this is a little bar/pub inside a mil base. as most ppl who come here are staying on base they dont have cars to get to better places and or do not have the time, so this is basically a monopoly place for the students. very easy to get there from the survival hotel and the place looks pretty nice. there is parking everywhere and the decor is rustic and chic. theres free pool table and some older games as well as various TV sets playing sports at every given time. they close really early around 2000 or 2100 the latest depending on the day of the week. the service is good the bartender is pretty nice, the only time is kind of wonky is when she is off so the kitchen staff does both cooking and bar service. the prices are not cheap and the quality and variety of food and drinks is pretty limited. the food is mostly fried but they also have some salads that overall look like you can get the same ones in the supermarket with those very weird containers, they do not look freshly made at all. here are some items I had here over my time around here: CHICKEN SLIDERS- I thought it was nice grilled chicken but I was wrong it is some deep fried chicken fingers and pickles with mayo, I would avoid it if you are trying to be healthy. if you are after all in for unhealthy this is a good choice as it also includes fries. TURKEY BURGER- this is my go to dish here. I love the turkey burger but it does take longer to come out rather than other dishes, just keep that in mind, also as I am not a huge fan of French fries I generally asked for mozzarella sticks instead and they will accommodate. PIZZA- I do not remember right now what kind I got but I know they only have 3 or 4 choices so it is pretty limited, bit I think that everyone should skip the pizza here as the pizza at the chow hall is way better, do not waste money here the pizza is over cooked and not very tasty. since we cant avoid coming here they got everyone coming back, but if you come to this training and have a car I would advise you to avoid coming here, unless you are pipeline cause i heard they eat for free here, so free is always good.

Outside of the bar. It's located behind the SERE hotel.

I've had Korean wings in the ROK, but they're not a big attraction for me. We ordered their Korean…read moredinner dishes in lieu, and they were fine. Spicy pork & chicken were not going to rip the paint off your tongue, and that may be by design for the tenderfoot farmers around here. Prices are steep. Especially for larger appetites, even though I left my large appetite back in my 40s. But, it's actually nice to have a Korean option in our little college town for people to splurge and have something different than a pizza/burger. One laughable thing....is the tiny little ban chan cups of kimchi that come with the meal. Look at my pic, and you'll get the message, haha. For the price of din-din, they can (and should) do better than that...

This spot was okay. Unfortunately we went at lunch time during the week and there was only one…read moreperson taking orders while also trying to make food. We came in and ordered 2 bowls and there were a few people already waiting for their food. After ordering we took a seat and waited a solid 35 min for our bowls to be done. It was an astronomically long wait time. I was by no means upset with the worker who was trying their best to manage orders and prepare everyone's food as well as the online orders. Once getting our food there was nothing special about the bowls, it was just beef on top of white rice with limited toppings/veggies. I'm not sure if this was just a day of short staffing or if it's typically 1-2 people working. I probably wouldn't return simply due to the unexpected wait times.
