Jesse walked me through the scope of work upfront and we moved forward. The job wasn't simple -- the wall behind the shelves had herringbone tile. Jesse opened it up, installed proper backing so the shelves could be bolted in securely, then redid the herringbone tile and matched the existing grout so well you can't tell any repair was ever done. That's exactly the outcome you hope for with tile work. While he was in there, he also fixed a leaking tub spout that required opening another section of wall for plumbing work, then patched and painted it back to seamless. Jesse's attention to detail was outstanding throughout. I'll be calling him for any future work at the house.

The first days with decent weather in late April the deck was washed, and by early May the deck was finished. A crew of 2 worked a full day power washing and bleaching the deck and 2 sections of yard fencing. Every part of the deck was thoroughly cleaned, including areas not normally visible, and all areas of the deck that were surrounded by bushes. Within about a week, as soon as we had a few sunny days and warmer weather, a crew of three worked a full day sanding and staining the deck and fence. The deck floor was power sanded, and all other surfaces were hand sanded, before all sawdust was carefully blown away and stain was applied. Deck Doc did an outstanding job, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Communications regarding scheduling were excellent, work was done competently and on the days and at the times promised. The area around the deck was left completely clean when work was completed. Thank you for making my deck look like new.

The owner Sparta is a real professional and fine gentleman to deal with. He's a throwback to when craftsmen took pride and ownership in their handiwork. He installed a stunning 300 ft. long 5'high wrought iron fence over a sloping and erratic terrain that is my back yard in Medinah. The job was finished a day earlier than planned in 98 degree (115 humidity index) brutal heat wave that didn't slow the work down a bit. (I actually recommended him to take breaks or even a day off, but he wouldn't have any of it.) He and his helper worked tirelessly doing the back breaking tasks of digging holes, pouring concrete, clearing brush, etc. Sparta actually does the welding and iron cutting himself on site, to ensure a good snug and clean fit. The 3 gates installed are perfectly balanced and swing open and shut with the touch of a finger. The whole job took less than a week and after cleaning up everything perfectly Sparta even threw in an impromptu gutter repair for me. I obtained 5 estimates and researched each one meticulously before deciding on Elite and am so happy I did. I am sure you will be also and I highly recommend them for any fencing installs or repair work you might need.
