I've had Korean wings in the ROK, but they're not a big attraction for me. We ordered their Korean dinner dishes in lieu, and they were fine. Spicy pork & chicken were not going to rip the paint off your tongue, and that may be by design for the tenderfoot farmers around here. Prices are steep. Especially for larger appetites, even though I left my large appetite back in my 40s. But, it's actually nice to have a Korean option in our little college town for people to splurge and have something different than a pizza/burger. One laughable thing....is the tiny little ban chan cups of kimchi that come with the meal. Look at my pic, and you'll get the message, haha. This spot was okay. Unfortunately we went at lunch time during the week and there was only one person taking orders while also trying to make food. We came in and ordered 2 bowls and there were a few people already waiting for their food. After ordering we took a seat and waited a solid 35 min for our bowls to be done. It was an astronomically long wait time. I was by no means upset with the worker who was trying their best to manage orders and prepare everyone's food as well as the online orders. Once getting our food there was nothing special about the bowls, it was just beef on top of white rice with limited toppings/veggies. I'm not sure if this was just a day of short staffing or if it's typically 1-2 people working. I probably wouldn't return simply due to the unexpected wait times. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a bit now but it's an hour away from me. Today we visited for the first time. It is a cute place. Pros: The food was really good we had the beef spring bowl with spicy go sauce and my husband loved it. My granddaughter has 1/2 single maple ginger Korean wings which she really liked. I had the full order of Spicy go Korean Fried wings, I should have chosen th OG because I'm not a huge fan of sweetness on meat. The service was great... We all highly recommend this place. First visit. Ordered the chicken tenders with "Spicy" Go sauce. The chicken was overcooked and rubbery. The sauce had virtually no spice in it. The slaw and pickled radish were fine. I ate three tenders and threw the rest out. These were barely edible. read more

I ran across Wings Pan in a Spokane FB Foodies group. I was intrigued at the fact all of their batter for their chicken was gluten free. Their website had nothing but yummy written all over it. I am not in Cheney a lot but figured I would visit one day. Then my wife's birthday was coming up and she is on a strict gluten free diet. She had not ripped into deep fried hot wings in years so I figured I would surprise her Saturday night for dinner. Cute little place. Clean and a very simple menu. Her son was with us and he ordered the battered Spicy Go wings. She and I ordered a double(which saves you money). It was a combination of Buffalo wings and the Soy Tango wings. The crisp on the battered wings was excellent. Don't pre-judge what you think gluten free fried batter would taste like. It was a crunchy texture and maintained that texture even when covered with the various sauces. The plates were filling and we took the wings home that we could not finish. My wife was delighted tearing through the wings. We will definitely be back even though this location is 40 minutes from our house. Great job Augie!!!! read more

What a pity for a new " local" place to open in such a prime location in Cheney! There is no business phone number to call and put an order-to-go, the wait is over 20 min. The building has a specific unpleasant smell of old plumbing that hits you right at the front door. The food is overpriced with far from generous portion sizes. Taste is, to say the most , mediocre. How can you serve Kimchi in the size of a small ketchup plastic sauce cup to-go in a Korean restaurant and charge $25 for the Plate? This is the first Yelp review I've ever written - I was compelled by the delicious flavor and generous portion size!! I got the Beef Spring Bowl and was a bit worried that I might still be hungry when the description was saying it's a lighter, fresher take of bibimbap - but it was a deep bowl with plenty of rice and toppings that all tasted delicious! The beef was incredibly tender (often times at other restaurants, I find myself needing to set aside - or rather, spit out - certain bites due to tough texture). The only other time I went was opening day and it took quite a while to get our food, so I ordered ahead online this time - it was a great option. We had a new experience at Wings Pan Thur. night. It's a new Small Korean Restaurant in Cheney. We haven't been big fans of Korean food but the food was excellent and we're really, really liked the Coleslwa in fact we took some home with us. I had my first taste of Kimchi and my taste buds are still out on that one. The chicken tenders with the Tangy Maple sauce was really good. I would for sure go back and try some of the more traditional dishes. The service was really nice and the owner was really cool. It's a small place and just opened so I think they will continue to make more improvements as they settle in and get to know Cheney. It was very clean and neat.
