I found Sam's Computer Solutions and noticed it had over 100+ 5 Star Google reviews so I gave the shop a call and described my issue. He had flexible and fast availability and I was able to schedule an appointment to drop off my PC within two hours of making the call (the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend). The gentleman who greeted me was friendly, reassuring, and professional. He clearly outlined what options I had, what the price points for each option was, if and how each option would or would not change functionality, and asked which option I'd prefer! He made sure I was comfortable with the pricing before moving forward. It sounded good so I left my PC and he assumed me it was in good hands. I got a text the following Monday morning (A holiday no less) saying my PC was ready to be picked up. The repair cost was exactly the lowest price he had quoted. I made an appointment to pick it up later that afternoon. Upon arrival he described everything he did to fix it (installation of new component, where he wound the additional length of wire if I wish to change the placement of the part, and let me know he dusted everything which I appreciate). I just got home and plugged in my PC and the hardware he installed worked perfectly! I am extremely satisfied with how Sam's Computer Solutions handled me every step of the way from initial phone call to pickup. I didn't see any reviews on here for them, but decided to give them a shot anyways, and was pleasantly surprised by the level of service. I had purchased a computer on ebay that apparently had the wrong operating system and a ton of bootleg programs, which ultimately caused it to crash. The owner Chris, was awesome and showed me how to prevent this from happening again in the future. He opened up my computer where the battery goes, and showed me that it has the correct operating system stamped on there. He reinstalled the correct software for me, and over delivered on his promises. He quoted me a certain time frame, and he was super fast and proficient. I got my computer back just a few days after dropping it off. He also gave me a free virus protection program and saved everything that was on the hardrive and desk top. I was so relieved because I have my photography and graphic design stuff on here, and stupidly hadn't backed it up for awhile. I couldn't believe the price I paid. I would never consider taking my computers anywhere else. I reluctantly agreed as I was already deep into a $250 repair on a $400 laptop. When I picked up the laptop, my data WAS not on the new hard drive. I was told it was not recoverable and that I should go to Micro Center for help. I asked for the hard drive back. They reluctantly gave me the hard drive. For the repair, they used so much GLUE they is oozed out. Also, the machine does not close properly and I am using the "bad hard drive RIGHT now". I have sent them three emails and two phone calls. The owner is aways busy and does not respond These people are rip offs! Be ware!
