Came during October and they had some really nice decorations for Halloween. I didn't know what to get but the "soursop" looked good - turns out it's a soursop roasted oolong. The tea flavor was good but the soursop wasn't evident in the drink as it was just soursop pieces in the drink. The soursop tasted a little on the bad side so I didn't finish my drink. Their drinks are also a little bit on the pricey end. Staff were super friendly and what caught my eye was a self serve and see prep ramen station. I think it would be a cool spot to hangout and snack. Overall, things were okay and I think I'd come by, try something else, and update my review if there's any changes.

Ramen station

I love Mustache! I've been going to their original location on Millet Speedway for years, so I had to check out their new spot. The aesthetic here is different but beautiful, with lots of plants, their signature color, and a clean, modern design. I ordered the Salted Egg Yolk Milk Tea, and it was delicious. It's definitely an acquired taste but so rich and unique. This location also has a ramen bar, which is a nice addition, though they don't offer the hole-punch loyalty cards like the original location where you can earn a free drink after a certain number of purchases. The staff was super friendly, drinks came out quickly, and there's plenty of parking. Highly recommend checking it out!

Staff is kind. Helpful. Funny. Spot is busy, well designed, and offer GOOD flavors to choose from. We love the MangoNada and the coco matcha refresher a lot, but always try new things during our visits! We like this spot for group hangs, and the location is superb! Only bummer sometimes they forget to mention the stamp card, and I miss out on my stamp!

I love this place and love their guava smoothie, it's my favorite. They have some really nice Asian drinks like guava and soursop. My guava smoothie with boba (yes I love my fruity drink with boba it's so much fun) so tasty and refreshing, and you can adjust the sugar level. For me 50% sugar is perfect. They have such a big menu that every time I walk in it feels like I'm making a life choice. The staff is always friendly and happy to answer questions. My ideal weekend is going to Triumph Valley for dim sum and then coming here to pick up a smoothie for dessert!

Cantalope green Tea, with boba

I like the cantalope green tea. I did not specify sweetness and yet it was just right. The decor in here is nice and it's a good place to get some work done if you bring headphones. They also have a DIY ramen bar. My only suggestion with the ramen bar is that it would be nice if they had a simple machine that dispensed hot water. The way it works is that there's a device dedicated to setting up your ramen. It's kind of hard to explain. But I will say it's for sure not intuitive or easy to use if it's your first time seeing it. I will still give five stars since the workers here are nice.

Wintermelon Roasted Oolong

Used to go to the Lynnwood location all the time with friends just to chat, catch up, or play games. Super cool that they've been successful enough to expand. I'd say this location isn't super different from the original. Both locations are in a plaza with ample parking. The Shoreline location feels slightly roomier and less tight. Key difference here is the offering of instant ramen in store. Mustache has a solid drink selection but prices always feel like they're on the higher end. Drinks are also on the sweeter end as a whole. Doesn't help that their sugar level offerings are 0%, 50%, and 100% which is limited compared to other boba spots. For me, 25-30% is my preferred sweet spot so I'm slightly pushed to make a decision here. Wintermelon Roasted Oolong - 冬瓜茶 one of my go-to refreshers in Taiwan always hits the spot. Naturally sweet and light. No different here and comes with some toppings, I believe chia seeds and grass jelly. The oolong however isn't too strong.

Black sesame w cheese foam

Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon. Super cute space - plants, wood furniture, jade green tile provided a warm and cozy aesthetic. One large dining-esque table, with many 2-seat tables along the wall basking in the direct afternoon sun. Really liked this atmosphere, versus the more sterile, white plastic vibe most boba places offer. Super friendly staff, patiently answered our questions. I got a milk tea with black sesame and cheese foam, and I think my friend got a fruit tea. Both quite tasty. They also had a ramen bar (buldak, shin, etc.), if you're feeling something more sodium-heavy. Would definitely come back!

Royal Thai green milk tea with regular boba
Arielle M.

TLDR: quick service, clean place, mixed feelings about the drinks. About $7 per drink - at least 20 oz. I got the Thai green milk tea, which I've only seen at one other place that sells boba in WA (which ironically is also in shoreline), so I had to try it. Sad to say that this one was not my favorite out of the two. I got 50% sweet and it was still too sweet for me, personally. Tried 4 other drinks (the ones my friends got) and the strawberry smoothie was by far my favorite. So creamy and tasted like strawberry ice cream. So much to try on the drink menu AND there's a self-serve instant ramen bar. Topping options are limited but still excited to come back and try it.

Avocado Durian w/boba
Sandra N.

Avocado Durian 50% Sweetness w/Boba - 5/5 Sooooooo good! Smoothie was creamy and flavorful. Boba was chewy and not sweet. Interior and ambiance - 5/5 Japandi style interior. Comfortable chairs and plenty of seating. Good soft music for chill vibes. Price - $~11. A bit pricey but would purchase again. Recommend

New spot for boba, tea, coffee, smoothies, and even DIY ramen bar in this up and coming shopping complex in Shoreline. My friends and I ventured here after dim sum at Triumph Valley and pleasantly surprised by their vast menu. I tried the Avocado Durian smoothie for the first time and it was delicious especially if you're a fan of durian. The staff mentioned that they use fresh avocado and durian too. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area again.

Rose Osmanthus Oolong and Very Strawberry Jasmine Green Tea
Lauren T.

Best fruit bubble tea shop in the greater Seattle area. Every season, they beautifully decorate the space! Truly a fun and calming place to connect with friends. There's also a ramen bar with various additional topping options that I haven't tried yet! So far, I have tried Matcha Coconut, Rose Osmanthus Oolong, Very Strawberry Jasmine Tea, Soursop, and Salted Egg Yolk Foam Coffee. I highly recommend all these drinks. The soursop and very strawberry have yummy bits of fresh fruit pulp. The coconut water in the matcha coconut also tastes fresh from a young coconut.

Strawberry milk tea with boba and Oreo smoothie
Kim V.

I'm a fan! The strawberry milk tea had a good balanced flavor. The strawberry, milk & tea were not overpowering each other which is nice. The tea was also brewed well, it didn't have a strong flavor which could've overshadowed the strawberry. The boba was good too, just a tad too soft for my liking but overall, it had a good bite/chew. I got 50% sugar, but it was still on the sweeter side for me. Next time if I get a drink with boba, I'll get 0% sugar since the boba is already sweet. I'm glad I got 50% sugar though, can just imagine what 100% would be! The oreo smoothie was very tasty!! Another well balanced drink. Personally, I liked their smoothie consistency too- it was smooth, well blended with just the right thickness and not icy. The interior of this shop is inviting. I like the aesthetic/colors, very calm and nice touch with the DIY ramen bar. The merch looked cute too! I was pleasantly surprised that the drinks were brought out to me rather than me picking it up at the counter. I'm glad I live nearby and will for sure come often!

Yet another new indie business has opened in Shoreline! I like this trend as a 23 year resident. This is Mustache Milk Tea's second location. The OG site is further north in Lynnwood, nearly close to Everett! Lovely interior transformation with healthy foliage and interesting seating configurations. Welcoming individual at the counter. Expedient kitchen crew. No one seems phased about the long line. Clearly time spent staffing, training, and prepping have been worthwhile. I got a roasted oolong milk tea with boba. I plan to revisit their Mustache milk tea and try out the rose osmanthus oolong. Two fisted milk tea drinking, lol. Welcome to Shoreline, Mustache Milk Tea!

They have a wide range of banh mi fillings, from the classics to some harder to find options like roast pork, so there's something for everyone. My personal favorite is the crispy roast pork banh mi. The pork has that perfect crackly skin with juicy, flavorful meat underneath. Paired with the pickled veggies, fresh cilantro, and a light spread of mayo on a crusty baguette, it hits all the right textures and flavors. I also love the special banh mi with all the different meats. It's basically the greatest hits lineup with savory cold cuts, pâté, and other cured meats layered together for a rich, satisfying bite every time. It's hearty without being overwhelming, and the balance of fresh and savory components is spot on. And don't skip the drinks. The egg coffee was surprisingly excellent. The Vietnamese coffee base had a deep, bold flavor with that classic slightly bitter edge, and the creamy whipped egg topping added a smooth, lightly sweet contrast. It felt indulgent but still very coffee forward. Overall, this is a great banh mi spot for me with the great variety, tasty sandwiches, and a standout egg coffee to round it all out. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for a quality banh mi.

There were even games available to play if you wanted which would make it fun to hang out there. Since I had never been before, I decided to go with a traditional brown sugar milk. The employee at the register was nice and patient and even helped make a recommendation on the fact that I should go with regular boba pearls over the brown sugar ones they had available. The drink itself was not bad! The sweetness and flavor hit the spot. There wasn't as much customization here as there are at other boba places though. Overall a pretty solid spot!

Still, it exhibits a good sweet flowery and somewhat fruity flavor that somewhat covers up the oolong taste. The amount of additives isn't enough to make the drink taste artificial or chemically, instead it's a nice, but heavily, floral. The ice level is good at 50%, which cools down the drink fully and leaves a couple of ice cubes left floating on top. The sweetness is also pretty balanced at half that allows a bit of a bitterness from the tea to make its way through the osmanthus. The brown sugar boba has a good sweetness level on the exterior thanks to the brown sugar soak. They are strangely not circular at all and instead are almost cuboid in shape, with several flat surfaces on each pearl. The exterior of the pearls are smooth and when my teeth bite through, it feels far too rubbery and leathery in texture and I can almost hear a squeaky sound emanating through my mouth. This does mean that the boba has plenty of bounce, but it's not an entirely enjoyable bounce thanks to the firm leathery-like nature. It's more similar in texture to fresh cheese curds than to traditional boba and I feel like the starch mixture is perhaps adulterated with something other than tapioca flour. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 2.5/5 It's very interesting reading the reviews on this place, with some reviewers complaining about the boba being pebble-like and others complaining that the boba is too soft and disintegrates in the mouth. These are very different ends of the boba texture spectrum, so I guess Boba House really has some work to do to get the consistency down. On a positive note, the owner is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the boba is on the cheaper end for the city.
