They include a lot of the traditional herbs and ingredients you need to eat during postpartum such as ginger, ginseng, and goji berries! My wife especially loved the herbal chicken soup. The portion sizes were also more than enough for the both of us and most times we even had leftovers for the next day. My wife also loved the lactation cookies so I asked if we could have the recipe and they were so kind to give it to us. Overall I would recommend Ma's Oasis to anyone looking for postpartum meals. We ordered the 30day and the Ma's Oasis team made us feel really supported throughout the entire duration of the service. Deliveries were always on time and they used insulated boxes to keep the food fresh. 10/10 will be using them again for our next baby.

I spoke with Alice before starting my plan and did a trial meal with them first. The food was so good and I even had my mom try the food with me for her approval. (She approved). Alice was also extremely kind and accommodating throughout my 30 day plan. She would check in on me to see how I was doing and if I was enjoying the food. They also had a variety of different foods which I liked because I didn't get tired of eating them. I was surprised they even had wontons, dumplings, and noodles! All so good!! Ordering from them was the best decision I made because it helped relieve so much stress and the food was delicious and good for my recovery. When I have my second kid, I will be ordering from them again.

They have a website, QR code, and you can pay by credit card when you want to order. No need to buy a huge portion just to get a to-go box. It's just enough good food. Good vibes, good service, and especially good home-cooked food, good prices, and good portions.

The kitchen is operated and co-owned by wife Gina Garcia Gancedo (who worked as the pastry chef at Nickel Diner) and husband Jason Gancedo (who worked as the executive chef at Cole's). [Parking]: Residential street parking only and I didn't have an issue finding an available spot on Sunday. [Ambiance]: The backyard has been turned into a makeshift outdoor patio dining area. There is a bathroom available for use inside the house. There is also a small bookshelf at the entrance with free books for kids or adults to read. [Ordering]: Our party walked in, found an available table, scanned a QR code on the table to view the menu (no app required), and placed an order. The kitchen offers complimentary beverages like orange juice, coffee, soda, and water (donations are appreciated but not required). Customers can pick from an assortment of mugs to fill with black coffee or orange juice. They also accept takeout orders via their website. [Menu]: The top two items to get are the Breakfast Burrito (Simple, Chipotle Bacon, Sausage, Andouille Sausage, Triple Pork, Chorizo, Chile Verde, and Sunrise Veggie) and the Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich (#1 best seller). *** Triple Pork Breakfast Burrito (a warm flour tortilla filled with three fluffy scrambled eggs, chipotle bacon, homemade pork sausage, andouille sausage, handcrafted triple-cooked fries, and sharp cheddar cheese. Served with a side of salsa de molcajete - $13.25): This breakfast burrito had no potatoes and had French fries instead. It was a melty burrito and tasted excellent. The homemade salsa was just right with the right amount of heat and not overly vinegary. Biscuit & Miso-Honey Butter (Gina's fresh-baked buttermilk biscuit, moist and fluffy, paired with whipped miso-honey butter - $2.50): A very delicious biscuit and not overly sweet. *** Gina's experience as a pastry chef combined with Jason's experience as an executive chef = a 5-star combo. It was one of the most unique brunch experiences I have had in a long time and it was also one of the best breakfast burritos I have had in LA County.

Top Five Reasons Why I Adore Muscle Up Meals, especially, for my 1500 calories per day:…read more 1. Nutrition Content and Container Sizes. It allows me to specifically pick the low carb meals that I want and/or be able to compare and contrast the various calories between Balanced, Keto, Low Carb and Vegetarian meals. The containers also come in four sizes: Small (4oz), Medium (5oz), Large (6oz) and Extra Large (8oz), so that you can gauge how much food you might need (I'm good w/the Medium Sizes). If you're not sure, you can also contact Muscle Up Meals. Best of all, I can easily enter the information into MyFitnessPal app. 2. The meals are affordable, which allows me to alternate between breakfast and lunch. 3. There's no commitment - I'm not forced into a packaged meal/subscription. I can do a la carte style and choose whichever meals to fit my nutrition goals. 4. The meal deliveries are promised w/in time frame and are packaged neatly and tightly. 5. (Saving the best for last), the Owner - Adam Karapetyan. He went from "Obese to Muscle Beast in 14 months, losing over 200lbs!" Partnering up w/Executive Chef Jesse Munk (who also lost 60lbs), "Each meal is prepared to be 5 Star Delicious as well as precisely weighed and measured to ensure each meal provides the optimum nutrition to help you reach your fitness goals." Proof is definitely in the pudding (pun intended, hehe!). Meal Deliveries: Sundays (between 6pm to 12am midnight) and Mondays (between 10am to 6pm). There's no specific time on when they will deliver. However, you will receive a text notification on your driver's Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA). It will also include the driver's name, and the car's make, model and license plate (in case you're at home to receive the delivery and want to make sure it is actually them). If you're not home, the meals come in an insulated bag w/cooling gel packs (lasting up to 15 hours) to keep your food fresh. Deadline to Order: Friday by Noon. However, if you miss the deadline, you can always contact them. Examples of my first breakfast and lunch entrees w/Muscle Up Meals: Breakfast Items: 1. Low Carb - Breakfast Tacos served w/green salsa verde. 2. Low Carb - Eggwhite Breakfast Tacos served w/green salsa verde. Both versions were delicious, extremely satisfying and kept me energized throughout my mornings at work. The lean ground turkey meat, scrambled eggs/eggwhite were seasoned perfectly w/out tasting too salty or bland. The cauliflower tortillas were fluffy, hearty and tasty. I tossed both the green salsa verde since they were too spicy for me and the breakfast tacos were satisfying w/o it. Lunch Entrees 1. Balanced - Blackened Chicken served w/cauliflower and grain rice. Extremely good! Bummer, they didn't have it for this next week's order. The chicken breast was tender and juicy, while the cauliflower was crunchy and grained rice was nicely cooked. 2. Low Carb - Turkey Meatloaf served w/broccoli florets and grain rice. The turkey meatloaf was good but tasted a bit too mushy for me. Whereas the broccoli florets and grain rice were perfectly cooked and filling. I may try out the Balanced or Keto version at some point. 3. Low Carb - Chicken Tenders (2pcs) Plate served w/a chipotle sauce, roasted Brussel sprouts and cauliflower rice. The chicken tenders were hearty w/a little bit of heat to them. The chipotle sauce was too spicy for me. The roasted Brussel sprouts were a bit al-dente, but I still dig it. The cauliflower rice was also tasty, a little bit of heated kick (still edible). 4. Low Carb - Chicken and Cauliflower Rice. My last and simplest meal for the week, which was tender, moist and flavorful. Overall, I highly recommend Muscle Up Meals. I will definitely continue w/them and have already ordered my second batch of food! (Stayed tuned, I'll continue posting pics of new meals).
