Needless to say it's especially convenient if you're staying at the hotel, but I'd go there even if I weren't. Makes me wonder why more hotels aren't doing this. Food was quite good. My wife had chicken strips, which she liked, and I had the fish and chips. Fish and slaw were quite good, but the fries were AWESOME. We added cups of Ivar's chowder, which NW natives know is always good. I should add that the presentation was perfect - the food looked so good on the plate that you hated to disturb it. The older gentleman who was cooking obviously took pride in his work. Service was very prompt. There was a nice selection of premium bottled beer and wine in a nearby cooler. The meal with drinks came to around $50, which didn't seem unreasonable. Highly recommend.

But most of the campers are not eating in the restaurant, so you can have a real nice experience in the dining room, with a great view of Williams Lake. The food is very hearty and cooked up fresh. Should you wish to drive 14 miles south of Cheney between April and September on the weekends, you will find them. And I will say that younger people looking for a more modern vibe would probably not care for the experience. But it was perfect for my parents.

Price-wise, we have definitely come a long ways away from $1.25 per taco - one carne asada street taco was $4. It also did not come with any sauces and not a lot of the usual toppings (cilantro, onions). Willing to try it again and explore other things from their menu.

I wish the experience I had was better to report. First off, my friend and I arrived with ample time before our reservation, and were unhappy to find out that there was some sort of children's tea being hosted this afternoon. While it's an adorable idea, it was not the environment I was looking for on my birthday, and had it been advertised ANYWHERE on the business's website, we would have chosen to have gone elsewhere from the start. Because it wasn't, we weren't aware it was happening until we got to the restaurant and were already excited to try the place out. We asked to be sat away from the table with kids that was already there, and as there were two tables about to open up and a table that was already open, we didn't think it would be an issue. The couple that had gotten there before us (but told us they didn't have a reservation) was seated first and very far away from the table with children. We, on the other hand, were seated directly next to the two women who were entirely focused on their mimosas and were thus allowing their children to play loudly with toys at the table. I understand a business being busy, and maybe this place just isn't for me, but I was so excited for it, and we didn't even stay long enough to order. If you're going to be holding a special event, post about it, especially if it's themed. Otherwise, you're just going to have unhappy (would be) customers.

I haven't ever been to the town of Rosalia before until just this past weekend where I exploring…read moresouth east Washington and was making my way to Spokane. Upon entering I knew that this would be a fun, interesting to say the least as I took in the atmosphere and decor of the brewery. I located the tap list thanks to the owner pointing out where it was which was displayed on the counter in pictures for what was on tap. The owner I am guessing was playing cards with some of the locals but once I selected the beer I wanted he came and gave me the chosen pint. I got the impression that he likes to chat with his customers so I was warmly invited to sit at the table where they were playing cards to enjoy my beer and hang out. The owner was involved in his game but not too much to get some conversation in with me. The small town charm that was going on here was nice, refreshing and welcoming and wish that it was always this way to the small towns I visit or like when I go back to where I was raised in Wyoming but know I would not get that reception as I was getting here. I finished my beer and then proceeded to be on my wave after ready to move on to the next stop but not before praising the beer I had and saying goodbye. Oh yes, what was the beer that I had? It was an Amber beer that was quite good and inserted itself into recent memory as being an excellent one in relation to recent beer drinking experiences. The name of the beer was Hotrod. The usual notes were there with an Amber with it's maltiness, some floral, a biscuity presence and maybe a tad of caramel and toffee. The owner did say this was an Amber in reflection to a east coast recipe for Amber Ales which was a bit different and perhaps that's why I liked it so well as it did have a presentation all it's own. Without any hesitation I will indeed be back here to enjoy this awesome brewery!
