After 35 minutes of standing in line my husband went in. I got to wait outside - too many people inside for me to go inside. Number of people is based upon square footage. Seriously??? There were 7 people in the store including my husband and the salesperson. My husband commented about the time he had to wait - the salespersons response was - "well, she was my 12:00 appointment." During the 35 minutes the line went from 4 deep to 8 deep. I The salesperson was very good and courteous. Didn't try to oversell him in other things. He was very helpful and attentive. He got a new phone and they put the new screen protector on. My husband asked why only a few people in the store at a time. They only allow 1 person per salesperson and only 1 salesperson can have a couple. It's a policy and he can't change it. At that point we did understand - but they post that on the door though. I sat and waited, but it felt like no one cared that I was there. I had already paid for a service and arrived with plenty of time before closing, yet I was told I would have to come back the next day and only during a certain time if I wanted someone to help me. One employee went to the back, grabbed my phone and AirPods, placed them on the counter, and walked away without explaining anything. When I asked for guidance on what I should do next, I felt like I was interrupting a conversation the employees were having with another customer that had nothing to do with phones. As it got closer to closing time, it seemed like they were more interested in chatting than helping paying customers. Customer service should include acknowledging customers, communicating clearly, and treating people with respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Don't recommend coming to this location. Worst thing is I was charged $30 for assistance just to be not even handed my phone and the all the verizon employees ignored me completely.

After shopping around online, I found that the quote offered by SYM was considerably higher than what I was getting from other websites. It was almost double what the local in-person retailer in my neighborhood was offering. It seemed almost too good to be true but I decided to take a leap of faith. Then came another challenge - I didn't have the original box the device came in. And with such a large bulky object, I knew that packaging it properly for shipping wasn't going to be easy. Luckily, I saw it mentioned on SYM's website that they provide shipping materials in some cases. I emailed them and within a few days they had shipped an old Apple iMac box with the styrofoam padding directly to my home, along with a UPS shipping label to mail the device to them. The only thing missing was the plastic handle insert, not having that made it rather difficult to carry the heavy package down the two blocks I needed to get to the UPS store. After dropping it off, I received email notifications with up-to-date tracking information. Before I knew it, the quoted amount was deposited directly into my Paypal account along with a $15 bonus from using a promo code. This entire process took place within the span of about 1-2 weeks. I didn't have to follow closely what was going on because it all happened in such a timely and seamless manner. I will certainly consider SYM the next time I have a device to sell.
