Let me add my 2-cents worth about the great service, great prices and great end results coming from what was a VERY FRUSTRATING problem with my Windows 10 desktop that I spent 3 days trying to fix on my own before I came across Mark. The mouse pointer disappeared overnight. That mouse worked on my laptop and the working laptop mouse also didn't work on the desktop. The DT keyboard continued to work so I had some "control" and could attempt the fixes I found when researching the problem and the suggested fixes I was able to find on the laptop. Nothing worked! I found RAD Computers and within minutes of contacting them, Mark texted me with his phone number---I called him immediately. After explaining the problem over the phone, he said that was becoming a common problem with the latest W-10 update and he'd been working on several others already. We talked price and shop location and I was convinced that's the place to go so the next morning I dropped it off. After going over the problem and potential solution(s), he recommended a Solid State hard-drive replacement that made sense and that he would set up the current large capacity but somewhat flawed HD as an internal back-up that could also be used to back up the laptop--my go-to business device. I brought the lap top in the next morning and by mid-afternoon (1) the desktop mouse pointer problem was solved, (2) the solid state hard-drive was installed, (3) the "old" hard drive was configured to be the back-up to the DT and laptop, (4) the two devices were synced and OF COURSE, (5) all my files, documents, bookmarks, etc. were right where they needed to be--all done in about a 24-hour drop-off to pick-up time-frame! I hope I won't need his services again BUT I know where to go and who to recommend to anyone needing reliable, trustworthy, reasonably priced computer services! read more

I HIGHLY, highly, highly recommend RAD computers to anyone in need of exceptional customer service AND affordable prices!! Although mine took a bit longer to fix than their norm (over a week due to many hiccups since my laptop was a bit ancient), I was still beyond pleased with Mark and his awesome fiancé Brittany. They are attentive, kind, and professional. They understand the customer and truly put their needs first. If you are a Mac user, such as myself, I figured I would need to go somewhere else that would cost me an arm and a leg, but RAD computers proved their expertise in technology and were able to help me out promptly. The same night my computer decided to fail me, Mark fit me into his busy schedule that same night and eased my frustration by informing me that they would be able to handle the situation within days. Plus, they have great insight on additional products that would enhance your technological needs. Communication is via text and email so it is pretty convenient. The only suggestion I would like to provide, is to stay on top of emails just a little bit more, but I know how busy you guys are so that's why it did not deter me from leaving you 5 stars and expressing my gratitude towards you BOTH! I never use yelp but had to because of how great this place is. Mark helped me more then he ever had to. Very professional and personal at the same time. Goes above and beyond for customers. Is up front with you and honest by telling you if you need things or not. Review- A while back my screen was cracked (the plastic covering, not the led) and mark looked into it to find the cheapest way to fix it. He found out that to replace the plastic, heat treatment and other factors would need to done to get it done that would take a lot of time. He found a couple options and one was finding 1 of two parts known to just switch out for a reasonable price. Not only did he save the receipt to show me what the costs were, he tolded me if I could find one cheaper, he would. I have never seen someone that shows you how much things cost for the people fixing your laptop. After he got the part he also cleaned the inside of my laptop from dust and smoke build up (from previous owner. I bought it used). Mark also answered questions I had such as upgrading the ram and HD size. Then he showed me how to do it as soon I would not have to pay for installation. Basically mark was being a friend trying to save me money when he could be charging me for things I was willing to pay for since I didn't know how easy it was. I recently had trouble with my computer shutting off for no reason (that I knew of). They were close by where I lived, so I took it in on a Saturday. He worked on it while I was in the shop. It took no time at all for Mark to diagnose what was going on & help me get the problem resolved. As he worked on my computer, he told me everything he was doing and was very informative. Turns out my computer needed a new power cord (and eventually a new battery). Mark even pointed me in the direction to get a inexpensive power cord, which fixed my problem asap. To add to how great the service was, he didn't even charge me for diagnosing the problem. This is something that never happens. All the other computer places I've taken computers to in the past, charge you for even looking at it. I'm really grateful and glad that I found such a knowledgeable and friendly business. I don't normally write reviews (bad or good), but I had to send out praise to the level of customer service, knowledge and speed that Rad Computers (and Mark) provided. I had to write something, so that if someone was deciding where to take in their computer, they would take it to a great business and not get taken by some of the scams that are advertising in Phoenix/Tempe area. I cannot thank RAD Computers enough for helping me with my laptop problems. They really are Resourceful-Affordable-Dependable...For months it has been freezing up and giving me error messages. Then I found Mark on a neighborhood message board and reached out with a question. Not only did he get back to me immediately, but he turned out to be the Owner of RAD Computers in Mesa who is in the process of opening a new shop here in Maricopa! I recently had the pleasure of working with RAD Computers to build my content creation rig, and I have nothing but praise for the exceptional service and expertise they provided. Paul was the mastermind behind the build, and he kept me updated every step of the way. From start to finish, Paul's attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction was impressive. You know that horrible feeling when your PC crashes and you are without email, google searches, internet et al, - so anyway I find this guy owner MARK BUSH and drive to his shop with my HP desktop. Walking in I expect to wait forever, but NO, he takes the box, pops the back off, starts running diagnostic software, checks it out thoroughly and has it running great in a few minutes. And then won't let me pay him saying "we offer FREE diagnostics" Long story longer, I've been back THREE times and each time he fixes it or tells me the exact issue, and then says "no charge" I'm like dude! here's five bucks buy yourself a burrito! (that's because one time I called and Mark said "I'll be right back, I'm going out to get a breakfast burrito" So, you've got computer problems? Take it to 2655 W. I've been around builds, repairs, and accessory issues with computers for over a decade now and there are 3 reasons RAD Computers is my new 'go to' spot. 1) Their first concern is giving a thorough/complimentary diagnosis and making sure repairs are even necessary in the first place- which saves me $50-$100 right off the bat every time. I wanted to give RAD Computers 10 stars, but Yelp will only let you choose 5 :( I found this place on Yelp, because the liquid cooling system of my desktop computer failed (it's a gaming computer with an i7-3930K 3.2GHZ, but I actually use it for work to run microclimate simulations). Mark is absolutely fabulous! Super friendly and knowledgeable and he truly cares about his customers and their computers! He switched my liquid cooling system to a high performance air cooling system (less maintenance, very quiet) AND overclocked my machine from 20% to 31.25% so that I can run my models even faster. Pricing was transparent and extremely affordable. RAD computers were also flexible about pick up and drop off times and locations. Mark provided excellent service all around and I highly recommend RAD computers to anyone looking for computer service!!! I wont write that much this time, as I have another repair, after which I am entitled for another review. I used google service, to see where I could take care of my problem, thinking about next day. But I got reply almost instantly when I enquired about my problem to RAD Computers. I should point out that this is my first time ever, using PC repair service as I can pretty much take care of my computers, so I really needed professional help. I brought my PC to Mark in about an hour and I cannot tell how much amazed I was, about his knowledge and his patience, when doing his work. Couple hours later, I went home with my issue taken care of. It was $2K laptop and I was little nervous about whole thing when issue arose. As a comp sci student whose laptop suddenly broke mid-semester, I've never felt so compelled to throw my money at an establishment. I sent the same message requesting a quote to many different laptop repair places and they were asking for up to twice of what Mark was asking for, saying that my motherboard could be damaged when I knew it was in fact a fairly simple issue. They said that it could take up to 2 weeks because the parts had to be "special ordered". Mark had the part delivered to him the same day that I requested the quote and he had my laptop fixed the same day that I got it to him. It now works better than it did before it broke. The best part for me was that he streams while he works, so I watched my baby get fixed live from the comfort of Twitch chat. This summer, it was June or July, I called Mark about upgrading my old, clunky computer. It is now November, and I am still so thrilled with the work Mark did that I'm taking the time to write a review. Mark took the time to really listen to my needs (half professional, half gaming), he offered suggestions, and then he did some of the most brilliant strategic shopping to keep the cost of parts low. His rates for labor are more than acceptable, and he is also a genuinely nice person (even my cats like him!). RAD Computers more than met my expectations - they exceeded those expectations. I have now moved out of Mark's service area, but I would make the 45-minute drive to work with Mark again when it comes time to re-upgrade my machine. I was on vacation and noticed the battery in my MacBook Pro was swelling. I contacted AppleCare, and as all Apple Stores in AZ are CLOSED I was referred to a third-party provider. (Insert panic). As a member of a networking group, I reached out to Mark for an estimate and turnaround time to repair. AMAZINGLY AWESOME experience. Not only was Mark SUPER responsive, he ordered the replacement part I needed so that it would be here when I returned. I went into a store to buy a new monitor for my laptop, when my computer screen stopped working. They recommended I try to have it fixed and recommended RAD computers. I talked to Mark (RAD computers) and he said it would be $120 to replace my screen, but said he would like to check out my lap top first. She spent an hour taking my computer apart, finding, fixing the problem and putting my computer back together. It turned out to be a bad connection. The problem was fixed, while I waited for half the price of the original estimate. Mark seemed vary knowledgeable about computers, and fixed the problem while I waited. I've been working with Mark of RAD Computers for over five years. When I brought my PC to him for a tune-up, Mark recommended that I change to a "Solid State" drive due to its robust engineering and reputation for saving data. A year later that same PC met with a wall and was destroyed. When I brought the ruins to Mark, he removed the Solid State drive and installed it in a new PC. No data was lost! I purchased an inexpensive new laptop for home use and quickly found out it was so slow that I could barely use it. After reading all of their great reviews, I took the laptop into RAD where Aaron explained what the issue was and how he could help. He first backed up all of my information, swapped out the existing mechanical hard drive for a new SSD drive, loaded all new Windows 10 and put my information back onto the new drive. He even threw in some office software! The laptop is lightning fast now and works better than I had hope for. One day my laptop just can't be turned on at all (most likely the board or the power supplier issue) and I started to look for computer repair service. I actually just want to recover my data and did not care if the computer can be fixed. I went to another store at first (which also has pretty good rating on yelp). After two days they told me all my data are fried they are done there's no way to recover blahblahblah....Fortunately I did not give up and took my laptop to RAD and Aaron identified the problem within just 5 minutes and eventually recovered all my data.
