this is a little bar/pub inside a mil base. as most ppl who come here are staying on base they dont have cars to get to better places and or do not have the time, so this is basically a monopoly place for the students. very easy to get there from the survival hotel and the place looks pretty nice. there is parking everywhere and the decor is rustic and chic. theres free pool table and some older games as well as various TV sets playing sports at every given time. they close really early around 2000 or 2100 the latest depending on the day of the week. the service is good the bartender is pretty nice, the only time is kind of wonky is when she is off so the kitchen staff does both cooking and bar service. the prices are not cheap and the quality and variety of food and drinks is pretty limited. the food is mostly fried but they also have some salads that overall look like you can get the same ones in the supermarket with those very weird containers, they do not look freshly made at all. here are some items I had here over my time around here: CHICKEN SLIDERS- I thought it was nice grilled chicken but I was wrong it is some deep fried chicken fingers and pickles with mayo, I would avoid it if you are trying to be healthy. if you are after all in for unhealthy this is a good choice as it also includes fries. TURKEY BURGER- this is my go to dish here. I love the turkey burger but it does take longer to come out rather than other dishes, just keep that in mind, also as I am not a huge fan of French fries I generally asked for mozzarella sticks instead and they will accommodate. PIZZA- I do not remember right now what kind I got but I know they only have 3 or 4 choices so it is pretty limited, bit I think that everyone should skip the pizza here as the pizza at the chow hall is way better, do not waste money here the pizza is over cooked and not very tasty. since we cant avoid coming here they got everyone coming back, but if you come to this training and have a car I would advise you to avoid coming here, unless you are pipeline cause i heard they eat for free here, so free is always good.

Outside of the bar. It's located behind the SERE hotel.

Why did you go to all this trouble to remodel just to make a big mess of reopening??? The only reason I ate here at all is sometimes my wife wanted a burger and some fat fries. She HATES the skinny fries. Dumb decisions, guess you want to lose business. So weird. At least it is easier to get around now, and the employees are nice. Well, except for who I assume is the manager going around and hassling employees about minor things in front of customers. Low class and unprofessional. I honestly feel bad for the employees that have to work there.

I ordered three small Fatburgers with the works and a couple sides of the skinny fries. They gave me a puck that flashes and vibrates when your order is ready. This gave me a couple minutes to hit the restroom and get something else to drink. My friends and I were absolutely impressed with how good the burger tasted. The mix of the veggie toppings and the smashed hamburger patty were incorporated perfectly together. This is the prime example of what a greasy cheeseburger should be. And to be real, the small and a side of fries should be enough for a meal for me. Speaking of the fries, they were cooked perfectly to a nice crisp. They gave me a couple containers of fry sauce, which was a perfect addition to add to each bite of my smash burger. Definitely a fan of Fatburger!

The staff is friendly and the place has an older feel, though it seems fairly well maintained. A few things that might bother some people: not all of the food prep staff wear hair-nets and some have longer hair or longer beards/goatees. Additionally, some servers don't always have their hair pulled back. Regarding online ordering, we've had several issues. There were many times when the website couldn't locate the restaurant and we tried both Safari and Chrome. The site wouldn't accept any of our debit cards in Safari, though Chrome eventually worked. On multiple occasions we couldn't complete our order because the site wasn't functioning properly and when we called and pressed #2 to reach staff, the automated system just kept looping and never connected us with anyone. As for the food, it's a decent breakfast. I wouldn't call it the world's best but it's good for what it is and our kids really enjoy the chocolate chip pancakes. Their berry sauce is especially good.

Okay for the prices I was expecting great portions but they were just not there…read more We got two starters, bao buns and the lucky budda rolls. The lucky budda rolls were delicious! It was vegetables and herbs and pork wrapped in rice paper. It was really refreshing and the sauces; peanut, sambal, and chili were so good! But they were 14 dollars and barely had any pork... The bao buns were good, the pork belly being really great. The bun itself was not great, but the sauce in the bao made up for it. But it was 12 DOLLARS for TWO small sized bao buns! The kalbi was tender and really nicely charred. The flavors were nice with a sweetness that paired well with the smoky flavor and was probably the best dish over all. The bombay chicken also had a really nice flavor, but was so dry it was nearly impossible to eat. I got the ko moo yang which is a marinated pork dish. The flavor wasn't exceptional - it was also dry. We did get sides; marinated greens, egg, radish, and noodles but the portions sizes for them were comically small. I swear there were 6 macaroni noodles. The Thai tea was overly sweet and this was mentioned-! they only had coconut milk and told us that but it was so chunky, a sort of curdle milke texture, it was hard to suck through the straw. Our service was very slow and a member of my party had mentioned that she didn't eat spicy food and so the server didn't bring over hot sauce for the rest of the party who do eat spicy? Plus it was very slow moving which was strange because there was no one there, like it took ten minutes for two drinks which were sodas. We arrived there around 3pm and left around 5pm. It didn't have interesting decor but the windows did allow a lot of natural light out. While I didn't pay attention two members of my party noticed that while the lobby was clean - the kitchen wasn't.
