Always the best service. It reminds me of ham stores of old. Walk the isles and you never know what you'll find

Bought a starter radio there. I received great service even though i was buying a less expensive product. I so recommend R&L.

They usually have my item in stock and when they don't it's a hot item a large amount of ham radio operators want.

I wish there was a six out of five stars to leave. I called in to the sales team and they ended up…read morewalking me through troubleshooting for the issue and absolutely nailed the problem. And now I have to come to terms with the fact I will have to drive an extra 5 miles to buy electronics.

The sales people are pushy. They want you to buy from them. That's why they label your purchases…read morewith an ID that relates the sale back to them. There was ONE person that worked with from 2002 until he left, probably 2018 ish. Great guy. Would listen, then show options, not push for XYZ and unload with the "benefits" of purchases that are fully first world luxury items. The past few years - back to people who will tell you that whatever is in your hand is perfect for you if they think that is what your socioeconomic status can afford. Outside of that, their prices are reasonable, not competitive. The checkout line takes forever, even if there are only one or two people in front as they don't monitor the length of the line and then get sales people to the register with any kind of expediency. It's a fun trip to see a vast accumulation of tech. But it's not so fun when I expect to see someone with a cattle prod come around the corner, looking a bit like someone from Falling Down, expecting me to let them sticker my box to receive sale credit even though they didn't help me select it. And, yes, I agree with the other posts: their service department is...atrocious. If they do know what they're doing, perhaps it's management (fiscal pressures) that don't let them do their jobs, fully. If you go to them expecting any sort of accurate diagnosis with your hardware problem, not to mention fixing it: it's probably better to figure it out yourself if you have that aptitude. If you have a warranty - easy peasy. They give you a gift card and you go to town and get whatever it is you need when your thing breaks. And, of course, warranty sales are VERY important to the sales people. You'll hear about it several times from several people with any purchase from 50 bucks and up.

I like the company's products, obviously, as I've bought their offering numerous times. I know…read morethere are other companies who make similarly high-end competing products. but today is a great example of why I stick with Escort. I purchased a $650 radar over 2 years ago and completely out of the warranty period. The customer service I received from Michael was fantastic. He was prompt, efficient, didn't waste my time doing meaningless diagnostics, and friendly. The unit sat baking in the sun, fell a few times off the windshield, and didn't spend it's life in the protective case they provide. I didn't abuse it, but it was treated as a tool, not a piece of gentle consumer electronics. Yet, Escort Inc is repairing the unit for their standard $99 fee, a unit that they shipped to me well over 2 years ago, and I'm certain costs them more than $99 landed to their offices in Ohio. That's incredibly customer service. To get that level of support from Apple or Verizon I have to pay a monthly subscription/insurance fee. There is no financial reason that Escort should repair my unit for $99, when they could easily convert me into a sale of a newer Escort 360c product. And yet they are fixing my device, advising me that it's still the latest/greatest technology and replacing the mount at no cost. In 3 weeks, I'll have a brand new radar detector.

Have owned a 360, and then upgraded to the 360c. I must say there radar outperforms ANY other radar…read moreby far! A great quality piece of equipment, worth the price tag by far! I have also had to use to their customer service for an issue with the mount (was almost a year old and worn/breaking) and they replaced it to me at no charge and shipped it expeditiously! I was blown away by that! The max 360c has saved me countless times! I honestly look forward to upgrading to the Redline 360c and taking advantage of the new features! Thanks for what you guys do!!
