Please do not come here. I had my scar revision surgery with Dr. Max last year in February 2024. Within 7 days, I had an abdominal abscess infection that caused me pain. I ended up in the ER and they had to squeeze out the pus/infection from it. The office staff were decent enough to schedule month to month follow up appointments to ensure I had a smooth recovery with corticosteroid injections to reduce the appearance of the scar. It's been a year and my scar looks worse than I came in with. read more

I have been getting Botox and small tweaks and injections for almost 30 years and I have be going to Radiance as far back as I can remember (starting up at the La Canada location). I haven't written a review until now, but I just wanted to recognize Justine for her amazing bedside manner and technique. She is always super gentle and listens and has never once made me feel discomfort. I gave up on lip filler years ago from getting bad ones at another MedSpa. I ended up getting them dissolved and swore off of them. After getting several other procedures with Justine I finally trusted her to do my lips. They look perfect! Natural and just the right plump and shape. No one would know, but you know something looks better. Super happy with all she does, I would follow her anywhere. Also, a shout out to Roger at the front desk who always makes me smile, sweet Cathy who makes you feel at home and cared for and amazing Michelle who "runs" the place, who knows what she is doing and always makes time for you and gives the best advice on what would work for you. This review is to acknowledge the exceptional service provided by Dr Max Lehfeldt and his team. Without a doubt Dr Max & Michelle demonstrate exceptional care with their patients. I had a neck lift procedure performed and I am extremely happy with the results and the outcome. It was a long process for me due to my age ( as it seems as though younger patients may heal faster) however, Dr Max and Michelle walked me through it every step of the way. In my opinion, there is no Dr. like Dr. Max that is absolutely dedicated to making sure that the outcome has an excellent result and they are sympathetic and understanding to any concerns after surgery- their communication and understanding is beyond reproach. Michelle who is Dr Max's right hand and Medical Assistant is very thorough and will continuously check on you days and weeks after surgery. During the first weeks I did experience some pain but Michelle was kind enough to always ease my mind, answer my texts and walk me through my concerns. Michelle is not only beautiful, but her having had surgeries by Dr Max herself allows her to guide you through the post operative stages. Excellent Med Spa with outstanding results. read more

The good: the med spa is clean and the people who work there are polite and professional with the clients. I've had Botox done here with good results. The bad: I had sclerotherapy recently and it was a disappointment from the beginning. The nurse Gigi was late to my appt because she was busy with another client. No big deal except that she rushed through my procedure. I paid for 30 minutes and she worked on my veins for 15 minutes. She put compression tape over each area she treated and I was unable see how many veins she left untreated. Also she didn't wear glasses and commented that she couldn't see the veins I was pointing to. I would need magnifying glasses myself if I were doing her job so I was surprised she didn't think to wear glasses or magnifying lenses. It was pretty much a waste of $265. The positive (?) is that I didn't have much bruising because she treated so few veins read more

I had booked an appointment/consultation and it seems like they overbooked that day. So I ended up almost waiting more than 30 minutes after filling out my paperwork for the nurse. Flora was the nurse that consulted me and made me feel very safe about botox for my TMJ area. It took ALOT for me to resort to botox to alleviate my TMJ jaw pain. I've heard of others doing it and ultimately I don't regret doing it. I tried everything from going to a TMJ specialist, getting a new appliance, a chiropractor, etc.. and I can tell you they are experienced here to do it. Their price is fair. The more units of botox you buy, the cheaper it is per unit. I believe mine was 9$ per unit but I did about 20 units on each side of my masseter. Flora was gentle and explained aftercare and gave a little ice pack for me to take home. Overall, I would totally recommend this spa for because it is super clean, modern, and they are distinguished in the Pasadena area. I just do not truly recommend doing botox for TMJ jaw pain as long term treatment. It only lasted me a month which is not something to guide you by because most people should last a few months for TMJ pain. I am just constantly unknowingly clenching and grinding all day due to my high stress work environment. (oh healthcare..) There is a small free parking lot right in front of the med spa so don't worry about it. read more

I talked about my terrible experience on a previous review. 4 months later the office manager called me to ask me how to help me in order to take away my image from the place and of course to delete my review in Yelp, she said Dr Lehfeldt called me and emailed me several times (I never received one message from him) in order to talk to me. She asked me several times how could I be helped and how could I fix my review, I asked her if it was possible if they could reimburse one of the 4 sessions I paid and she said perfect I will talk to the operations officer and will call you tomorrow...that was 3 weeks ago and they never called back again... read more
