Selected the #1 sampler. It was wonderful. The meats were tender and flavorful. I had onion rings and coleslaw for sides (it comes with 2 sides & a roll) I ordered in advance & picked it up. The price was a dollar higher then stated on yelp. You do get a military discount. Worth every penny. Good sized portions. Will becoming a regular. Look forward to being able to sit & eat there after pandemic. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. So we stopped here because of previous reviews and the menu options, of which they appear to have since changed, but we were very happy nonetheless. As a family of 6, traveling with grandparents and a great grandma, we are constantly looking for affordable, local places that have amazing food, can accommodate our size and don't break our budget. This restaurant excelled at all points. The special of the night, while you could still order off menu if you'd like, was a buffet, with salad bar, and dessert. It was worth every penny. You had the options of vegetable soup, white beans, or chili to start. Followed by veggie options of baked beans, great beans, corn, homemade mashed potatoes with brown gravy, fried apples, bbq chicken breast, and pulled pork. The salad bar was well stocked and you had your choice of cornbread and rolls, plus three choices of homemade bbq sauces. For dessert your choices were banana pudding, brownies, no-bake cookies, cookies, peanut butter pie, chocolate cheesecake, and carrot cake. Everything was homemade and amazing - someone in our group got one of each so we tried everything. They informed us on the way out that their Sunday buffet is from 11-3 and bigger and better than we just ate! She even offered to save our big crew a table if we called ahead! Thankful we stumbled across this place!! We walked in right as they were closing and they were kind enough to whip us up some food. Which was fantastic- and that's coming from 3 Texas BBQ snobs :) loved the food and the people! The owner is a great guy who takes care of and appreciates his staff. This place was amazing. We stopped on our way out of KY on a trip from Michigan to Tennessee. We spent well over $400 on food for this trip (2 adults, 2 kids), and this place was top for taste and price. $7.50 buffet with all the fixings + dessert and drinks. Kids 4 and under were free. The buffet had pork, chicken, and made to order catfish. It was A+ in our book! read more

We always stop in on our way to KY Lake, this place has great ribs, and brisket. Th ey have three types of BBQ sauce, Sissy Sauce, Almost a Man Sauce, and Man Sauce. Not a real fan on any of the sauces, but the ribs are great without any sauce on them. They have all the fried vegetable, but my favorite is the cauliflower. Somehow they manage to put a thin layer of cheese under the breading. Very resonablly priced and the portions are huge. Worth stopping in you will not be disappointed. read more

Stayed at Nolin. Decided that even tho there were closer places to eat we'd try it. I'm so glad we did! We really would've missed out! Service was friendly and fast! The restaurant was clean and inviting, with decor that perfectly goes with its name! The owner even came over and chatted with us a while. I had the pulled pork melt with fries, my husband ordered a rack of ribs, potato salad and beans. The food was absolutely delicious! Tender, and large portions. Fries were crispy and perfect! Went on a Saturday right after 11am, my wife and I were out and looking to enjoy a hamburger and not the typical fast food one, we stopped in and what a surprise! Now it's a hometown little place with typical KY decor and a relaxed atmosphere, the menu is not huge and it smelled of BBQ and good cooking. We ordered the burger off the menu, (there's only one) my wife had a single with the trimmings, no cheese, (if you want to taste a burger, don't use cheese, it masked the flavor) added the pulled pork and bacon, I had the same but a double patty, and a basket of tater tots, let me tell you, it was off the charts good! The pork was tender and flavorful with a hint of smoke, added with the sauce was that was served on the side and we used as a dipping, we both, after one bite, was hooked! The tots were crispy on the outside and perfect in the middle, unlimited refills on drinks, friendly servers and we just felt welcomed! Can be a little loud as it fills up but that's how you know it's good. As we were checking out, the waitress asked if I was a veteran, (I am) and we received a discount on our meal. We will be back to try other menu items and enjoy this lil slice of just good eating! read more

Hands down this is the best food around. BBQ is slow smoked and they bring you three different kinds of sauce to your table. Sissy sauce, Almost a man sauce, you the man sauce. I'm addicted to You the Man! It's got a great kick that makes your sinuses open right up!! Prices are cheap for the food that you get. Atmosphere is great as well! read more

We heard great things about this BBQ place and had to try it out. We went on Sunday because that's when they have the all-you-can-eat buffet, which was only $10 a person. They had salad, pasta, baked beans, corn, baked beans, and an assortment of meats, to include meatloaf. My only food complaint was that the green beans tasted like they were from a can and the cucumbers were extremely salty. Other than those minor complaints, the food was excellent, obviously very fresh. The restaurant was clean and the service was exceptional. I'm happy to have found this little gem and will be back. read more

This Chinese restaurant makes great food. It's a very casual dress place. Each combo fills an 8x5x2 inch container and for left overs there's a clear snap on lid. They're great to keep for use in the microwave. I will definitely go back to try the entire menu read more

My wife ordered pulled pork and mashed potatoes, more fat than meat and I think the mashed taters was instant:( , I ordered chicken and pork dinner with baked beans , mashed taters and corn bread. This is melt in your mouth barbecue! Onion rings and slaw were really tasty too! Baked beans might benefit from having some barbecue thrown in, but overall it was some of the best food in the area around Leitchfield. read more
