I've had my racquets restrung at several different tennis shops before, but I probably won't be going anywhere else after this. I've brought in four different racquets here, and every time they've finished earlier than promised. It also feels like they really try to work around my schedule, which I appreciate. I don't remember the owner's name, but he's always been great--patiently answering my questions about stringing and just easy to talk to overall. The only downside is that they seem a bit understaffed, and the shop itself is small and a little cluttered compared to more polished tennis stores. I agree 100% with the previous reviews. John is the GOAT. First, he's a tournament-level stringer, having strung on the pro tour for many years. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and can guide you through customizing your racket to fit, similar to the consultation that pro players get. He's also been in the tennis industry long enough that other tournament stringers, the tennis brands, etc. know him by name. The two brothers who own this shop have done stringing for many professional tennis tournaments around the world including the Grand Slams (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and the U.S. Open). I know them personally and in addition to being excellent stringers, they are just great people. Please use them when re-stringing your tennis, badminton or racquetball rackets! You will be very pleased! They use the best equipment - Babolat Star 4 stringing machines among others. Also, they have a Babolat RDC (checks weight, swingweight, balance, and flex) that they use to customize and match your tennis racquets so they all feel, weigh, and swing the same. If you need anything done to your tennis racquet, these guys can get it done. If they can't, then no one can. They have a large selection of tennis racquets, tennis strings, and tennis balls from all the major manufacturers (YONEX, Prince, Wilson, Head, Babolat, etc.). Very nice gentleman at the store. We just bought a house it is currently in escrow and has a tennis court. So I needed some supplies for the whole family and my baby niece and I bought my baby needs a tennis racket. I'm coming back to buy rackets for the whole family soon. First off...i like the name of the store....I spelled it both ways not knowing which was correct.......they're both correct! Anyhow...I went here to string my new aeropro racket....he suggested the strings to use and the tension also which I appreciated...too many choices is confusing to say the least....he did all of it while i waited for under 30.00 which included tax....and added the logo, which is a nice touch.....such a great job....I think I might go there and pick me up a tennis bag also! I like having my rackets customized completely for myself and have never had an issue getting any work done by them here. Whether it be hybrid stringing, adding weight, weight matching multiple rackets or changing the grip size of my racket (assuming you have a Head or Volkl...or you're like me and go through the hassle of chipping away the polyeurathane foam base on other models), these guys have been able to do it all for me. They give great string recommendations and they both get your string jobs done quickly and accurately. They really are the best shop in town. I have been coming to this shop since i started playing tennis at 8 years old. 15 years later, I dont go to any other place for my stringing needs. John and Julian are the best around at what they do. The quality of their work is more than just a simple string job, its an art. Watching them string is like watching a conductor conducting an orchestra, every weave they do on the racket flows smoothly and without struggle too. They are experienced stringers who travel the world stringing for the top pros and with that experience, they have gained alot of knowledge that they are always more than happy to share with anyone who asks. Beyond the stringing, there is the weight and balancing of the rackets. If you need your rackets to be heavier or matching your other rackets, or even copying your favorite pro, they do it all. If you want a string that compliments your playing style but not sure what string to use, they will always recommend what is best for you, and the tension you should have it at. John and Julian are professionals at what they do, not even professionals, they are experts. One of my favorite things about this shop is that immediately when you walk in, there is a glass vualt that has actual professional player rackets with personalized autographs and with that in mind not just anyone can get their hands on those type of rackets. I have been coming to this shop for 15 years and I will continue coming to this shop for 15 more years and 15 more years after that and so on. Knowledgeable and very friendly. I strung a Wilson BLX Six.One Tour with Babolot RPM Blast 16 ($17) and got grommet ($7) thing for the head part only. Came out to $57 which is pretty expensive. When I got it back, it came in one of those bags that you see on tv when the pros pull out a new racket which is cool. They also put the the sticker on to tell you string type, tension, and when you strung to help you gauge when you should re-string. Played with it right after, and i felt good, but then I've been to quite a few different places, and I've never had an issue with the string job being so poor i could say...yea this was the reason I lost or why I couldn't place the ball where I wanted to. My friend goes here and he's says he can tell the difference, so if you're not really worried about price, or only string once in a while, i'd definitely go here. As for me, this is going to be place #2 to string at when place #1 isn't available because they can turnaround a racket quick, have a wide selection of strings, and from what i can tell do a good job. read more

John is very detail-oriented. If something is wrong he fixes it. I gave him a racket to string with missing and chipped grommets and without me asking he added plastic spaces so the string wouldn't rub on the graphite. Have you seen how well he wraps a grip? The man is a master. Demo program is great. Cost of a demo goes toward your racket purchase. Not a huge shop but it has well-selected items. Even simple stuff like a hat is well-chosen. John is a little on the pricier end if you need to get your racquet strung, but he does a fantastic job. It's the only place I've ever been to where the racquet feels crisp and responsive after a string job with no break-in period. The racquet came professionally handled with a cool plastic bag and rubber band dampener like the pros. He was telling me that he used to work on Andre Aggassi's team back in the day and gave me a free can of balls with my racquet purchase. He usually finishes the racquet in the same day. read more

Excellent family-owned tennis shop. Very knowledgeable and capable. Great selection of rackets at lower prices than any of the huge chain stores including those online hence why I bought my Yonex E-Zone 100 and Babolat AeroProDrive GT from them. They do an amazing job of both restringing and "factory" grip replacements. There is clothing here but the selection of that is limited. Nevertheless, If you're serious about your tennis, this is the place to go. If you're a beginner, they will offer advice and never push you in to anything.
