I own a Google Pixel 2XL smart phone and needed help with certain Settings. Arriving at the store with a 2PM appointment, made earlier, I was promptly greeted by Kayla who offered to assist me. We then sat down to discuss my issues. A good number of questions were posed to Kayla all of which she quickly and skilfully addressed with aplomb. Using my phone, Kayla showed me several commands that resulted in my now being able, for example, to quickly access my destination listing when downloading a new GPS Ap. In my case, I now wanted to use Google Maps, abandoning Scout GPS due to it being phased out, as well as it recently failing to perform when needed on the road. Kayla quickly found my "lost" list of destinations that I had tried to transfer from Scout to Google Maps. I was immediately impressed with Kayla's knowledge and style, her degree of patience and understanding notwithstanding! In addition to my now being able to have Google Maps on my phone along with my original destination list, Kayla performed a quick "clean-up" of my phone in order to determine that my current Settings were not unnecessarily draining my battery. Kayla is to be commended for upholding Verizon's Mission Statement towards providing excellent customer service regardless if that customer was not in the market for an upgrade or new device. While at the Rte.23 Verizon store Decided to buy a case for…read morethe Verizon IPhone my wife just got...and also some additional plugs and chargers (because NOTHING comes with the phone to charge it with the new type cord NO wonder people are leaving Verizon and IPhones) $150 dollars later just for that stuff--the guy put the case on the phone ...we left A few days later while it fit good --but--it WASN'T the right case ,u couldn't screen shot etc etc. We had to go all the way back to Wayne Of course when we went back today (4/16 tues at noon) The guy that was there didn't want to be bothered Tried to give us some used crappy case we didn't want ...it was a huge bother to get him to come over to the new case section..where there was a limited selection of cases..he finally realized the guy gave us a case for the newest style IPhone when that's not what we needed. He would up just giving us a clear case that was definitely less money than what we paid just to get us out of there..terrible! And just to mention the place was empty there was no rush. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. I then asked her for a phone so that I could call customer service, she said she didn't have a phone to call customer service, because the call would take a long time. I went outside the store and had a live customer service rep on the phone within 3 minutes. I walked back into the store to hand my phone to the clerk so she could talk to the customer service rep, but she refused. The customer service rep said that it was wrong of the clerk to deny me a phone to call customer service and it was wrong of the clerk to refuse to speak to customer service on my phone. On top of that nonsense, the Spanish music is blasting. And while I was there, I saw another customer leave disappointed, apparently with the same clerk versus phone rep nonsense. I logged an official complaint with the T-Mobile main office, they were nice enough to waive the cost of my replacement SIM card after what I was put through at the local store. And interestingly enough, they found no fraud alerts on my account.
