They were immediately attentive and asked if they could bring crackers for our kiddos to eat while we looked at the menu and all parents know how important it is to keep the kiddos happy! The food was pretty good and the restaurant was very clean and spacious enough between parties to allow for you to enjoy yourself. There is an area to have a party sized group if you request. Me & my husband ate here yesterday once arriving after our 12 hour drive from SC. Let me just say, it was AMAZING! The service was great, quick & staff super nice. my husband got the BBQ backyard burger and said it was different , but in a good way. I had the tenders with the sweet and sour sauce. the sauce was different and I absolutely love it. tenders were very juicy. and they give you SO many! We also got the cheese fries which come loaded with a spicy ranch and it was AMAZING. we killed the whole plate. i'm not usually a fan of ranch but I tried it and couldn't stay away from it. absolutely amazing food!! Well, we had dinner there late afternoon yesterday. We haven't been to Rafferty's for quite some time now I know why. We both ordered unsweet tea, unfortunately when we tasted the tea, it was sweet and we had to send that back. we never could get the original server to come back to our table, so we grabbed another server and asked to exchange the iced teas. The bottom line is very simple, the service was mediocre, as well as the food they really need to work on both aspects of their restaurant. hopefully they will improve in the future. read more

It's been a really long time since I've ate at Rafferty's and going to be a longer time now, the food was terrible, I ordered a Jackson Hole filet, if I where the town of Jackson Hole Wyoming I'd be upset, i ordered medium it was burnt, no flavor and so tough to eat I ate a quarter of it, you would think the waitress would have ask if there was a problem why I didn't eat it. My wife and daughter had the chicken salad, they both said it was dry and not very good, the son in law had the burger, that's the only reason I gave it a 2 star rating, three of us had the potato soup, it was bland, we used half a bottle of salt to at least be edible, two of up had the fries with cheaper and bacon, came out cold and not much flavor. Visited Rafferty's for the first time today and will probably be the last time. Ordered chicken strips and broccoli for lunch. I didn't have my glasses on so I didn't realize the meal was $17.99 which is rather expensive. The order size was more than expected so I guess that was why it was so expensive. The broccoli was crisper than I like so I requested it be microwaved to soften it. Helped a little but the stems were still hard for the non seasoned broccoli. Chicken tenders were very tough like they had been microwaved and they really didn't have any flavor. Should have ordered the soup which looked really good and according to my cousin it was very good. Wait, it gets good now..... We decided we would get dessert to take with us so we had a treat later. I looked at the menu and decided I would try banana cream pie because it looked really good. It cost $8,99 which was expensive but decided to give it a try because the picture looked delicious. Our to go order was delivered in a huge paper bag which was quite bulky to carry. Looked in the bag to check out my pie and found a whole Banana in the container with the pie. I was informed that the pie did not have bananas on it because they would turn brown. So I was supposed to put the bananas and toppings on my pie. Logic was understood but it would have been nice to know in advance that my pie was a do it yourself dessert. Wonder why they didn't reduce the cost? I would have probably ordered something else Sliced the banana at home. The banana had a bunch of bruised spots that had to be cut off so I didn't even get a full banana. Just wanted it to be known that if you order Banana cream pie to go you will have to put your own banana on it. They don't mention that on the sign outside and they don't reduce the price of the pie that doesn't look like the picture on the menu. read more

Put in a carry out order for over $120 worth of food for an important office lunch meeting the day before pick up. Pickup time selected was 11:30AM. When I arrived at 11:15AM ahead of time for pickup just in case, I was told the "ticket just popped up." Needless to say, it's 15 minutes past pickup time. My drive is an hour away for the meeting and I still don't have the food I ordered the day before pick up. Won't be spending a large amount of money here anymore. Unreliable and to top it off, the customer service was terrible- especially since it was their fault! read more

I'm not sure that I've ever been to a Rafferty's before this visit and we had a good time! We were seated right away, the host let us pick our table out on the patio. We started off with the pecan honey butter croissants and they were phenomenal! For lunch I ordered the frisco salad and paired it with the tarragon vinaigrette that the menu suggested. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't very much egg in it, especially since I didn't get chicken, but I loved the vinaigrette! He ordered the salmon with a baked potato. The salmon was gorgeous and cooked to perfection. Incredibly flavorful, grill marks and all! Our server was quick and everything came out exactly how we ordered it. She wasn't the most friendly, maybe just focused on her work, our glasses were never empty' The menu wasn't full of many things that I personally enjoy. I'm a vegetarian and there's not many options for me and it's a little expensive. The salmon with one side was $20. Overall, we had a good experience! I'm not sure if we will be back just because of the limited vegetarian options, but I definitely still see it as a good place to eat and would recommend it to my friends that would enjoy the menu! read more

Went for drinks & dinner, not again. Prices are way too expensive especially for the amount of food we received, (I guess since we r not "regulars".)We ordered same items as a "regular" and our food portion was 1/2 what they received. We knew they were regulars because they said so! If you don't cater to the bartenders on a "regular"basis, they don't care to serve you and charge you .39 for every sauce, etc. Ridiculous when you pay $3 more to have your fries loaded and then u have to pay for ranch to go with them? Regulars don't pay that. Bartenders tolerate others and only do bare minimum for outsiders. Managers r not customer friendly either. They act put out when you ask them a question about bill. I will spend my money with a restaurant that wants to serve its customers and not act or treat its customers like outsiders. I would b a "regular" if I was treated better! read more

We called ahead before coming here since we were 17 people, our previous location decided not to honor our reservation due to it being Cinco De Mayo. The manage James (I believe that is his name) was given the call. He was great, told us it will be about 15-20 mins but should have tables ready for us just waiting on a group to leave. We got there and waited about 10 more minutes. They were waiting on seating us but there were 2 people still seated. So we sat 1/2 of our group and waited a few minutes more before they made us a table. Janey our server was the BEST. Got our drink orders help is accommodate everyone and our seating arrangements. After the 2 people she helped us rearrange the seating again and make sure we followed COVID guidelines. After our fun game of musical chairs and everyone had drinks and some croissants. We were able to order, My kid and I both got the cowboy steak, mine medium with steamed broccoli and the kiddo with well done with fries. We both got the side salad with house ranch dressing. When our salads came out, they were a full bowl and looked great. Fresh and delicious. I not a huge fan of their house dressing but it's still good. About 10 mins later our food was ready and Janey and staff helped pull some empty plates off our table and get us all situated. Everything smelled and looked amazing and as we ordered. Out of 17 people orders we got one hiccup and it was just a side dishes and it wasn't a big deal. Everyone's food was hot and delicious. We loved how Janey was attentive and always checking on us and bring us refills. She got us Togo boxes when we were ready and made checking out a breeze. She even took our group pictures for us. This used to be our place for prime rib, but the last visit was our last. We ordered an appetizer and the prime rib entree. The appetizer and our salads arrived at the same time. No sooner than we started eating the appetizer our entree arrived, and the waitress gave us our bill. By the time we finished the appetizer and salad, our entree was cold. I tried it anyways and I know prime rib should be reddish pink, but this chewed like bubble gum. We had no luck finding our waitress so my wife finally called the restaurant on her cell and asked them to find her. This brought the manager to our table and he made no effort to right anything other than heating our meat in a microwave. Never again. Trying Cork and Cleaver this week. Decent. Middle of the road, in a town that features mostly average fare. We've been here many times, for some reason my youngest daughter always requested this place and it was a frequent choice after Etown soccer matches. We were just here, the first in a couple years hiatus. The menu is very much the same, if there were any changes I didn't notice. It's really starting to look it's age. We sat out on the deck, most of the tables were not bused or cleaned and there were a couple of chairs towards the back that they just stacked dinner ware upon it. The staff have always been friendly and pretty attentive to their guest, never a long wait to be served drinks or entrees. There is a small though nice selection of beers on tap, I'm partial to Hefeweizen and they've had one on tap for the dozen or so years we've been coming here. As far as appetizers, their deep fried mushrooms stands out. Always served piping hot and crispy. The nachos are a good choice too. We've had most of their entrees over the years and most are pretty good. The ribeye sandwich or the prime rib are my usual choices though the last 2 times the prime rib was quite unappetizing. It arriving just like the photo that shows up when you look for Rafferty's on Yelp, pink with a grey hue and very bland. The wraps, burgers, club sandwiches and loaded baked potato are popular with my family and they seem to like them, but like most everything here, it's just okay. Food was ok at best. I got the Mac and cheese for some reason it was spicy. I was going to get a baked potato but they was out. The table beside me got 8 baked potatoes. Somehow my father's pork chops were over cooked also. The knife that my father got was ruff and we both got splinters. The second knife he got was dirty and he had to clean it himself. Away from home but we recognized that Rafferty sign. Walked up and was seated quickly. Server was a sweetheart. Order came out not at all looking like it should. I do Not like to send food back ever. I get so worried how the next dish is going to come out. My husband said something and the sever insisted that she take it back and make it right. The manager made his way out with the second plates. Im sorry, but I think people are crazy! I feel like you should rate restaurants based on your expectations of the environment. All kinds of skewed reviews out there for Applebees, Rafferty's and the like. These places aren't wine and dine's unless you're Ricky Bobby. They are great little inexpensive sit down restaurants. Now, got that off my chest, about this Rafferty's. I love this place. I have not eaten at any Raffertys since I had this one over 8 years ago and it is just as good as I remember it being. I get steaks every time. I think they have a pretty darn good steak. People (men mostly) get so conceited with, "no one can cook a steak the way I can" jazz and "well, it's not Ruth's Chris" but EXACTLY. You didnt marinate, get the grill going, and then try not to forget how long you've had it on while being drunk. This is a chain restaurant meat that is pretty good might I add, marinated and cooked by someone else. For a $16-$19 steak, at a restaurant, I would say it's hard pressed to find one that is "so much better" than here. I think this is a fabulous restaurant and seeing as that I am here for 3 weeks, plan on eating it a few more times, because I'm fat! read more

I'm only giving this 2 stars because the staff was kind and the wait was short. The steaks there are not seasoned at all. The blandest steak I've ever eaten. I ordered Medium Well and received Medium. The fries and the salad was the only redeeming quality about the place. I'd be willing to try something else off the menu to give it more stars but avoid the steaks. Not worth it. Try another steakhouse if you want good steaks. read more

My daughters chicken Caesar salad was so drenched in dressing she could barely eat it. My Sunshine chicken salad should have been called "grape salad with a few pieces of chicken." My Dad ordered the same and his should have been "grape and celery salad with some chicken." The croissants were huge but overcooked and harder and dry. Such a disappointment. EMBARRASSING display of a club at Raffertys! I have NEVER been given such a sad looking club sandwich from here. This is the third time I've eaten here this week. Super bummed. Even after we brought it up to our waitress, no one apologized or even offered to see what they could do to fix it. We paid..... Then I request to see the manager who told our waitress that everything was on the sandwich, another manager approached and asked if I needed anything, so I told him the issue. He looked at my sandwich, I told him we were disappointed in today's display and he never offered an apology or any concern or regret for our dissatisfaction. Came here for a work lunch and they were able to serve us within the hour. We only the Lunch special soup, salad, and croissant drizzled with honey. The croissant was the best thing about our visit. Our lunch came out fast but heck it was only salad and soup not any cook time. They do have flavored teas, and you can get an unsweet version. I ordered the raspberry flavored tea. We both ordered the house salad and potato soup. Soup was fast and salad was fresh. It was just ok, nothing special. Please that we were able to eat for less than $20. Service was quick and ideal for a work lunch hour. I could see how this traffic in lot might get congested with the multiple shopping options during the holidays. Just average food.
