We came in for a 12 volt 2 amp cord but thanks to gentle attentive customer service- thanks Max!-- my dad found a laptop. Let's back up a minute... the woman at customer service set the tempo for the experience. She was patient and efficient and also helped us get a vacuum cleaner down to buy. My dad was looking for a shop vac, but the good vibes of the store inspired him to buy an upright standard vacuum cleaner. (My mom broke the zillion dollar Miele for the umpteenth time and it is now a workbench project.) We asked for help while there and Max initially could not help us-- it turned out that he had the keys and could not leave the computer desk. The woman from customer service came over and got the vacuum down for us. My dad was looking for a new laptop and the energy in the store convinced him that this was the day. Max was able to help us with this part of the shopping. He was a stand up. He gently took the arm of my blind father and assisted him, guiding him carefully to the computer department and helping him select a machine. Best Best Buy Ever.

This is a Best Buy outlet store that specializes in selling open-box and refurbished products. Great place to go if you are looking for a good deal on appliances. When people return an appliance because it doesn't fit, they decide they don't like it, damaged upon delivery, etc., it gets sent here. This store had tons of open-box refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washers, dryers, etc. marked down hundreds of dollars for things like "sticker residue" or "scratches" that are hardly visible. The electronics section was mediocre, but I didn't spend too much time looking over there. We made the drive here for a washing machine and it was well worth it - saved about $650.
