TORRIE a Spectrum sales specialist at the Newport location was a dream, she got us reconnected, sparing my husband from having to get a new number. She set him up with a new phone and we were able to get a trade in amount. She was super knowledgeable, she was calm while we were frantic. She put our concerns to rest and got us on our way. She was so wonderful and empathetic, she let us vent and as I said really turned things around for us when we were feeling very low and without hope. My husband is back in contact, able to make and recieve phone calls, connect to all his mobile bill pay apps, access his passwords.. all the things we took for granted and got complacent with as well all do. They are actively preventing me from cancelling my internet and phone plan. I'm currently in the process of filing a complaint on several websites including the FCC, FTC, and BBB. Will also mail a hard copy complaint and request to end service so I have a paper trail and can request a refund for refusing to cancel my plan while stealing my money. Save yourselves a headache and potentially getting scammed - don't use Spectrum!

I took it back the next day and was told I needed to file another claim for this repair. The guy said it looked like there was a shard of glass under the protective cover they installed. They obviously screwed it up, so they should fix it. Beware of these crooks. Update: I called Asurion and they sent the order to fix the screen they messed up. They fixed the screen and installed the screen protector that was on the damaged screen. You could see where the shard of glass was that broke the last screen. See, when we bought the phone he told us we could just come in, but when we did come in and he happened to be there, he said we'd have to call customer service. What sense does that make? I contacted my cell phone carrier and other than a replacement phone my options were limited. I tried several businesses for possible repair of a cell phone and I was directed to Wireless Plus One. 'Mike', Wireless PlusOne, informed me that he works on ALL types of cell phones and 80% of the times can repair the phone -- even if it's been dropped in water. I left my phone at Wireless Plus One for a couple of hours and they gave me loaner to use during the repair time. When I picked up the phone, it was in perfect working order! I would highly recommend using Wireless Plus One for any cell phone trouble (even drops in a bubble bath).

So off I went to a strip mall off the Hopple St. Viaduct to his store. It was very convenient and easy to find. I kicked back at Camp Washington Chili while Mike worked on my phone. I returned and Mike had surprising got my phone to finally turn on and display a software error; something my phone hadn't come close to doing at any point during my fiasco. I waited and watched Mike handle other customers as they came into the store. Always friendly and knowledgeable, Mike has a lot of return customers and I see why. He goes out of his way to be helpful no matter how small the request. And yes, he was almost as happy as I was when my Blackberry came back to life. The man has mad Blackberry repair skills. So if you're looking for reputable cell phone repair or sales store, this is the place to go.
