They came to do concrete leveling of my large stoop and a complicated gutter discharge extension that invloved demo of concrete and pouring of new concrete. John & Tyler exceeded my expectations for the concrete leveling as they were careful with the lift (I had an attached railing tied to my brick home that I thought would be damaged during the lift) and no damage was done as they took their time to ensure the integrity of the railing. The gutter extension by Will and the crew was amazing. The obstacles they overcame showed true professionalism and care. I would strongly urge anyone thinking about foundation repairs, drainage issues, and concrete leveling to use The Real Seal. Note: The office staff showed care and patience with all my questions and concerns!

The Real Seal was the only company who felt they could fix it. And they delivered! I can't say enough good things about Patricio, the lead project manager, he was so methodical and smart about each step, making sure the wall was reinforced, making sure they had the right supports in and then ensuring the wall was straight, secured and reinforced. He made sure to answer all our questions, to walk us through the plan for the day and show us what was done at the end. This was not an easy fix, but they came through with a straight, secured wall and I am so grateful to the entire crew! We also had a drain tile, new sump pump and antimicrobial sheeting installed to ensure the wall stays structurally sound.

When it would rain, water would seep into my laundry room from a corner behind the washing machine. Petar came to see where the problem was and immediately identified a foundation leak. We set up an appointment for a Saturday a couple of weeks later. There was fantastic communication throughout the entire process. Petar offers a lifetime, transferable warranty. He just left my house after spending about an hour fixing the foundation. Originally, he thought he'd have to cut through the support stud, but he didn't need to, which helps me even more. Excellent service, excellent value, and Petar is wonderful! I highly recommend. Oh, and he takes Zelle!

Petar was very detailed and knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and wasn't pushy. He showed me where I needed some other stuff done too, but said it was fine to wait on it for a while, absolutely no pressure at all to add it to the current job. The work itself is great, they were on time, professional but nice, and a 2-3 day job ended up being just 2 days, even with adding installation of a new window well to the job that day. The next day, there was a lot of water in the basement. Petar came right over to see what the issue was. it wasn't their work, a pipe right over the work had a slit/hole, and spewed water all over when I was outside watering my plants. I apologized for having him come by when it was not his fault, but he could not have been nicer about it, he prides himself on excellent customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

While he and Sr were cleaning, he kept me updated with issues he was finding via FaceTime. He then came when I was home to present me with a formal quote for waterproofing the crawlspace. I decided to move forward because of his professionalism and his ability to thoroughly explain what was going on. My crawlspace is now dry and sump pump installed along with badly needed insulation. I would recommend them for any of your waterproofing needs and restoration. I plan on having them do more projects in the future.

I had Basement Flood Protector out to my home in the spring of 2024 for a major waterproofing job…read moreon my personal residence. The job involved a full interior drain tile system and exterior dig/waterproofing on 2 sides of my home. I waited 2 summers before writing this review because the effectiveness of their work can really only be gauged over time. This week, we had torrential amounts of downpour that went on all night. Prior to the waterproofing, my basement would have had water seeping in from the block foundation walls, back basement door, and up through the cracks in my slab. I'm happy to report that my basement stayed completely dry. Since this job was done in April 2024, I've only had 1 instance of water. I immediately called Basement Flood Protector and, because their work has a 10-year warranty on the exterior and lifetime warranty on the interior, they came out and immediately remedied the situation. No water since. This was a big job that I did a ton of upfront research on and quoted 3 other big/well-known waterproofing companies. The reason I went with Basement Flood Protectors was: 1) Sales Process: John was my contact at Basement Flood Protector. He did not put on the big sales pitch and presentation I got from 2 of the other companies. He was straight shooting and was clearly the expert in waterproofing, not just a sales person. 2) Responsiveness: Basement Flood Protector answered all my follow-up questions and concerns whereas other companies seemed to dance around some questions. As an example, when asking one of the other big competitors the cost for an exterior dig, rather than saying it's not work they do (or want to do) the sales person verbally quoted me some unrealistic/high number. Another major company completely ghosted after I called/emailed 3+ times to try and speak to someone about moving forward with the job (feel like I dodged a bullet there). 3) The price: They were notably better-priced for the work I wanted done. Hope this review helps someone as waterproofing can be intimidating. I had an excellent experience with Basement Flood Protector.
