Rather than clearly explaining costs upfront, they simply referred me to a sign in their office after the fact, which felt misleading. When dealing with customers who are already in difficult situations, I expected at least a basic level of professionalism or willingness to help--unfortunately, that was not the case. They were unwilling to negotiate or offer any assistance, leaving me feeling taken advantage of. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere if you value honest communication and fair treatment.

(Being new to the area all I had to go by was big shop or small.) Initially they told me the car would likely be ready around mid January factoring in getting parts and the holidays. While the communication was all initiated by me, once I got someone on the phone it was all pleasant and accurate. Despite my crappy insurance company (you know the one cough Jake cough) the car was done January 14th. After a cursory inspection it appears to be a first class job. The paint looks great, all the electronics is working, and I'm happy.

Very accommodating, quality workmanship, fair prices, fantastic customer service…read more Happened to stop by this place after finding it on Yelp when a nearby business was taking too long to send us a quote for a bumper repair. I stopped by for a quote, and from the start, J.T. was very transparent with us and told us that pricing would depend on how perfect we wanted the damage to look after the fix. He gave us a very fair price for an intermediate fix, which we decided to go with. Later on, we got a phone call that the fix was quicker than they thought, and they were knocking the price down even further. It's hard to come by this kind of honesty. Also, had a great conversation with the owner of the business about a modified Jeep he gave me a ride in to a rental car place. Would definitely love to give more business to this place. Very impressed.

Although the front desk was clean, I was left with the impression that the people up front…read moreanswering the phone are not mechanics; they are salespeople. They sold me a diagnostic check costing $209. After that was done, I was informed that it needed to go to stage 2, costing an untold amount, and it was unclear. They told me I would need to leave the car overnight, when over the phone Ty had made it sound like what I needed would take a few hours at most. The saving grace was the mechanic who told me, moments before I took their custom-wrapped shuttle vehicle to my apartment, who shot straight and told me it would cost more than the car to have what they intended to do for stage 2 diagnostics. I was not made aware of the potential costs before being ushered to the shuttle to my apartment. I only found out because I had to retrieve things from my car and spoke with the man doing the actual work. I verbally chewed out Brown, and to his credit, he accepted the ire with a calm manner and spoke kindly, which I really respect, but to be fair, he never made it clear what the stage 2 diagnostics comprised of and what the projected cost would be, allowing me to assume things were still heading in a clear direction. The reality was that the mechanic had never done this sort of computer work before and would need to build a custom reader. I did not find out until I spoke with the mechanic about what was actually happening. What made this so frustrating was that I told Brown I was down to my last dollar and borrowing money. I do not feel as if the best effort was made toward transparency of cost when it really mattered. I'm used to speaking with an honest, hardworking mechanic.
