    Cheese Fries

Me & my husband ate here yesterday once arriving after our 12 hour drive from SC. Let me just say, it was AMAZING! The service was great, quick & staff super nice. my husband got the BBQ backyard burger and said it was different , but in a good way. I had the tenders with the sweet and sour sauce. the sauce was different and I absolutely love it. tenders were very juicy. and they give you SO many! We also got the cheese fries which come loaded with a spicy ranch and it was AMAZING. we killed the whole plate. i'm not usually a fan of ranch but I tried it and couldn't stay away from it. absolutely amazing food!! I wish I could remember our servers name as he was great as well. edit to add : restaurant was very clean as well.

It's hit or miss . Their prices have gone up and 50% of the time our food is like warm. BUT we keep coming back. We like the atmosphere. Today we saw a strong positive management presence . And our server/bartender was an older lady we hadn't seen before and she was very good.

Jackson Hole filet and cold fries not sure what was in the cup

It's been a really long time since I've ate at Rafferty's and going to be a longer time now, the food was terrible, I ordered a Jackson Hole filet, if I where the town of Jackson Hole Wyoming I'd be upset, i ordered medium it was burnt, no flavor and so tough to eat I ate a quarter of it, you would think the waitress would have ask if there was a problem why I didn't eat it. My wife and daughter had the chicken salad, they both said it was dry and not very good, the son in law had the burger, that's the only reason I gave it a 2 star rating, three of us had the potato soup, it was bland, we used half a bottle of salt to at least be edible, two of up had the fries with cheaper and bacon, came out cold and not much flavor. The waitress was great, the atmosphere is loud.

My pie with bananas added. Their picture looked better.

Visited Rafferty's for the first time today and will probably be the last time. Ordered chicken strips and broccoli for lunch. I didn't have my glasses on so I didn't realize the meal was $17.99 which is rather expensive. The order size was more than expected so I guess that was why it was so expensive. The broccoli was crisper than I like so I requested it be microwaved to soften it. Helped a little but the stems were still hard for the non seasoned broccoli. Chicken tenders were very tough like they had been microwaved and they really didn't have any flavor. Should have ordered the soup which looked really good and according to my cousin it was very good. Wait, it gets good now..... We decided we would get dessert to take with us so we had a treat later. I looked at the menu and decided I would try banana cream pie because it looked really good. It cost $8,99 which was expensive but decided to give it a try because the picture looked delicious. Our to go order was delivered in a huge paper bag which was quite bulky to carry. Looked in the bag to check out my pie and found a whole Banana in the container with the pie. I was informed that the pie did not have bananas on it because they would turn brown. So I was supposed to put the bananas and toppings on my pie. Logic was understood but it would have been nice to know in advance that my pie was a do it yourself dessert. Wonder why they didn't reduce the cost? I would have probably ordered something else Sliced the banana at home. The banana had a bunch of bruised spots that had to be cut off so I didn't even get a full banana. Just wanted it to be known that if you order Banana cream pie to go you will have to put your own banana on it. They don't mention that on the sign outside and they don't reduce the price of the pie that doesn't look like the picture on the menu.

Delicious and great service. Great music and lighting as well, very nice environment. The croissants were warm and the honey glaze on them were delicious!

Nice place service was outstanding. So food is your typical chain restaurant stuff. I had the smoked salmon. To me( my opinion) it was to dry and was on the smoker to long. , kinda tasted like they used that liquid smoke stuff. ) but it was edible. Atmosphere was loud and very "sports oriented " great place to meet the guys for a beer or a first (5-7) rate date girl. Kinda place. Parking was great tons of room and right off the main road, super easy to find.

I'm not sure that I've ever been to a Rafferty's before this visit and we had a good time! We were seated right away, the host let us pick our table out on the patio. We started off with the pecan honey butter croissants and they were phenomenal! For lunch I ordered the frisco salad and paired it with the tarragon vinaigrette that the menu suggested. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't very much egg in it, especially since I didn't get chicken, but I loved the vinaigrette! He ordered the salmon with a baked potato. The salmon was gorgeous and cooked to perfection. Incredibly flavorful, grill marks and all! Our server was quick and everything came out exactly how we ordered it. She wasn't the most friendly, maybe just focused on her work, our glasses were never empty' The menu wasn't full of many things that I personally enjoy. I'm a vegetarian and there's not many options for me and it's a little expensive. The salmon with one side was $20. Overall, we had a good experience! I'm not sure if we will be back just because of the limited vegetarian options, but I definitely still see it as a good place to eat and would recommend it to my friends that would enjoy the menu!

Great for lunch or dinner! Love the burgers and sandwiches and one of the best steaks I've had locally. Try the Sunshine chicken salad!

O'Charley's: A Mixed Bag of Bites and Booze…read more My wife and I rolled into O'Charley's for supper, ready for a good time, and we mostly got one--though the meal was a bit like a sitcom with great supporting characters but a shaky main plot. My wife went for the 6oz Sirloin Steak with a baked potato and green beans. The steak and spud were solid, hitting all the right notes like a dependable rom-com. But the green beans? They pulled a plot twist and just... weren't. Whatever that means, it wasn't good. I opted for the Shrimp and Grits, paired with a couple of Margaritas that were the real MVPs of the night. Liz, our bartender-server hybrid superhero, deserves a standing ovation for slinging drinks that were strong, not some sad, watered-down wannabe mix. Margaritas: 10/10, would sip again. The Shrimp and Grits, though? A Southern tragedy. As a longtime fan of this dish, I was ready for a light, flavorful hug from the Lowcountry. Instead, I got a greasy, heavy mess where the shrimp played hide-and-seek--and won. Hard pass next time. We kicked things off with the cheese wedges, O'Charley's claim to fame and the whole reason my wife dragged me here. They delivered, all gooey and glorious, like the comfort food equivalent of a warm blanket. The rolls, though? Usually the stuff of legends, but tonight they showed up fun-sized. Liz, bless her, kept the tiny carb parade marching to our table, so no complaints there. In short, O'Charley's brought the vibes with killer apps and drinks, but the main dishes need to get their act together. Liz, you're a star--keep pouring those margaritas!

The waitress told us before we ordered of everything they were out of. One was white gravy. I had been torn between the Country Fried steak and their Spaghsana (some kind of spaghetti lasagna fusion). So the steak was out because of the gravy and I ordered the Spaghsana. After she put the order in she came back and said they were out of something for the Spaghsana so I ordered the pork chops with mashed potatoes & carrots. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo and was looking forward to their crescent rolls but they were cold when they're usually served hot appearing to be somewhat fresh. One big one and one half the size of the other. The paper they serve them on was burned on the corner. Not just singed, burned back a few inches. Didn't even have the care for quality's sake to replace the cheap piece of paper. Wow, that's bad. She said the Monte Cristo wasn't as good as usual. My pork chops were dry. I could only eat one as I just didn't want to eat any more. Chops and sides appeared to be pre-cooked and reheated. Another sign of a soon to fail restaurant. Very likely a corporate decision to prepare food this way to maximize profits. They call themselves a scratch kitchen giving the illusion that everything is cooked from scratch. Scratch my a$$. What kind of scratch ingredients were they out of for the gravy? Flour? Milk? Grease? Pepper? Couldn't be pepper as there was some on every table. Who runs out of the other stuff? They're staples in any kitchen. Or is it really not a scratch kitchen and their pre-made gravy wasn't delivered? Cut the order short? Or just poor management? The waitress said their staff was thin which sending staff home early is another sign of cutting back to maximize profits. My Caesar salad wasn't even Romaine now that I think of it. I think it was Iceberg with Caesar dressing. It was even turning brown in spots as if it was past its 'best by' date. All of the staff... the remaining staff was as nice as they could be though. We had decided if she said they were out of anything else, we were just going to leave. The sweet tea was good. That's a plus. We had eaten here many times but tonight was our last. Im sure I'll see soon that this location is closed. Although I've lived in Kentucky all of my life, this appears to be on par with most restaurants in this part of the state. Poor. The place was a bit dirty. There was even a piece of a pork chop on the floor underneath the table were some guy tried to stab it with a fork and it was so tough that it shot off the table. Well, I'm sure that's what happened as I was the guy.
