Great food! I ordered the breakfast croissant with bacon and the cowboy burrito. The burrito would've been enough to fill me up.

Clubhouse sandwich with Fries Looks and tastes yummy!

Always a great spot for a nice variety of prepared food, coffee, espresso, and shakes! I've frequented this restaurant for over 30 years. Jenny and Rex are the proprietors who show the love and care that owner operators provide. Club sandwich was awesome. Tasty, just the right variety of items and nicely toasted bread cut into easy-eating wedges.

Their pizza is the best around compared to Farelli's or Papa Murphy's . They offer military discount too

A Pizza Pilgrimage Worth Every Mile…read more If you're a true pizza lover, drop everything and make your way to Wilkeson, WA--because The Carlson Block isn't just a restaurant, it's a revelation. Nestled in a beautifully restored 100-year-old building, this wood-fired pizzeria delivers an experience that's as soulful as it is delicious. From the moment you step inside, the warm wood interiors and sunlight streaming through the windows set the tone for something special. But it's the pizza--oh, the pizza--that steals the show. I've tried every single pie on the menu, and I can say without hesitation: these are the best pizzas I've ever had. The sourdough crust is a masterpiece--crackly on the outside, chewy on the inside, with a tang that only comes from true fermentation artistry. Each topping combination is thoughtfully crafted, from the earthy mixed mushroom with roasted garlic to the house-made sausage and pesto that bursts with flavor. Yes, there may be a wait. Yes, they sometimes sell out of dough. But that's just part of the charm. It's a place that honors quality over quantity, and the payoff is unforgettable. Even the ice cream--made in tiny batches--is a hidden gem. If you're lucky enough to snag a pint of their summer peach, consider it a bonus miracle. The Carlson Block isn't just a meal--it's a destination. A celebration of craft, community, and culinary passion. I'd give it six stars if I could.

The service counter young lady was very friendly & easy to give out my order, even offered a glass for water while I waited. While waiting, although only customer there at first, as new customers came in, I felt that old family or friends vibe in my youth going out for pizza. Back then we usually ate there, not take home except for left overs if there was any. I usually tune out with some music on my smartphone & headset but the music they were playing had such a nice fresh vibe, I even "Shazam"d some of the songs & purchased one of the songs thru iTunes for later, asked the young man I ordered the 2nd pizza from where the music was coming from & he thought it was some a playlist streamed thru Spotify. Every song I heard was a banger for me, although unfamiliar, the song I got was "Young Lady, You're Scaring Me" (lol) by Ron Gallo. Compared to to other pizza joints, this is my absolutely favorite, the wood fire pizza is the best, the staff are all very friendly & hard working, I've even talked with the owners in the past & they are consious on food quality & customer service, and their establishment is very welcoming, I love the covered outdoor dining if I ever need the room for my big family of kids & grandkids, and who doesn't love their wood fire cinnamon rolls?

They do bring your pizza to the table. I order their cider and got the Mountain Dude pizza that has Canadian bacon, pepperoni, bacon, pineapple and herbs. 12" for $25. Seems a bit high but the pizza itself was delicious. Enjoyed it there and enjoyed it again as leftovers. Lots of choices for pizza which can be overwhelming but there's a pizza for everyone. Place seemed friendly where everyone knew each other.
