excellent hearty choice. The pizza crust has a distinctively unique taste and consistency, more on the pan style/soft side, the sauce options are a plus. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had but it was pretty darn good and fresh baked. Would definitely return when back in town. Especially for their coffee drinks! read more

OMG wow! Wish I would habe checked this place out sooner. We stopped here for breakfast today (first time here) on our way home for camping. We were extremely tired and hungry and really didn't feel like sitting in a crowded restaurant. This place was fast and had amazing food and coffee! I had the breakfast biscuit with sausage and my husband had the breakfast burrito. Both were so good and my coffee (The Swirl) was probably one of the best coffees I've ever had. They have a pretty big menu for such a small place, so we will be back to check out some other items. Looking forward to trying the Rueben, The Jalapeño burger, and their pizza! read more

Very cozy little place with great food at great prices! Don't let the view from the road scare you away - there's a bunch of dead gas pumps in front, and the building looks pretty old and small. Well, it IS small - the only seating inside is 6 bar stools against the window. If the weather permits, there's lots of seating outside. But the food is really good and crazy good prices!! As always, Anne and I shared - I got just the basic Bacon and Eggs and Anne the Breakfast Burrito with sausage. Not complicated food - just simple "home cooking" is what it is. The burrito wasn't at all heavy or greasy, but rather - dare I say it? - delicate! Wonderful flavors and assembled very nicely. My bacon and eggs were just what I expected. The service and atmosphere are so welcoming as well! Very sweet counter service in an overall cozy (but tiny!) space. Note that they do not have a real bathroom - just a "porta-potty" out back - that might be a factor for some folks so thought it should be mentioned. Great little roadside food stop when passing through Ranier, especially if you're after great food and low prices - bring the kids and just eat in the car!! read more

I am sad to have to write this review because my family loves to stop here and get burgers together. However, they were not wearing a mask at the drive through. I understand that they operate in a small town but if you are in the food service industry you have to keep the safety of your customers in mind. Ironically they had a sign in their window asking customers to wear a mask. This pandemic is serious and should be taken as such by the owners. Called in an order for 2 sandwiches. Took a nice short drive for a pickup. When we arrived 20 minutes later the food wasn't ready, we were told 10 more minutes. After 25 more minutes I decided to go in and get my money back. At the same time they were taking my food to my husband in the car. They said they had been busy, even though they weren't now, but if they were busy they should have told us it would be longer. We try to support local businesses, but 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches is ridiculous! The food is good, but the service needs to be worked on! read more
