I've tried Rainbow Pizza on a couple of locations, but have just not a fan of this style of pizza with a super thick crust. However, they have an extensive menu, and I haven't tried their Greek dishes. The last time I had Rainbow Pizza, we called in ahead and time and picked up our order. Wow! This place is amazing. It's a huge restaurant that has a huge menu loaded with photos! The 14 Of us had lunch here. We ordered two extra large piZZas, a double order of calamari and a large ceasar salad along with a pitcher of beer and root beer and assorted sodas. The pizzas were so good and the crust was amazing. We ordered the most popular no. 2 and the other pizza was half of no. 12 and the other half was pesto, chicken and mushrooms. The slices were so huge I only had the pesto and it was excellent. I'd like more pesto but there was Large slices of Chicken and mushrooms all Over the pIZZA. YUM! The fried calamari was crispy and tasty with that great sauce. The ceasar salad had a lot of shavings of Parmesan and dressed perfectly! I can't wait to come back!! I would say I haven't had such a delicious one since the Oakland Greek festival...it was that delicious! We also had a half order of Greek Salad which was huge : romaine, feta, onions, kalamata olives with a tangy vinaigrette Service is pretty casual...find a table, take a huge menu, seat yourself and a waitress will take your order...food delivered and check comes...fine by me! It did take awhile for our dishes to come but it came piping hot so it's worth the wait! My Greek pizza was very good but maybe next time I will opt for no olives because the olives were massive and it looked odd to me. Bar none - my favorite pizza place. Keep in mind they have so much more but I am personally stuck on the #2 Greek pizza. That has been a favorite of ours for ever - always consistent and always so satisfying. Dine in or take out - both options are good ones. The dine in experience is lively, the people are friendly, service is always excellent and the food is even better! If you can dine in - do it! However - we get take out often and never have I been disappointed in the #2 Greek. For take out we typically go with pizza - for dine in we try all of the wonderful options available. They have a huge menu! Give this place a try if you haven't been here - you will not regret it. Always packed - always good and always worth the trip! HUGEEEE EVERYTHING HERE! Flavorful pizzas, pastas, and Greek options! Come with a large group or unevitably take home what you ordered for the next 3 meals. Rainbow Pizza is located in the quaint Crystal Springs Shopping Center. Parking isn't too bad in the center, and there is more in the back of the restaurant. I came on a Saturday night and only had to wait about 10 minutes, happily (or unhappily if starving) in the warm smell of pizza in the oven. Though walking in, the place looks pretty narrow and small, there are actually plenty of tables in the back for small and large parties. The wait is normally for them to set up the table and I guess prevent overwhelming the wait staff. Wooow. When I first read a Yelp Review of this place about how large their menus were, I thought it was only because of their large variety of foods (American, Greek, Italian, and more)! But the menu itslef was LITERALLY HUGE. The waiter couldn't even find room to place utensils on the table! The drinks were also in huge cups as well. After flipping through huge page after huge page to see what there was, we ultimately got the Mozzarella Sticks, a small The Number One Pizza (pepperoni, mushrooms, salami), the Linguini Pescadores (seafood), and a Gyro Sandwich. The Mozzarella Sticks were textbook--cheesy, warm, stringy, and crispy. The marinara had nice chunks of tomato as well for dipping. The pizza here actually incredibly flavorful. The crust is a bit thicker than other places, but makes a nice tick and crispy vehicle to hold their generous amount of toppings. For even a small, the amount of dough on that thing could comfortably feed 3; 2 if you are starving! If you like seafood pasta and lots of it, the Lunguini Pescadores was spot on. It probably could feed like 4 people! There was a generous and fresh portion of calamari, shrimp, and mussels on the dish! It also comes with a good amount of garlic bread which was good if you like sourdough and parmesan cheese (though slightly thick and chewy). Finally, I ordered a Gyro Sandwich with a side of Greek Salad. The portion of lamb and beef overflowed my soft and warm pita! I liked the yogurt sauce, though I had to take out some red onions (I can't personally take too much). I barely made a dent but it was a delicious lunch for the next day at work! Don't feel bad about getting things to-go. I think by now they know and expect it from everyone. You can tell by the piles and piles of takeout boxes when you first enter as well. Overall, the food and service was good here. You could tell the waiters were working hard and super busy. The food was all pretty good (not spectacular but great!). I would honestly come back just to show people the crazy portions and menus here; it's like a Greek Bucca di Beppo, but family-owned and crazier! Food is good but noise level and ambiance are the worst. Take-out is fine, but after two horrible experiences eating in, we'd never return for dinner on-site. Asked for booth up front and told no, for large parties only. Screaming children racing around the room, adult parties yelling over screaming children, plus find your own spoon, find your own (late) warm food, and pay at the front to avoiding endless waiting for a check. Walked by the booths on the way out, occupied by parties of 2,3, 3, and 2. So much for large parties only. The relief upon exiting into a quiet night was tremendous! The food here will fill you up, I am still so full from lunch I cannot eat dinner. A great place to go after doing a heavy work out and starving for protein! I only order the #2 Greek American, super thick pizza with kids of toppings. I literally eat one slice and done. This is my favorite pizza, hands down. I've tried some others here but #2 is my 'go to'. The service is always awesome, like family. The salads are good too and I enjoyed the baklava when dining in which has been years ago so I obviously order to go even in the pre virus days.
