I've brought in four different racquets here, and every time they've finished earlier than promised. It also feels like they really try to work around my schedule, which I appreciate. I don't remember the owner's name, but he's always been great--patiently answering my questions about stringing and just easy to talk to overall. The only downside is that they seem a bit understaffed, and the shop itself is small and a little cluttered compared to more polished tennis stores. That said, they still carry everything you need, whether you're shopping for gear or just getting your racquet restrung.

Was referred here by a friend to get my racket restrung. Glad I did because the owner was very…read morenice and made me feel welcome. He restrung my racket in about 30 minutes. Did not try to upsell me anything and recommended me strings for my arcsaber play. The place is a relatively small shop, but I got to know the owner. He said his shop has been here for a very long time. I actually drive by this place on my way to play badminton, but have never really seen it! His prices are incredibly reasonable, and I would surely come back to get a racket restrung. As far as shuttlecock or rackets for purchase, the selection is quite limited. The shuttlecocks were a bit pricey for the high quality ones, so I did not opt for them. He noted costs for shuttlecocks increased significantly due to tariffs. Anyhow, I am all for supporting small businesses, and he seems like an honest, genuine shop owner. Hope to see his shop succeed! Parking is available in front, shared with the rest of the plaza. Did not have any problems finding parking when I came.

You can really tell he takes pride in his work and pays close attention to the small details that make a big difference. What I appreciate most is the extra time and care he puts into each ball. Just got fitted for irons today, after the whole process I really wish I went here first! JEFF IS…read moreAMAZING. Initially went to club champion in Santa Monica for a full bag fitting. He said they were the Ferrari of club fitters. "Master Fitter" had me hit my 7 iron and then had me hit different 6 irons. He ran the numbers on the "optimizer" and said I could only get 10 yards more from my 7 iron and that the club was doing its job. Stopped the iron fitting there and went to driver. Today, Jeff had me warm up, casually asking about my game, usual ball flight etc. He explained to me the potential causes of my misses. One of the reasons being, the club was too light. He gave me a lot of really priceless swing tips. We worked on with different shafts and heads... he explained the process and connected it to my swing. He put stickers on the face to show where I was hitting the ball. He always reviewed distance trends and took in to account the flight of my misses. Thankfully I was able to execute his tips and the average carry of my 7 iron was amazing. On course, my TOTAL distance would be 120. After Jeff's club and swing magic, my CARRY was 130. Total sometimes 140-150. So excited to get my new set of irons. My only regret is I didn't come here first. I'll be coming back here for woods and have him check with driver I got from. Club champion. I really wish I went here first. Iron fitting was $150 but the swing tips alone I feel was so much more. Will be telling everyone to come here. My first visit here ended up with me leaving empty handed…read more I drove 40 minutes to get here and was looking for a particular pair of mizuno shoes and perhaps a new racquet bag. I tried on size 6.5 and the employee was honest and said it was too snug for me. She brought out other pairs for me to try on but they weren't my style. I ended up browsing the store and although they have a big selection of all things raquet sports, I didn't buy anything. I was informed that the next shipment of shoes will be in 3 months or so. I might follow up and give them another try in the future.

The lady helping us was very knowledgeable and was taking down all the rackets that fit what my friend was looking for. He eventually chose a yonex racket and was even able to get it strung right away. While we were waiting for the racket, we started looking at badminton shoes. They had quite a good selection for men, women and kids. I ended up purchasing a pair of yonex shoes which came with the cutest shoe bag. Compared to other stores we've been to, this store has the best deals and the service with a smile just makes it so much better. This is my new go to store for my badminton needs.

I had no idea what rackets were good and what strings to use. Thank goodness for Jem! He recommended the Solinco Blackout and let me demo the racquet during class which felt so much better than playing with my old racquet. I ordered the racquet through him and within a week, I got a new racquet and new poly strings! I had only played with synthetic gut before and felt like the tension got loose fairly quickly within a month. The poly was a game changer. I thought the tension stayed about the same for the next 6 months (playing about 2 or 3 times a week). He has a very convenient online appointment system and he offers same day and next day stringing service if needed at a great price! If you message him, he is very quick to respond.
