I called around and everyone laughed and said good luck. When I called Jose at Tire Palace he said, "No problem, I have a used one of those in stock". I had AAA get the car there right before closing and the guys got my tire off, balanced and replaced in about 15 minutes without marking the wheel - I actually own an automotive shop and this is not an easy wheel/tire to mount. When I asked how much, he could have told me any amount - I was at his mercy. Jose chose not to take advantage of that. Jose saved me about $1000 in hotel costs and a new Pirelli tire. He also saved me the thousands I would have lost by having my business closed the next day. He charged me $65+tax... Class act Jose!

I had been going to Westchester Mini, but…read moreafter the warranty ended, it makes no sense sticking with the wildly over-priced dealer with their scams. I had an annual inspection at Mini of Westchester and wanted an all-wheel alignment. They said the tie rods bolts were stripped and I would need to replace them first for $1,800 and then the alignment would be $400. I said No. The next year at Huber's, I asked them for the alignment which they did for $200 and NOTHING about tie rods. After the alignment, the car drove noticeably better. Every cost for their service is half the cost the dealership charges. Good to have an honest and reasonably priced place to have my foreign car serviced.
