I talked about my terrible experience on a previous review. 4 months later the office manager called me to ask me how to help me in order to take away my image from the place and of course to delete my review in Yelp, she said Dr Lehfeldt called me and emailed me several times (I never received one message from him) in order to talk to me. She asked me several times how could I be helped and how could I fix my review, I asked her if it was possible if they could reimburse one of the 4 sessions I paid and she said perfect I will talk to the operations officer and will call you tomorrow...that was 3 weeks ago and they never called back again... read more

I had booked an appointment/consultation and it seems like they overbooked that day. So I ended up almost waiting more than 30 minutes after filling out my paperwork for the nurse. Flora was the nurse that consulted me and made me feel very safe about botox for my TMJ area. It took ALOT for me to resort to botox to alleviate my TMJ jaw pain. I've heard of others doing it and ultimately I don't regret doing it. I tried everything from going to a TMJ specialist, getting a new appliance, a chiropractor, etc.. and I can tell you they are experienced here to do it. Their price is fair. The more units of botox you buy, the cheaper it is per unit. I believe mine was 9$ per unit but I did about 20 units on each side of my masseter. Flora was gentle and explained aftercare and gave a little ice pack for me to take home. Overall, I would totally recommend this spa for because it is super clean, modern, and they are distinguished in the Pasadena area. I just do not truly recommend doing botox for TMJ jaw pain as long term treatment. It only lasted me a month which is not something to guide you by because most people should last a few months for TMJ pain. I am just constantly unknowingly clenching and grinding all day due to my high stress work environment. (oh healthcare..) There is a small free parking lot right in front of the med spa so don't worry about it. read more

I went to a lipoma resection and it was less painful than a routine dental cleaning. His skill and bedside manners are incomparable. Showed up for a tattoo removal consultation 10 minutes before my appointment. There were no other patients in the waiting room and only one other car in the parking lot. Waited in the exam room for 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment and eventually walked out. My time is just as important as any doctor or nurse's. My last update was taken down. I want to give another update of my experience at Radiance medical spa. I showed videos and photos of the look I was going for back in 4/2019. And I got the total opposite so Radiance med spa offered to fix me if I took my review down. I went for the fix. They had to inject me with a solution to dilute the Juvaderm. This process took a few weeks. Then they re-injected me with Juvaderm. I never got the look I wanted. And what I was used to dilute me has left permanent dots around my lips. See photos. Going to Ginny is not your average 12$ shape. 45$ and trust me I bulked at the price as well. So I limit my smoothie bowls and go see her once a month and just do the minor keep up myself to make sure I don't have a unibrow. She shapes them like no other . I have had my bad experiences of getting my eyebrow waxed so badly I was missing half an eyebrow, whereas Ginny gives your brows with less waxing and plucking and helps you with maintaining a full more natural look. For all of my medspa procedures I recommend Amanda.  I've been going to her for about 3 years now and she is amazing.  She is patient (with all of my annoying questions), she explains everything she is doing during my appointments (which helps with my anxiety) and she is always honest in what I need and how much.  I also appreciate that she is conservative with her injections.  She never wants me (or any of her patients for that matter) to look fake. Sidenote: On their website they have a "specials" tab. Make sure to check it. They usually have specials throughout the entire year! I recently had a surgical procedure done by Dr. Max.  I did all of my research and narrowed it down to two surgeons.  I chose Dr. Max for three reasons: 1) He is a perfectionist. You can see this in his work and how meticulous his entire office is! I loved his client before/after pictures and his resume! 2) He has amazing bedside manners. From our first consultation together, surgery day, post op appointments, he has always been caring, thoughtful and punctual.  He explains everything very well and is super personable--which I loved! 3) His office staff.  Cathy, the front desk manager is always so welcoming and efficient.  Bernice, graciously handled all of my insurance paperwork, prepped me for my surgery and followed up with me personally.  Anjelica and Michelle were super professional and knowledgeable when taking before/after photos and monitoring my progress.  They made me feel very comfortable when asking questions, etc. I am 6 weeks post op and am SO HAPPY with my results. I went to Radiance Med Spa about a week ago to get botox for my forehead "furrows." First of all, their front desk staff are all extremely warm, friendly, just a pleasure to be around. Kathy is pleasant and genuine. The girl who did my injections was down-to-earth and easy to talk to. Everyone had masks on, of course, so it's hard to know what anyone looks like or even what their facial expressions are, but that didn't pose an issue. I wish I had her name, but of course I can't remember it now. When I learn it at my next appointment, I will update my review. Anyway, she recognized that I didn't need much botox since I don't actually have any wrinkles yet -- it's mostly just a preventative measure. So she was "modest" with the amount injected so that now, a few weeks later, I can still raise my eyebrows, etc. I've been to other places that WAY overdid it, such that the upper part of my face is just frozen. Honestly, I think it's because the RNs/NPs that did it were white/Armenian girls, who usually have more developed wrinkles/thinner skin, etc., and maybe need more botox or fillers? I don't know. Anyway, all this to say that my wallet and I appreciate this girl had a light touch, which made the overall effect much more natural. I got my first treatment with a different provider in BH (who charges 3x the cost - stupid me for not knowing). Not only is this office more thorough, they're warmer and more welcoming. Summer is over; I have been waiting to get my sunspot treated now we have less sun exposure. I have been doing some research on picosure and heard it's an effective way of training hormonal skin pigmentation as well as sun damage. I made an appointment for a consultation, and was persuaded by their RN to do IPL instead. I had tried IPL in my early 20s and noticed the efficacy of the treatment even after 1 session. However, the results from my subsequent IPL treatments I had haven't been nearly as noticeable. I really resisted getting another round of IPL with Radiance Spa; nevertheless, I was told the if you don't get IPL before picosure, you might have hyper pigmentation? Can this be true? I ended up doing one round of IPL, then one round of Picosure. I think the IPL produced minimal results, if any. However, the picosure did remove some spots and brighten my skin. read more

I was looking for a new place in Pasadena to get Botox because it is closer. I used to get Botox in Beverly Hills but it's too far now! When I get used to an excellent botox place, I always go back again. Anh did my Botox and she did a great job. She has great skill and used the least amount of botox possible to achieve great results. I was super nervous about drooping, and when I go to a new botox place I always am nervous, but Ahn calm demeanor. Results were great! They also call to follow up with you but I was at work when they called. I would go back again to this place to get Botox. I went to Radiance to get BOTOX. I specifically go to see Justine because she does a great job and I don't have pain when she is injecting it. On this visit I decided to do some lip filler. I had done it once before with someone else and it was so extremely painful and it left my lips badly bruised for 2 1/2 weeks! Needless to say I was hesitant to do it again but I thought, I'll give Justine a try. OMG she did such a great job and it was painless with very minimal bruising. Justin is great!
