This week we were able to eat here on the way out and back to Seattle. We had the deluxe burger and fries with fry sauce. The burgers and fries are great. Perfect portion and made just right. The service is great. The staff is very friendly and give great service. They have a little fenced yard we were able to bring our dog to stretch her legs while we ate. We will definitely make it a point to stop when we pass through. We are so glad our friends told us about it or we would have missed it since the exit is not big and has a gas station so unless you need gas you might miss out on this gem

We ordered the ribeye steak with potatoes, veggies, garlic bread, and cheddar broccoli soup. The soup was incredible -- rich, flavorful, and packed with real broccoli, so you knew it was fresh. Then the steaks came out... and honestly, they were better than steaks we've had at high-end steakhouses. Perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Throughout the whole experience, our waitress kept our sodas full and somehow always appeared right when we needed something -- we never once had to ask. That level of attentiveness is rare. We decided to grab pie to go since we were heading to a hotel for the night. Before we could even mention it, she brought us plastic forks and a bag with our dessert. That kind of thoughtfulness completely sums up the service here. This will absolutely be a regular stop for us anytime we travel through Ritzville. I ordered the classic Eggs Benedict. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizer of biscuits. The restaurant wasn't busy, so I don't know why it took so long. It took another 10 minutes to get our food. 40 minutes for food is ridiculous, especially classic breakfast food! Our server didn't come by with any update while we waited. My husband loved his breakfast burrito! My mom enjoyed her Florentine Benedict. I didn't like my Eggs Benedict. The Benedict serving was huge! The hollandaise sauce covered half the plate! The portion of the smoked ham was generous, but not proportional. The amount of ham was too salty for the meal. My mom and I agreed the hollandaise sauce was overwhelming and bland. I added pictures of our leftover Eggs Benedict, still so much hollandaise sauce left. The hash browns were salty to me, but I am sensitive to salt. I'd come back for the biscuits. Make sure you take a few moments to appreciate the collection, it is truly unique. However, it was the crop circle newspaper clippings and the city award that hangs on the wall thanking the aliens. A fun picture opportunity! The inside dining room is very small but there is a clean, spacious, outdoor seating under a gazebo. If I travel through here again I will definitely get a famous burger. It was too early for me to give that a shot but everywhere I read (and a first hand account from my mom) people say that these burgers are to die for. I'm making mental note to pass back through. I personally felt the butterscotch was too strong and sweet for me, but the strawberry fruit shake was great. I prefer to get dessert than food here, the large-size onion rings weren't worth the price especially since the bag could've been fuller. If I come back, I'd also prefer to go through drive through to avoid the strong oil smell.
