Got really bad food poisoning from the salmon and tuna poke. The jasmine tea was good though.

Where do I even start?…read more I feel blessed to live down the street from Fish Guys. You've no doubt heard how killer the poke is, that's why you're here on Yelp. Well, let me tell you - the hype is real! You can't go wrong with any option, but my personal favorite is the spicy salmon. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, my friends. Smoked salmon belly bowl is to die for. Same with the eel. So are ALL of the sushi bombs. Did I mention the smoked salmon mac salad is the undisputed king of mac salads? Don't even get me started on Sal's specials. From the crab rolls, to the Salmon Sinigang - the lunch options just don't miss. All of the smoked salmon is some of the best I've had in my 15 years living in Seattle. Especially the salmon jerky. I put the smoked fish up there with the best in PNW. All of the seafood here is so fresh, no matter what you're looking for you're getting the best the city has to offer. The staff are all amazing at what they do and are so friendly. You can tell they really love what they are doing and that speaks to how great the owners are. Love supporting good businesses. One trip and it won't be long before you have a new go-to take out spot and you'll be rocking fish guys gear. Trust me, just go...now.

Inside, you'll find an amazing selection of fresh seafood, including salmon belly, large fresh prawns, fresh poke, and so many Hawaiian-inspired favorites even tempura batter and other specialty items. I stopped by to pick up some salmon belly to bring home, and I can't wait to cook it! If you're a seafood lover, I definitely recommend adding Seattle Fish Guys to your list.

I visited Ono Poke on a Saturday afternoon to pick up my preorder for Butter Bandit and decided I…read moremight as well also get a bowl of poke. This was at 12:30PM and there was a long line out the door and around the corner, taking almost 30 minutes. I had previously visited on a rainy winter weekday for lunch and there wasn't a line at all. What a difference the day and weather can make! While in line we could see the chefs cutting up ahi fresh right in front. The longer line gave me time to chat with the owner as he was trimming off the skin and other bits. I learned that tuna skin is much tougher than salmon skin so can't be eaten like salmon skin chips. He also said that the trimmed parts can be taken for free if anyone wants them. Apparently they make good crab bait! Medium w/ Rice, Traditional Limu Ahi, Hamachi, Mac Salad ($21.50) - I love the Hamachi poke mix. It's fresh, tender, and buttery fish tossed in a creamy and slightly spicy sauce, filled with little briny pearls and plenty of aromatics giving a super umami bite. The Limu Ahi is very fresh as well - I mean, it's sliced right in front, and there's so much turnover of the food that's it's pretty much guaranteed fresh. The tuna is fresh and tender, but there's noticeably more sinew compared to the hamachi. The Mac Salad is also really good. It's super creamy and the macaroni isn't overcooked so it still has some bite. The rice is unfortunately the weakest item in the bowl. It's a little too dry for my tastes and is only lightly tossed with rice vinegar, giving a tangy flavor. Overall all the poke is fresh, the flavors all meld together into a delightful balanced bite, and the sauces are not overwhelming. Ono Poke definitely serves some great poke! They share parking spots with the rest of the plaza and it's not difficult to find a spot if you're willing to walk just a few extra feet. Went for an oddly timed meal on a Saturday around 4PM and they still had all their poke options. There are about 6-8 tables in the store, but quite a few folks take their meals to go. It's definitely not the cheapest meal option, but the poke is absolutely delicious and the fish is unbelievably fresh I tried the Shoyu Salmon, Spicy Tuna, and the Hamachi; all of them were incredible. The Hamachi is only available on weekends and the fish is so fatty it almost melts in your mouth with the creamy and tangy sauce. The Shoyu Salmon is incredibly succulent and just a classic knocked out of the park with a great balance of fresh, salty, and slightly sweet. I'm normally a tuna hater, but the texture is excellent with a nice bite and great spice level.

This is my fav of all the stop and go sushi/poke places. This actually felt a bit fresher quality. The flavors were great! I'm glad we stopped by here for a quick lunch before our flight home. The guy taking my order was super nice and explained everything. I ended up getting the clamshell 2 fish which was plenty for one person. I ate the whole thing and it was quite hefty too. They had sauces at the counter with mini containers. Overall would eat here again !

It's a small convenience store in addition to the poke shop so there are limited seats available. The mart itself sells of a lot of Asian snacks and drinks. Highly recommend checking this place out for fresh poke stuffed to the brim. They do not skimp out on the fish.

Place is clean and inviting, a bit small but honestly seems like food is fast. As far as the food goes we ordered a katsu donburi and 2 chirashi donburi, the ordering "menu" had options for changes and choices, but I just stuck with a basic orders. We grabbed a table and the girl brought out our drinks, then the katsu came out and the girl apologized for the delay with the chirashi bowls. Few minutes later our chirashi bowls came out and the girl apologize for the delay. Awesome awareness on their part!! As for the food, my boy enjoyed the katsu bowl, as for the chirashi bowls, the fish was at a good cool temperature and the rice was perfectly warm - something that real sushi restaurants understand. For me and my chirashi bowl I don't really care for sushi rice, I prefer plain rice for my donburi, an option I will look for next time we visit - and we will definitely make it a regular stop when we visit Seattle. Various fish was fresh, and in abundance. Nicely done chirashi bowls at a reasonable price.
