Extremely slow, and staff didn't say anything no apology, just rude. 45 minute wait for 20 wings.

The cook was noticeably high. They forgot to put sauce on my wings. Many customers in line were also frustrated.

Horrible wait time. 30 min for a few wings. No one was even in the store. They don't seem to care about how long you wait.

Service was terrible. 40 minute wait for chicken fingers and fries... but... no fries in the bag. Complete joke.

I had heard about this place from a friend, who is originally from the south, so when he was raving about it, I figured it was good. The place is a vibey dive. It has some cool art on the wall that is meant to do just that. They care much less about what you think of the place and way more about how good the food is! The gentlemen who run the place do a really nice job and got our food out to us really quick. They have tons of different options, including some really good hush puppies, some next level chicken and some really good pie desserts. Get there early because, as we found, they do run out of some of the pies. The chicken is masterful! From our time in the south, we learned that you shouldn't have to put anything on your chicken. Here....you don't have to put anything on the chicken! It's juicy, salty, southern chicken at its best. Paired with hush puppies and some fries, this makes you want more and want it now. The ribs were another must have. They were absolutely delicious! Falling off the bone and saucy to boot! Go here. Go early. Go chicken!

The place is super small and cozy, with that comforting local feeling right when you walk in. I had the ribs and chicken tenders, and fries. The ribs were just... ridiculously good, especially for the price. Probably some of the cheapest I've had in Spokane, but still incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavors. Chicken tenders were also amazing, crispy outside, juicy inside, and perfectly seasoned. Even the fries were addictive. I kept eating more even after I was already full. I really wanted to try more of the menu but just couldn't have another bite because I was too full. Definitely one of those places I'd happily come back to every time I'm in town.

The decor is cute and it has the cabin look about it. My friends and I ordered the half flatbread with Caesar salad and I had the lobster bisque soup for my side. The soup was fantastic with large pieces of lobster. The flatbread was dry and needed more sauce or balsamic vinegar drizzled on top. My friend was pouring tabasco on his to add some flavor. I had the huckleberry cosmo and it was delicious. You can't find huckleberry's in Reno. The restaurant had just opened and still asked us to wait 5-6 minutes which I thought was strange. The staff were friendly and plenty of parking. Perfect spot to get a bite to eat prior to going to the airport which is just a couple miles away.

The food runner was very nice and I wish we had them as our own server! The service... 2/5. All the other servers seemed great and ours took a long time to come to us for drinks/bring drinks. Someone in our party ordered a corona and it took 15-20 min for it to be brought and it wasn't super cold. At the end of the dinner she didn't bring a box like we agreed and when I mentioned it to remind her she said in a rude tone: "yeah... im bringing it in just a second". Overall, just not a great experience in that area. Everything else made up for all of that.

The fish is perfectly seasoned with a crispy golden crust on the outside while staying flaky and tender inside. Every bite has that fresh, homemade flavor that makes you stop talking for a second just to appreciate it. The bread holds everything together perfectly without overpowering the fish, and the whole sandwich tastes like it was made with real care and soul. What really makes the experience stand out is how comforting and authentic the food feels. The catfish sandwich isn't just good -- it's the kind of meal you keep thinking about afterward. Pair it with their sides and sweet tea, and it's one of the most satisfying meals you can get in Spokane. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly, and you can tell the restaurant genuinely cares about both the food and the community. Customers consistently praise the catfish and the warm hospitality.
