Melanie and Patrick saved the day! My online order accidentally went to their Olympia location instead of Yelm. Melanie solved it by calling Olympia and having it switched while Patrick quickly made my order. The food here is already off the hook but this kind of customer service is just above and beyond. It's cozy and cute inside. Good vibes. Always clean. But none of that matters if they don't take care of their customers. Melanie and Patrick certainly did. First rate!

Dessert- drowning in hot espresso, where's my spoon?!

Outside dining is wonderful & fresh air is welcoming. Our service was very welcoming. Appetizers of flat bread - yum.

My best friend and I went here to enjoy their lunch special. We walked and were greeted and was asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We chose outside (there isn't a lot of roomy seating choices inside so outside was the best for that time). The lady gave us a water pitcher and menus. We decided on doing the pasta and salad for our lunches. It fell within the lunch prices and looked and sounded pretty good too. When she came back she took our food order. Carbonara and a house salad and a vinaigrette dressing (when ordering the salad the waitress asked us what dressing we would like. Proceeded to give us options like a green goddess which she said was the best one and few other choices. The pasta came out right after the salads. It was pretty tasty.) Pesto Pasta and a side house salad with green goddess dressing. (I had chosen the green goddess dressing since she rated it so highly and everything did come out in good timing. The salads then more water and our pastas. There was nothing wrong with the food.. ) Until our bill came back and we both looked and realized that the prices were a bit different. Both of us were charged extra for the salad dressing we chose. We weren't told that the different salad dressings would be an upcharge. And some of the pastas were also an upcharge. When we asked the waitress she replied that if we just chose the oil and vinegar supplied on the table that it would've stayed within the lunch prices. Also, that she wished the different salad dressing prices would be printed on the menu. We went over the prices again, paid, and left. It was a nice day to enjoy food outside. Just a bit thrown back about the upcharges. They either need to tell the customers that their choices are more or print it on the menu. Otherwise, it's would've been a 5 rating.

1st time trying to this place & in not going to lie, it took 2 hours from the the time we entered until we left. Some of the food was good but, the service 2/10. It took 30 min for the server to just walk up to our table and ask for our drinks. I understand they were busy, but don't be taking in more orders and customers if you can't serve the ones inside the restaurant. The pizza was a little over cooked and burnt to where it curled up! The pasta was good. $100 bill a little pricey. Just wish we would have had better service. The server just got our drinks and food order then someone brought our food. Then after that, maybe saw her once when we needed our check. Idk if we will be back bc it was def a long wait

Living on the east coast there was no comparison of pizza til I found Pizzeria La Gitana. Nice chewy thin crust; homemade pasta and Tiramisu!!! And wait staff is great!!!

I will start off with saying that although the food was good it was significantly overpriced. We paid $184.96 including 20% tip for 2 people. The pros: Delicious food. Good Service Pleasant atmosphere Our host was wonderful The cons: It's significantly overpriced. While the food is good the prices charged are "premium" and the food received just doesn't match the cost. I am saying this as someone who cooks "everything" from scratch including making my own pasta. Another example - a bottle of Lambrusco they carry costs $12-15 which makes a standard 5oz glass cost about $3. They charged $13 per glass! I completely understand markups, it's normal to do in the restaurants, but 300% + markup is a bit much. The atmosphere of the restaurant while lovely doesn't match it's high price. For example - black plastic table covers that look unappealing. I wouldn't have an issue with it if my final bill wasn't so high.

We finally made it in a few weeks ago, and now I understand why they are always so busy. The food and service are absolutely top-notch! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. Honestly, we were almost shocked that this place is in Tacoma and not Beverly Hills! It has such a classy feel while still being warm and down-to-earth. We had a wonderful table outside on the patio, and you could catch the sweet aromas drifting out from the kitchen. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and the atmosphere had such a cozy, welcoming feel, almost like being invited to a friend's home. Bradley greeted us right away, and I knew I wanted to start with a nice Cabernet. He offered some wonderful suggestions and helped make the experience even better. We started with the Polpo (octopus), and it was fantastic! For our entrees, I ordered the Agnolotti (pear, Gorgonzola and pecan-filled pasta with maple and sage brown butter). Just reading the description on the menu had me sold, and it absolutely did not disappoint. My husband ordered the Capesante. I didn't get to try it, but judging by the fact that he cleaned his entire plate, I'm pretty sure it was amazing! And then there's Bradley. He was attentive, funny, knowledgeable, and an absolute joy to have as our server. He really added to the entire experience. Between the incredible food, beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding service, this restaurant is definitely worth the visit. We finally understand what all the buzz is about, and I can't wait to go back!

The upstairs is small and intimate, which gives the whole place a cozy, unique feel. Our waiter this time was a young gentleman who was incredibly friendly and did a great job! Three of us ordered Coors Lights in bottles, and he brought them out ice cold with a chilled glass to pour them into. When we ordered a second round, he let us know he had just put some more in the freezer, so it would be a few minutes. That little extra step made a difference...we'd much rather wait a few minutes for an ice-cold beer than have it brought out warm! I ordered the spaghetti with their house-made Bolognese sauce and added a meatball, and WOW. The sauce had the perfect combination of slight sweetness, a little spice from the sausage, and that tangy tomato flavor. So good! And I'm usually not a huge fan of restaurant meatballs because they can be tough or rubbery, but this one was soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. Sean got the lasagna and absolutely loved it! Our friends who invited us out ordered the steak and spaghetti Bolognese, and everyone was happy with their meals. The steak was cooked exactly how it was requested, and the quality of the food for the price was really good. Overall, Pellegrino's is just a great little place. Warm, inviting atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food, and a fun, intimate setting that feels a little different from your typical Italian restaurant. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a place to enjoy a good meal with friends. We'll definitely be back!

We usually try to eat here whenever we're visiting the gorgeous place called Gig Harbor, and yet, this Yelp elite had not reviewed it before. The food is out of this world excellent! In fact, it's just like being in Naples or Gaeta, etc. Chef Michele "Mike" Simone and his wife, Azusa run a tight ship here, and it reflects not only in the food but also in how the place is usually packed with families and locals and tourists. Simone also comes out often and goes from table to table, talking to his happy customers and checking in... it is a joy to see and makes it feel homey. The place is decorated salon-style with tons of Italian wall hangings, sail ships, giant spoons, etc.; it's as Italian as Italian can get! The staff is friendly and efficient, and there's ample free parking at both restaurant and street. There's also outdoor sitting. I had the eggplant parmesan, which was enormous in size and super tasty. There's also a kids menu (not on the main printed menu) and those portions are also gigantic! Love Italian food? In our opinion, they have the best smash burgers around, and they are consistently delicious every single time we go. Sean always gets the Bleu Cheese Smash with tots, while I rotate between the Deluxe Smash with fries and the Chicken Caesar Wrap. I honestly love both, so I can never decide which one I want--which is why I just rotate! We also really love the taproom side and all of the beer options they have. One of our favorites is the Juice Tornado #28, which is a hazy IPA, and I especially love trying their different sours. They're one of the few places we go that consistently has sour beers, so that's a big bonus for me! We come here at least once a month, and we've also had the chance to attend the Zane Lamprey show here two years in a row, which was always a total blast. Last night, we brought our daughter and had some friends meet us there, and we had such an enjoyable evening. The food was great, the service was great, and the atmosphere is always great. Whether we're stopping in for burgers and a beer or coming for an event, 507 is always a good time. Definitely one of our favorite spots in Yelm!
