If you're looking for gluten free baked goods, look no further! They have gluten free muffins, bread, cakes and cookies. It would appear that the flavors rotate, however, I'm sure you could preorder if you have a favorite. I have sampled a few different items and all of them have been good. None of them had the infamous gritty texture that comes with gluten free. Their decorated sugar cookies are delicious, if you like a lot of frosting. I'd definitely recommend this place! read more

The service was terrible and the food was basic. I ordered a Earl Grey tea and when I asked if I could have a little creamer to put in it they told me it would cost extra. I had just paid for tea and an order of their Avacado toast $17 plus a tip. For what? Two pieces of toast with avocado smashed on top. There was no salt or spices on the toast nothing but a smashed piece of Avacado. Usually there is a little salt or pepper maybe some oil but this was nothing. Bad service, bad food, high prices. read more

I would rather go here than Starbucks. Been going here for awhile now. Their brew coffee is pretty good. Cappuccino is up to par. The staff is very helpful, willing to answer any questions you have and super friendly. They usually have special drinks written on a chalk board by the register and they are worth a try! Price is a little pricey but then again, coffees are super expensive now a days. read more

I mainly go here for the freshly roasted coffee. It's amazing. I love the aroma of the coffee. They put the roasted on date on the bottom of the bag. The coffee is on the light side so if you are making an espresso use a bit more coffee or grind finer. But oh my gravy the coffee they roast is freaking amazing I'm super happy they are making fresh roasted coffee beans. I didn't like coffee until I had theirs. read more

The service is what earned these four stars, it for sure wasn't the baked goods. The servers were friendly and energetic. The coffee was good and I'd choose it over other large name chain coffee roasters. The artichoke spinach danish was sad though. It wasn't warmed or even good tasting. They have a nice spot at the OX Collection that's fun and convenient. read more

definitely my favorite coffee house in Oxnard. i don't appreciate beans that are over roasted and bitter like that corporate giant because most people go to because don't know any better. personalized and friendly service that Ragamuffin has to offer. i wish the general public would learn to not support bad coffee that is sold by the corporate giant. read more

A small corner coffee shop in the annex where you can buy a cup to go or sit anywhere inside the annex with a cup of coffee. I ordered a cup of cappuccino for dine-in. Comes in their red cup and a milk design on top. I don't drink much coffee anymore, but to my knowledge, a cappuccino is an espresso with heated/steamed cream/milk. The cappuccino had a pretty strong espresso taste to it and whole fat milk was used to make it. Couldn't really taste the milk as much, but I thought the milk would have been warmer. Granted, I'm not positive, but I still did enjoy the drink in the end. Price-point. I didn't think it was bad. Worth a try and not a bad place to have a seat and chill if you are waiting for someone in the area. read more

Recently, I had to drive through this area for work, and I looked up local coffee places. Stopped here for a latte and snack. It's a little hard to find if you've never been there before I think, because it's kind of in a food court inside of a mall, but once you find the way, it's super accessible and there are parking spots right by the door for customers picking up, so that's kind of nice. The coffee itself was really good, and they have multiple milk alternatives to choose from (soy, oat, macadamia). Their baked goods are super good too and it looked like most times they even offer one or two things that are vegan. Great menu, friendly staff. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that none of their employees were wearing masks. I looked around the food court and literally every other place in there was wearing masks...why does this place not follow that? Like just cuz the world opened again doesn't mean there's no virus...doesn't look too great that they wear nothing. Not going to dock for that, but definitely if that makes you uncomfortable, just be aware. Anyway, good little place and hopefully the owner gives them masks lol Also, it looks like they have some good teas; I'll have to try them if I'm ever there again. Side note: the art on their wall is really pretty and fits their aesthetic. Super cute. read more

Dayuuuuum! Located inside the Annex food court. Im a coffee ho. Yep. Like everyone else. The coffee here is damn good. For you fake coffee whores, feel free to replicate my 411. Flavor is all on the oils. The oily-ier the bean the better. The drier the frijole the less bueno it is. The finished product. You got a winner if you can see oil floating on top. these folks straight black coffee is oily. Spin it around like wine and ya can see the oils. Today's batch was ethiopian. The roast was medium body per my pallete. It wasnt as heavily leaded as like my preferred darker roasts. The fruity/berry undertones matched perfectly with my brunch from pancakes. Match that with mild acidity and the bittersweet chocolate melts in yo mouth. These small batch roasted a good batch. Small batch tends to be pricier but its all good as quality isnt compromised. Encourage all y'll coffee ho's to give it a shot. Ya wont be disappointed. Service was excellent. The staff answered my barrage of questions with no chill or attitude. The decor is bland... Come to think of it. I love the idea of plain jane optics :) to let the coffee to do the yapping. read more

The staff is amazing the leadership is sub par. If you want consistency you won't find it with Ragamuffin. They change their minds and menu often. If you are religious you will LOVE this place as they run the business from a church organizational background. If they run specials with charitable organizations ask the staff if they know about the project. 90% of the time the staff is not knowledgeable about the projects the company performs for the public. read more

Ragamuffin Coffee Roasters was so tasty! I got a Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk. The barista was very disinterested in being at work, didn't smile, monotone voice and it seemed like it was a hassle that we were there, considering we are in a pandemic and even chose to venture out, I was hoping from more. This review still gets 4 stars because I don't want people to be disuaded from going here because it was delicious! Just hope to have a different barista next time :) read more

Was so excited to try this place for the first time. I'm a fanatic for espresso and cold brew. I order a cold brew with vanilla and it was so water down. It tasted nothing like coffee. Definitely not worth the $5.50 plus tip. I had to throw it away. What a waste of money. read more

I could taste the love in each sip of the excellent coffee. T'was especially good because we visited on a chilly evening. I tried the GUATEMALA FINCA DE DIOS from the pour over menu which listed the flavor profile of: sweet oranges, raw honey, and peanuts. Perhaps the power of suggestion worked on me, but I swear, I really did get hints of these flavors! It was rich and I also noted an underlying smoky background. Vibe is laid-back, casual, a bit hipster, and just plain comfortable. Employees are very friendly and I sensed a genuine feeling that they wanted me to enjoy my coffee. I'm a bit of a coffee snob but I kept hearing good things about this place so I had to try it out. It's tucked away in The Annex at The Collection but instead of being a hassle, it's quite the treat! I went in The Annex and there it was, right up front. I asked the kind girl behind the cashier which would be better, the vanilla latte or caramel bourbon; she informed me the caramel bourbon is "an experience" and their most popular drink. Well, you can bet I ordered that without hesitation! I declined the whipped cream on top and got the largest size because what can I say, I'm addicted to coffee. (No judgement people!) While waiting for my order, my friend and I sat at one of the many tables and enjoyed the views of the other shops. There was also a deck of cards on our table so we engaged in some Go Fish! Side note: there is a table with games to play while inside The Annex. How cool!?!? My drink came up within a few minutes and I finally got to try this "experience". The cashier was not wrong, this was a moderately sweet and enjoyable drink. It kind of tasted like a burnt caramel coffee. Not a bad burnt, but like an exaggerated caramel flavor. If you like black coffee, this isn't the drink for you. This has a burst of flavor with every sip and yet it is very relaxing and enjoyable. Probably one of my top five favorite coffee shops! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE! The coffee is delicious and the food is scrumptious! It is always worth sipping on a great "Cup of Joe" that's not full of acid and burns your esophagus while causing a stream of anxiety throughout the day (insert Starbucks). No instead here you have a sweet sip that makes you happy and gives you the push you need when you have your cup of the day. read more

Employees are kind. I come here to order their cappuccinos. SO GOOD. Perfect foam. Best place in Oxnard for cappuccinos in my opinion.

First time at this place . I am a fan of speciality coffee industry and it's culture . will say the Cortado that I had was decent and will come back again . The customer service was off hence the 3 starts. The young guys working here didn't show the kind of customer service you would expect from a speciality coffee stores similar to this coffee shop. Please greet your customers, make eye contacts and make them welcome . Perhaps training your workers will make this coffee shop a great one. read more

Staff was not friendly, my drink was just fine but the staff behind the counter was too busy gossiping about my friend and I after ordering. I really enjoyed my dbl cappuccino and lemon cake. The cappuccino was smooth and delicious. The lemon cake was good, but I should of asked for them to warm it up a bit, would of been way better. This was my third visit to this location (see my review of their original location in NP). I ordered an espresso and only the owner and an employee were working, and had no other customers at the time. After a few minutes I realized there was an issue as it wasn't ready and the girl mention something about (the grind was bad/off). She commented that each shift does it slightly differently and so she needed a minute. Once the espresso was ready I thanked her (and she apologized for the wait), and took a sip. It was so bitter...like, really not enjoyable bitter. I'm not much of a complainer, so I tasted a bit more. Nope. She offered to remake it and again commented something about the grind. The owner had come over and said they'd "have it right up". A few minutes later it was ready, and yes, it was better than the prior espresso, but still super bitter. I had to get going by this point, so I dumped some cream in and went in my way. I love coffee, but I'm not a snob. But...I expect a proper drink, especially from a specialist. In this case, I certainly could have gotten an equal or better drink from SB or While Foods (which I didn't simply to support the local business ) read more

Over priced coffee. $7 for a 12 ounce ice latte is a bit ridiculous. I would be a returning costumer if prices were decent and affordable.

Bourbon Caramel latte was amazing, great taste, on the sweeter side which I personally love! Good tasting coffee period!

I have officially replaced Starbucks with Ragamuffin Coffee. There is no comparison. Ragamuffin makes flavorful coffee. They have a friendly staff. They have an excellent atmosphere. And of course we prefer to support smaller businesses rather than corporate. We usually get our coffee to go and walk around the Collection.
