Eggplant with Garlic & Tomato Paneer Tikka Masala

If you walk in knowing what to expect, it's a great experience! I went on a weekday evening, so it wasn't very busy. The owner and waiters are so friendly and helpful, they actually shared some suggestions of items they could make, that were not on the menu (since some ingredients are seasonal). It's a nice, cute eatery with a twist on Indian food... but not overly different than the original dish. The flavors are AMAZING! The only suggestion I would provide is to ask for the food mild/medium if you are unable to handle the spice :)

South Pasadena. I enjoyed my meals at Radhika and love this neighborhood resto. Radhika serves modern, inventive and delicious Indian food. I also love the cool art and environs. It is located across from the South Pasadena metro stop so it's super convenient to get here if you prefer public transport. Radhika is the only Indian restaurant in the area and I love eating here. They serve Indian beer also. Service is helpful and informative. Sometimes the owner is about and checks in on the customers. Super nice. I've tried this resto 3 times now and have not been disappointed. End of Yelp.

This is so unfair. Caveat for the review: it's the 4th of July. I'm hungry for curry and Anime Expo is in DTLA this week. Server & chef were awesome. BEST INFORMAL/FORMAL INDIAN spot. From upscale casual lunch to wine&dine, 5/5 LOCATION In south Pasadena next to the Gold Line metro rail. Hop on and walk across the street. (Goes to Azusa). Cute little location on the corner. The pleasant sound of train crossing. Bonus: Fun people watching as they return from Anime Expo DTLA & cosplay. PARKING Super Simple free street parking for two hours. If it's a holiday, park for longer. Lots of parking nearby. TAKE AWAY they do a brisk take away service. There is no "standing zone" to run in and run out. You'll have to park. SERVICE Extraordinary. Our server was the nicest. I wanted more than "mild" but didn't want the "insanity level" that I usually like my saag at. He said if my dish wasn't spicy enough, they'd make it hotter. It was perfect. FOOD Papadum Of course was fantastic. And the imli tamarind chutney was soooo good. None of that watered down nonsense. I think they used dates in their recipe too. Give me this on vanilla ice cream? Green chutney was great too. FISH CURRY My wife loved it. Tender flakey fish. It's NOT made with flour/wheat dredge. For wheat sensitive people, thumbs up. The curry is spicy but doesn't overpower the fish. PANEER TIKKA MASALA Nice firm paneer chunks. LOTS of them. Get this with a side of naan to keep your fingers clean. And some rice to soak up all the sauce. So good. Of course it's ghee crazy, but so delicious when you need it. Limited vegetarian entree list, but the paneer makes up for it. REGULAR NAAN Good size. Buttery presentation. One per person. Note: Dear carb-loader, get two. RICE Goes with curry. Order it. Fragrant. Nicely cooked. There's a nice wine list. Too hot to try today, next time.

Radhika offers up some delicious dishes and great views of the metro racing by every few minutes (big hit with the kids!). Looking out into the neighborhood, it feels like being in a quaint town faraway from LA. I absolutely loved the Dry Fruit Banana Chicken Korma, which came with garlic naan. I hadn't had a korma quite like that before and would definitely order again. The Paneer Tikka Masala was also amazing. I found the food to be quite flavorful, and the Taj Mahal beer served in a large frosty beer mug was completely refreshing, The service was also polite and attentive. The inside ambiance could use a little work, but I'll be back for the food!

Radhika Modern has become my favorite Indian restaurant. The samosas are the best I've ever had. All the food is super flavorful and the customer service is great. I highly recommend them.

The food was impeccable, the service was fast and friendly and helpful and engaging, the cost was equal to the quality and quantity provided, and the location was clean and inviting!

YUM YUM AMAZING Their food is incredible. We came in early on a Saturday night and were sat quickly. The inside is very nice. My mom and I shared the Chicken tikka masala, an order of basmati rice, and garlic naan. It was all AMAZING. And plenty of food for 2 people. We had leftovers They also brought us a little appetizer on the house before hand. I'm not sure was it was, a crispy thin cracker with 3 dips. So yummy! And so appreciated. The service is outstanding. Our water was never empty. It's south pas so parking is pretty easy, we got a street spot right out front Safe to say I will be returning, and frequently

One was for DineLA and one was for a Yelp event in the summer. This location has multiple parking garages to choose from near the building. This location in Pasadena was nice, just a bit smaller than the other one. The decorations are gorgeous and eye catching. We came in to use our SGV passport for the order of Pani Puri Shots. These were so good went we first tried them and couldn't want to get these again. We came in right before 3pm and they run a daily lunch special from 11:30am - 3pm. The staff was welcoming and worked very hard as she was the only server managing a few tables. We opted for 2 orders of the Pani Puri shots (one free from the SGV passport deal) and the Chicken Curry Lunch Special. The food took some time to come out but worth the wait. The Pani Puri shots were the best! I love the set up and presentation. The little mini cart even moves around with its wheels. You pour em up in the puffs and eat it in one bite! I like the flavor of the pani so I sip some too. :D As for the chicken curry, the flavors were delicious. The portions are good for one person but we shared. The naan was freshly made. The airy and crispiness makes it a great pairing with the whole meal. This location delivered on flavors and was consistent with the other restaurant. The food left us very happy! Thanks, All India Cafe! ( ^_^)b

Came here twice before writing this review. First visit was 4/5. We got the shrimp tandoori and…read morekorma. I enjoyed both, especially the shrimp tandoori because they used jumbo shrimp. The korma was good in that it had that creamy texture, but it didn't quite have that very richness that I love about Indian curry. Taste wise, it was super mild and it didn't really bring out the flavors from the spices. We got naan on the side, and this was a miss for me, mainly because it wasn't very fluffy. Actually, it was on the flatter side and the texture was a bit hard. We got a side of the pani puri as well and I enjoyed the flavors from the sauce and textures. Honestly, this was probably the most flavorful thing we had. My second visit was 2/5. I got the chicken tikka masala this time, and I found this to be really disappointing. It was so watered down that the texture was soupy. It was also super bland too. Way too mild and I couldn't taste any of the spices. We got the korma again because my fiancé liked it from the first time, and comparing the two side by side, the korma was thicker. Should I come back on future visits I'll definitely repurchase the shrimp tandoori, but the tikka masala is a hard pass for me.

Our server Jessica was awesome. She recommended some great Indian beers and a vegetarian dish for my wife. The Tandoori chicken I ordered was so flavorful and the portion was huge with rice on the side. We had 2 appetizers that were delicious. We hardly had room for the Indian dessert which I believe is made from a family recipe by the owner Amar. The owners Jesse and Amor visited our table and were super friendly and attentive. But that's not all later the Indian music starts with a light show!! We had a great time left stuffed and we will surely be back.

That said I have "rediscovered" it lately and have gone to a few restaurants and visited the Ice House. I wanted indian food to celebrate my kids birthday as she loves it. We went there on a Thursday nite. Not a very busy place. And I saw no indians there, so i was a bit worried. Even the menu was not 100% indian good. So yes..i was a bit concerned. But there were a few of our favorites on the menu so we ordered. As I recall chicken Masala and another tandori chicken dish, as well as some curry chickpeas and Lamb Biryiani. And of course plenty of Naan. All the food was great. And the waiters/bartenders...super nice guys and very helpful. So turned out to be a great experience. So if you have an itch for some indian cuisine, but are possibly thinking that this place may not be 100% authentic..well..I can say the food and service was excellent for what I had.

For my beverage I ordered a mango lasso. For my food, I ordered aloo gobi vegetable thali. It came with naan, lentil, and basmati rice. The entree was the aloo gobi which is potato cauliflower curry. He asked if I wanted mild for the spice level and I said yeah. It took around 10-15 minutes for my food to arrive. It was pretty mild, I should've asked for medium instead, I like when spicy food has a kick to it. The aloo gobi had a lot of sauce which I liked because in other recipes there doesn't seem to be a lot. The lentils were easy to chew and soft. My dad noticed that one fan wasn't on. He said it was hot and I didn't think so. I like the tapestry and banners up for decoration. There were at least 4 other tables filled. There was music playing but it stopped a few times.
