Purchased a Dometic Water Jug and Faucet set from them at the Overland Expo last weekend. It was an impulse buy due to the great deal, or so I thought. They charged me for everything and stated that I would be emailed a receipt for my purchase. They also noted that the faucet was not in stock but they would call me this week and have me come in to pick it up. No emailed receipt, no call all week. Then today, rather than a phone call, I get a text stating we no longer carry the item and it will cost an additional $43 if you want the complete system. This seemed very shady (Bait & Switch) so I returned the faucet system and will be bringing back the useless jug tomorrow. read more

Rarely, do I ever review, but the customer service and speed from Andrew at Rack Attack was amazing. From the time I walked into the store, I was promptly greeted and asked if there was any help I needed. I was looking for a whole new rack/cargo box setup for my 2018 Prius. I didn't want to do the clip ons, so Andrew carefully went through all the products and walked through the selection they had at their store, and not trying to only sell me on their most expensive products, but what would fit and suit my needs the best. We decided on a complete Thule setup. Payment was easy, with an additional discount for getting the whole setup and installation from them! I came into the store on Wednesday, and was able to get the whole car setup and installed by the next day. The setup took a little over 3 hours, but they would call and check in if they had any other concerns than what was previously discussed. When the setup was done, Andrew made sure I understood how the rack and box worked step by step. He even said that if I wanted to come back to make all the keys the same for the locks I'd be able to do that free of charge next week! Andrew provided excellent customer service, significantly helping make this big purchase less stressful for me. He accurately assessed my needs and wants through conversation and helped me finalize which box I wanted. I had many questions and he answered them all. I felt intimidated about putting on my factory crossbars and he showed me how to do it myself (with a little help haha). This made me feel so accomplished! I highly recommend this store! I called Rack Attack in Tustin while I was searching for an electric vehicle to purchase. One of the car dealers told me I couldn't install a rack on a certain model because of its glass roof - I called Rack Attack and one of their team members, Son, did a bunch of research to make sure I could install a rack, and he even scoured Reddit forums to figure out exactly what setup would work and to send me photos of what it would look like. I ended up choosing a different model car, and Son helped me figure out the setup for that one as well. They had to order a part from another store but it arrived quickly and they called me as soon as it arrived. The install was super fast as well. Everyone there was really nice. Another sales associate, Andrew, helped walk me through some cargo box and bike rack options without making me feel pressured to buy anything that day. We had a good time talking about EVs. Service - 3 Quality - 1 Pricing - 3 Delivery - 2 Overall 2 - Could have been better. On communication and quality. just a lot of apologizing vs. responsiveness. Story time: Went in the store to look at having a hitch installed on a tesla. Basically, I was told that was a better option than the roof rack. They didn't have the hitch in stock, and it needed to be ordered about 5-7 days. Prepaid for installation and additional paid for a foldable hitch. Appointment was scheduled, and on the day of the appointment, they were short-handed. I was told 3 to 4 hours. So I walked around the mall, went to the movies and ate then around hour 4, when I'm expecting " your car is ready" instead I got, "we can't get a bolt off". I would have expected this like 2 hours into the installation. So I walked back, wait an additional hour while they put things back, and they said that I needed to go to tesla because something is wrong. (NOTE, I have not had any service from tesla other than tires) so I go to tesla who basically says because a 3rd party non authorized dealer has touched the car they don't cover it and I would need to pay to have them look at it. At this point, 5 hours, installations not complete, and now there is a problem. After I leave tesla, I call Rack Attack back and tell them I need to have them figure it out since now I was in a limbo position and installation was already prepaid. Even more disappointed when I got home to discover hardware was left in the trunk and not reinstallation. Initially, I was told the hardware wasn't from the installation , but i later discovered where the parts were inadvertently left out of reinstallation. The first appointment was a Friday at noon, and the next reschedule was Sunday afternoon. That also took another 5 hours. There was no attempt to make it right other than a few apologies. For the cost vs. time spent and quality of work, I am not a fan. Even with the car identified challenge, the fact that hardware was not reinstalled and left in the trunk shows me the attention to detail was not there and leaves in question what else was not done back to standards. Back Story: Wanted to get racks installed and was going to go with Lexus - made sure the part were available and scheduled an appointment only to learn that they could not install on our car due to liability. We have a Panoramic roof and putting cross bars would interfere with the sun roof. I went online and read Reddit and Lexus forums to learn about what was needed to make this happen. Everything pointed to having to drill and MacGyver racks onto the car. Sounded too difficult and permanent so we had decided against getting crossbars and just wait for us to buy our next car with the crossbars and no Pano roof. This was October 2021. Fast forward to March 2022. My husband fortuitously passes by the store on his way to his haircut. Came out with some information and brought it home to share with me. We decided to move forward with the estimate provided by Victor. They make it really simple to just click and reserve the parts required. Received a call that our parts were not available in store so they needed to get it shipped from their other store - this you need to pay for in advance. Took some time to arrive, so I followed up and was told they contacted another store to get the parts - so whichever one shows up first is ours. Received a call that the parts have arrived! Scheduled our appointment. Got the racks installed! Looks great! :) My husband needed to drop off early and luckily there were already 5 people inside prepping for the day. He dropped off at 9:50 am and it was done at 11:00 am. Andy then let my husband know that the crossbars can come off and that we can come in to get the locks to our Thule Roof box to be the same as our crossbars! He demonstrated how to take them off, adjust them, tip (keep trunk open so it doesn't hit weird). TL:DR - Lexus won't install crossbars if you have a pano roof, Rack Attack will take care of all of that. Communication is on point, service is amazing - totally recommend them! read more
