The sushi burrito was really good! Better compared to sushiritto in California. It had more flavors and a better deal for the price as well. The pop corn chicken was good and had a pinch of lemon taste. If you are going to Rain Cafe I would recommend the sushi burrito! It's a must! If you don't like raw fish they have a few selection of sushi burritos. The bubble tea is not as good. Oasis has better bubble tea than Rain Cafe. The bubble tea is not so sweet and the boba kinda sticky. I would recommend getting a different drink. I would probably come back to Rain Cafe for the Sushi Burrito. read more

The menu has a really great selection and the espresso is quite good! Food and drinks arrive quickly. The atmosphere is modern but relaxed. They have board games and a piano, plenty of seating, lots of comfortable booths which is great for studying or socializing. If you're planning on hunkering down here to get some work done you should know that the restrooms are not located inside the cafe. They are down a hallway and shared by other businesses in the complex. Bring a friend to watch your stuff while you go. The music in here can be too loud to focus so bring your headphones to tone it down. read more

Went there for the first time on a Sunday late afternoon. Plenty of parking out front and you can do grocery shopping right after. The atmosphere is very nice, kinda dim, not too loud - perfect study place or place to hang out. There are some musical instruments there that guests can use to sing/play. Which was pretty cool to see! We ordered 1 black milk tea without boba, 1 double double milk tea with boba - both iced. Let me say the black milk tea was really bitter...not to our taste at all...and they still added boba even though we asked for none. The double double is basically espresso, it was my first time trying...wasn't too bad I guess, tasted like expresso. I have had my fair share of milk teas in various places and this is definitely ranked on the low side. We also ordered 1 spicy popcorn chicken nuggets, minced pork and rice, and the rainbow cake. Popcorn chicken came out in a cute little bucket...but unfortunately not spicy...lacked in flavor. Minced pork and rice was really good actually aside from the fact that they didn't do a good job getting out the spices/seasoning "wood chips"...at a few small pieces of it in the process, therefore ruined our appetite to eat more. The rainbow cake to me is not q cake...I usually think of cakes as nice and fluffy...I am not gonna lie, it looks pretty BUT it tasted very plain. It's literally unflavored crepes that are colored. Impressed with the way it looks but not the taste...and at $8 it could be waaaay better. It wasn't too crowded when we went so we found a place right away. The food was brought to us shortly, so that was good. I am curious to try the ramen burger but honestly I don't think I would go back. Unless if I am meeting/hanging out with friends. It was the first time coming to seattle and I absolutely love this cafe!!! The drinks look so aesthetic and taste wonderful I also tried the ramen and I would totally recommend the spicy soy ramen. They also have crispy popcorn chicken and a huge king fried sushi the smoothies (strawberry/mango/avocado) all tasted refreshing and it pairs well with the lychee jelly and mango pudding. The sushi burrito was also very yummy! I was so surprised that this cafe had so many delicious food! Hopefully this review helps those who want to come and eat at this cafe :) read more

Good food but limited seats. Students come here to eat and study, so when they are done with the eating they remain in the seats that are compatible for eating. The lower desks and chairs are there for studying purpose and not suitable for eating, yet people don't give a damn about anyone else don't sit there and take the suitable seat for eating to study instead. My best suggestion would be to change all seats to be suitable for eating so I don't feel like flipping my food on some careless, selfish studying customers which also ruin the mood for good food in me. read more

Perfect place to come and study! I know nowhere else that stays open as late as here. Gets pretty noisy but usually I don't mind. I recommend finding a booth to study if possible because they have outlets on the wall beside them. It can can pretty busy though, might be hard to find a spot. Another tip, during cold seasons, try to get a spot away from the door. Every time someone opens it, cold air blows in and gets hecka chilly. No complaints about their food or drinks. Pretty average. I ordered the soft shell crab burrito and the Brown sugar milk tea. They were delivered thru GrubHub (I did not order directly thru Grubhub). So first thing, the burrito was good. There was spice and the crab was still a little crunchy by the time I received it. Just wish there was a little more crab for all that rice. 2ndly, the Brown Sugar Milk Tea wasn't as sweet as I requested (100% sweet). It was more like 60-75%. I think if I added Boba it would have been a little better. And lastly, the delivery was fine except that they didn't drop off in the correct location I specifically requested. What's the point of adding that when ordering if it's not going to be done? Paying the total of $27 that added all the fees AND paying a tip was not worth it. Review update update Those new lids didn't stick around very long. The old lids are back and I don't think they are leaky anymore! Review update: They got NEW LIDS! They don't leak and are pretty darn sturdy. The worst cup and lid system for bubble tea I've ever been so unlucky to encounter... The first time I came here my to go cup was a little leaky at the top and got all over the cup holder in the car. I thought it was a fluke but lo and behold I came back probably 4 months later for another to go cup with a friend and the darn thing was leaking all over our hands before we even got to the car. The cafe overall is very spacious and a nice little place for your average Asian seattlite. A good mix of everything from ramen to rainbow layer cake etc but damn those cups...the bbt is ok. Don't be fooled by the wide range of pastry photos on yelp-- I've come to this cafe 4 separate times for a nutella cake and each time they only have 3-5 pastries available-- none of which I have wanted to try. Yesterday, they had a matcha cake, a durian cake, a lava cake, and a chocolate roll-- again, I didn't really want any of them. I finally got the chocolate roll and it was very dry and tasteless. I've only been here once for a togo drink order, which was the Jasmine milk tea with no topping. Ordered at the counter and for togos, they give a number counter thing which will vibrate when your order is ready at the other side to the left but they should make that more clear where to order and where to pick up as there would be others that would be clueless. I get bubble tea here with some frequency just because I eat at Master Chef a lot. And following a spicy, szechuan meal, bubble tea always seems like a great idea. However, every time I get bubble tea here I feel very "meh". The tea isn't that strong, the creamer they use doesn't add much to the tea, the boba has different consistency each time. Plus their takeout container has a lid, not the sealed top like every other place, so I always end up getting some bubble tea on my hands. They also charge you if you do no ice (seriously?) and their prices are kind of high to begin with. Haven't really eaten any food, so can't weigh in on that. I'm so disgusted with my experience here. Firstly, the service was terrible. The man who took my order was on his phone the whole time I was ordering. Gave me a notification buzzer thing even though I was the last and only person standing by the counter. Handed me my drink while still on his phone too. I like this place. It's super urban in a suburban setting. The service is awesome and the place is cozy. The cookie dough milk tea shake is AMAZING!! A definite must have! They also offer nice variety of French inspired pastries along with smoothies, bubble teas, and coffee. I tried the oxtail soup and chai bubble tea. The soup was great, good portion, served with a side of rice. The bubble tea was a bit sweet for me but I did noticed after the fact I could have adjusted the sweetness. Waited 30 minutes to get all our food: mozerella sticks, popcorn chicken, black milk tea with boba, and taro latte I would probably only go back to get the spicy popcorn chicken which is coated in panko. The mozerella sticks came out lukewarm and had a very salty batter. Milk tea and taro latter were both average. I think their menu is too big for them to handle when it gets busy on weekends. Either that or they may need to hire more workers because the cashier would stop taking orders in order to go make drinks or check on the kitchen. 15 minutes into waiting for our food, I saw a huge group of people go up to the pick up counter. I know it is called a "cafe" but the only cafe attribute to this place is the seating since I see many students here studying around the outer area, which are booths as well as a few small gathering tables.
