Excellent service! Excellent food, had breakfast spinach wrap, hash brown, and a cold brew Coffee with an added shot, splash of almond milk, whipped cream and some caramel drizzle. So good! The place is very cozy has outside seating as well. Will definitely recommend and come back! read more

What do I even say about this place? Did it exist before I left for college? If so, I'm sad I went 18 years without it. It is so, so cute. Their menu is super extensive. They'll even make up requests (Earl Grey latte, anyone?). My only complaint is a lack of seating inside. However, it made for amazing memories when we had to sit outside under an umbrella'd table in the light rain. The manager brought out bags of blankets for everyone sitting outside. I thought that was so charming. My friend and I had a lovely time just sipping our drinks, eating our egg & cheese croissants, watching the rain, all while wrapped up in our blankets. Go when you're in town. read more

It's such a cute little cafe! The coffee they serve is probably the best coffee I've ever had. They also have a really tasty breakfast croissant that they smother in country gravy and it's to die for! Staff are all friendly too and I love feeling like I'm sitting in a little cafe in Europe. read more

Was our first time here and we were greeted with really friendly service! The cafe itself is small inside but has just enough seating space to where it doesn't feel crowded. There is also seating outside as well. It's really nice, quaint, and cozy in there, some nice jazz music was playing as well which I LOVED. I ordered the roast beef and pesto panini with a salted caramel cold brew. The sandwich came with a side of fruit and they were also able to swap the bread for gluten free bread which was amazing! The cold brew was great as well, it was sweet without being overpowering. The menu has lots of options from sandwiches to bowls to waffles, and it advertises breakfast all day. Salsa is also 50 cents per container, they were both pretty flavorful with the green one having a more lime/cilantro taste and the red one having a smoky hot taste. Cafe is located on a street corner with parking on the left side. Would love to come back! read more

Friendly, quaint, and good food. Went with the family and there was something for everyone. Menu is a little intimidating upon entry but the food proved to be awesome. I even ended up eating other people's meals. No upset stomach from a greasy breakfast. Rare around here. Really loved the coffee too. Simple and perfect - well, maybe with less hazelnut syrup next time. Would definitely come back to try out more of the menu. read more

Idk if it's just our luck but everytime we have gone for the last few times they forget to add an item to our food as requested and paid for. We don't realize it until we get home and sucks that we have to check our food before we leave to make sure the order was right. And now I have waited 30 mins for them to prepare a bagel. This is horrible. read more

Hands down, best coffee shop around! The coffee is amazing & the service is exceptional. My favorite drink is on the speciality menu: chai tea latte (hot, iced, or blended- all as equally delicious.) My hubby & I discovered Rail Side a little over a year ago, & have been going ever since (2-3 times/week.) The staff is always super friendly & welcoming, making sure our drinks are made to our individual tastes. They even make you feel loved & appreciated by adding special touches to your drinks (like the picture featured below, on our wedding day.) Highly recommend if you're looking for a delicious coffee and a meal. I've been here a few times since moving to San Dimas and I would recommend you try it out. Dog friendly! We stopped by to have quick meal after we went to Claremont hills wilder hike with our dogs. It was nice place and great staffs. I ordered scone and coffee and my friend ordered chai latte and sandwich. Even we went there rIght before they close the store but they treated us well. Scone was nice and my friend loved her sandwich. We will go back there when we drive by. read more

Wow was this place good. Super cute little spot. We easily found parking which started the experience off well. This is one of those places i've heard about and wanted to try when I was in the area. Well, Saturday was that day. Nearby for a 5k event and needing to pick up a quick breakfast afterwards, we knew were to go. Decorated with the cutest decor, blankets outside if you are cold, and a friendly staff who prepared our food quickly you really can't ask for more. As for food, everything was tasty. It was very satisfying even though when you look at it, it is quite small. I had the breakfast burrito and all the ingredients blended nicely. It was served very hot (to hot to eat at first) but very enjoyable after a few mins of cooling off. I also had the chai latte. They offer small, large and extra large so for someone who always orders a medium, I was confused. I went with the large, but it was ultimately to much for me and the last 1/3 of the drink was way to sweet. I would love to go back and experience dining in as the location is charming. read more

Met a friend here for lunch. I had the Italian turkey panini. It was so delicious! All of the employees are very nice and friendly. There's a big outdoor area with tables and umbrellas, it's just a really cute spot! I highly recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch, you won't regret it!! read more

The rail side cafe has the best chai lattes ever! Besides that it's a cute locally owned shop and the people who own it are super sweet! I love coming in when I visit my parents for my drive home or to grab one with my sister while we hang out. You should definitely come by and get a drink! They have really good sandwiches too so if you're hungry it would be a good spot to stop and get lunch ! read more

After a morning workout at bonelli park, a friend and I decided to stop in. The outside seating section was so nice and inviting, which made us excited about sitting outdoors. The inside was super cute and the menu was full of wonderful menu items to choose from. I ordered the wake 1 breakfast croissant and it was fabulous! My cold brew coffee was also perfect. Excellent!!! First time there, I had tomatoes basil bagel and coffee. So darn delicious and fresh. My friend had a scrambled egg with bacon on a crescent, very delicious, we shared, u have her half and she gave half. Oh I also had cinnamon coffee cake, came with a small cup of fruit. Very enjoyable. The service, ordered inside, and the food was brought to our table, outside. Excellent service, very attentive, and is dog friendly. Ate outside, on the patio, nice and breezy, trees all around, with very nice tables and chairs. I felt like I was on vacation. I shall attend again and again. read more

I love that it's dog friendly, which us a plus. I enjoy ordering their chai tea with a shot of espresso. I have not had a better chai tea. I also order the locomotive sandwich. The meats are fresh and so is the croissant. The extra touch of heavy is great. I usually get it on the side to use it as a dip. It is a family owned business and it shows with how personable the staff is. I have not had bad service here. I will continue to come for my chai tea fix! read more

If you are looking for good coffee, good food, and chill vibes, this is your spot. If you're in the San Dimas, La Verne, Glendora area...come get caffeinated here at the Rail Side. I'm a fan of the bagel breakfast sandwiches and the amazing coffee drinks. There are milk alternatives for those who don't drink dairy products, and the menu has just enough options on it but is not overwhelming. Service is great, the folks are friendly and are always open to helping you find the right drink or food item to hit the spot. read more

The food we had chosen for this evening was - the wake number #1 (add avocado). The drinks and food was really great! I came here for breakfast with a friend and was instantly delighted to see all the cute train decor. There is limited seating inside, but luckily we were able to snag a table. (There's outdoor seating as well) I ordered the Matcha Frappe, London Bagel, and a Cranberry pastry. Matcha Frappe: Blended with whipped cream and oh so yummy! London Bagel: HIGHLY recommend getting this for your first time going here. It's roast beef, cream cheese, and pesto on an everything bagel. Really good size and the pesto pairs perfectly with the roast beef. Cranberry scone: Nice and warm and pretty big. If they are out of the cranberry scone, then go for the blueberry muffin! This place is so close to my boyfriends place and I love it! Their coffees are delicious!!! We only had the chicken pesto in sourdough bread and it's was ok 7/10. We got a Blueberry scone and it was tasty! They also give you a little cup of fresh berries! Over all the place is nice, they have outdoor sitting and a nice view of the park across the street. I absolutely love eating lunch here! The staff is really friendly and the food is so good. I was here last Friday in the late morning and it was busy even then which is so crazy! I got the turkey sandwich and it was easily one of the best turkey sandwiches I have ever had. The fruit side was also fresh and sweet. Passing through town on a road trip and needed a dog friendly place, THIS IS IT! Not only were they dog friendly, but they brought my dog his own bowl and checked if he needed a refill. Customer service was phenomenal! EVERYONE was so kind and so helpful, it was so nice to be treated so nicely, a quality rare these days. My kids for the bagels and my husband got the wicked good croissant. Everyone enjoyed. We also got the mocha and the chai late and oh my yum! read more

I'm glad I did because the options seemed to be endless! I wasn't sure what to get but the front desk lady was great with questions and challenged us to try something new. There is a small parking lot but I don't see that being an issue as I'm sure most people opt to simply grab and go. They have seating options but in the inside of the shop and outside; located near other shopping centers and a busy street. We were a group of 24 and we all had a wonderful time here. First, I want to commend the two ladies that catered to us during our visit. They were always there to make sure we were all good and if we needed anything. Friendly and made little chats with some of the ladies. The ambiance of the shop is welcoming and cozy. Decorated with items for purchase. Tables dressed to the T for a tea party experience! Mixed tea cup sets made it fun to admire the different prints. The food, from scones to dessert were perfect. My favorite are the raspberry scones and the strawberry balsamic dressing for the salad. The cute sandwich bites were tasty. No one can complain about the chocolate dipped strawberries! I thought that was our dessert, but it turns out the blueberry pudding was our dessert, that followed after the sandwich bites. The overall experience is simply delightful. What a great place to bring your mother, daughter, granddaughter and girlfriends here and experience an intimate tea party. I hope the ladies group will plan this again for next year!

One orders at the counter and they call your order for you to pick-up but with the acoustics in the restaurant, one may not hear their order being called. Sometimes an employee would bring a drink or so around to the customer if they did not hear their order being called, which was nice because it could get quite noisy on the inside. This is most definitely a family-oriented restaurant and I love see people of all ages enjoy time together, especially over breakfast. I love breakfast food, it just brings a sense of peace as we begin our day and what better way than to enjoy the food and company!

The noise level isn't too loud either especially with some headphones on. Since it was a Sunday evening, I felt like it was pretty slow in the beginning but once evening hit a lot of people started coming in and a lot of people came in to sit and get work done. Most of the tables had people sitting on them with laptops out. What I liked about today is when it was slow, the cashier actually went out and wiped the tables and I felt like she did that periodically even when someone was grabbing an order to go. My friends also ordered popcorn chicken and fries and it just seems like a great snack to have while studying Wish there were more cafes like this! I ordered a peach black tea bc the cashier said black tea had the most caffeine. I requested half sweet and Crystal boba it was perfect! The galaxy drinks were really pretty and good too.
